- 【特許請求の範囲】 1 立方体、平行六面体又は球状体粒子の形態にあり且つせいぜい0.8の分 散指数を有することを特徴とする硼酸希土類元素。 2. ドープ剤として、アンチモン、ビスマス及び硼酸塩を補充する希土類元素 以外の希土類元素から選択される少なくとも1種の元素をさらに含み、ドープ剤 としての希土類元素が特にセリウム、テルビウム、ユーロピウム、ツリウム、エ ルビウム及びプラセオジムであることができることを特徴とする請求項1に記載 の硼酸塩。 3. 硼酸塩を補充する希土類元素がイットリウム、ガドリニウム、ランタン、 ルテチウム及びスカンジウムよりなる群に属することを特徴とする請求項1又は 2のいずれかに記載の硼酸塩。 4. ドープ剤としてユーロピウムを含み、254nmでの励起下で600〜6 50nmの波長範囲で発光強度最大値を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3 のいずれかに記載のイットリウム、ガドリニウム、スカンジウム及びルテチウム から選択される少なくとも1種の元素の硼酸塩。 5. 前記の元素がイットリウム及び(又は)ガドリニウムであることを特徴と する請求項4に記載の硼酸塩。 6. せいぜい10μmの平均粒度を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のい ずれかに記載の硼酸塩。 7. 立方体、平行六面体又は球状体粒子の形態にあり且つせいぜい0.8の分 散指数を有することを特徴とするヒドロオキシ炭酸硼素希土類元素。 8. アンチモン、ビスマス及びヒドロオキシ炭酸塩を補充する希土類元素以外 の希土類元素から選択される少なくとも1種の元素をさらに含むことを特徴とす る請求項7に記載のヒドロオキシ炭酸塩。 9. ヒドロオキシ炭酸塩を補充する希土類元素がイットリウム、ガドリニウム 、ランタン、ルテチウム及びスカンジウムよりなる群に属することを特徴とする 請求項7又は8に記載のヒドロオキシ炭酸塩。 10. テルビウムも含み、ルミネセンス性を有するヒドロオキシ炭酸硼素イッ トリウム又はヒドロオキシ炭酸硼素イットリウムガドリニウム。 11. せいぜい0.8の分散指数を有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載 のヒドロオキシ炭酸塩。 12. 立方体、平行六面体又は球状体粒子の形態にあることを特徴とする請求 項10又は11に記載のヒドロオキシ炭酸塩。 13. 炭酸又はヒドロオキシ炭酸希土類元素を、反応媒体を水溶液状にして、 硼酸と反応させることを特徴とする、ヒドロオキシ炭酸硼素希土類元素の製造方 法。 14. 炭酸又はヒドロオキシ炭酸希土類元素を、反応媒体を水溶液状にして、 硼酸と反応させ、反応生成物を仮焼することを特徴とする、硼酸希土類元素の製 造方法。 15. 反応媒体が、少なくとも300%の水/硼酸+炭酸塩質量比で水を使用 して形成されることを特徴とする請求項13又は14に記載の方法。 16. 反応媒体が、少なくとも1000%の水/硼酸+炭酸塩質量比で水を使 用して形成されることを特徴とする請求項13又は14に記載の方法。 17. 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の硼酸塩又は請求項13〜16のいずれ かに記載の方法により得られた硼酸塩又は請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の ヒドロオキシ炭酸塩の発行団としての用途。 18. 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の硼酸塩又は請求項13〜16のいずれ かに記載の方法により得られた硼酸塩又は請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の ヒドロオキシ炭酸塩のプラズマ系又は三色ランプにおける低電圧ルミネセンスで の発行団としての用途。 19. 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の硼酸塩又は請求項13〜16のいずれ かに記載の方法により得られた硼酸塩又は請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の ヒドロオキシ炭酸塩を含むことを特徴とする、低電圧ルミネセンスを使用する装 置。 20. 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の硼酸塩又は請求項13〜16のいずれ かに記載の方法により得られた硼酸塩又は請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の ヒドロオキシ炭酸塩を含むことを特徴とする、プラズマ系。 21. 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の硼酸塩又は請求項13〜16のいずれ かに記載の方法により得られた硼酸塩又は請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の ヒドロオキシ炭酸塩を含むことを特徴とする、三色ランプ。
