Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.指紋センサ装置であって、 指の先端を受けるように設計された外面を有し、内面上に90μm以下の一定 のピッチにおいて配置される感光素子の二次元マトリクスを担持する、薄く平た い透明な支持体(10)を含み、前記素子は、感光素子の幅より幅の小さい透明 な帯の形をした間隙によって隔てられ、前記指紋センサ装置はさらに 支持体に面する内面を有し、光ビームを支持体の帯状の間隙を介して支持体を 通って前記外面にほぼ直行するように向けるための光源を担持する基板(14) と、 前記光源に電力を与え、かつ感光素子を読取るための手段とを含み、前記感光 素子は光源からの光から保護され、そのため支持体の外面に向かって後方散乱し た光のみに応答して出力信号を提供する、指紋センサ装置。 2.前記光源は、基板上に配置された薄膜発光ダイオード、発光ダイオードの並 行する帯、または1つの連続した平坦な構成要素からなることを特徴とする、請 求項1に記載の装置。 3.前記光源は個別の発光ダイオードからなり、各発光ダイオードはその放射光 束を集中させるためのレンズを担持することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の装 置。 4.前記感光素子は、支持体を構成するシリコンの薄膜に一体化されたフォトダ イオードからなることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の装置。 7.前記間隙の幅は感光素子の幅よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記 載の装置。 8.前記基板は、基板に対して横方向または長手方向に配置される光源から受け る光を支持体に向かって屈折させるための構成要素であることを特徴とする、請 求項1に記載の装置。
