Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.水性流体と接触して膨張し該流体を吸収し得る潰れ得るポリマーフォーム材 であって、親水性で柔軟な、相互連通連続気泡の非イオン系ポリマー構造を方が いし、該フォーム構造が、 A)少なくとも0.025、好ましくは少なくとも0.05m2/ccのフ ォーム体積当りの比表面積、 B)それに含まれた少なくとも0.1重量%の毒物学的に許容され得る吸湿 性水和塩、 C)潰れた状態において、30kPa以下の膨張圧、 D)55ないし100mL/gの自由吸収容量、 E)少なくとも6:1の膨張厚さ対潰れ厚さの比、 F)5.1kPaの閉じ込め圧下で測定して、40%以下、好ましくは4な いし15%の耐圧縮たわみ性 を有することを特徴とする潰れ得るポリマーフォーム材。 2.フォーム構造が、 A)3ないし15、好ましくは5ないし11m2/gの毛管吸引比表面積、 B)少なくとも4重量%、好ましくは2ないし25重量%の残存水含有率、 C)1ないし10重量%の塩化カルシウム、およびフォーム構造の表面を親 水性にするためにその中に含まれた0.5ないし10重量%の親水化界面活性剤 、 D)潰れた状態において、7ないし20kPaの膨張圧、 D)55ないし75mL/gの自由吸収容量、 E)6:1ないし10:1の膨張厚さ対潰れ厚さの比、 F)2ないし25%の耐圧縮たわみ性 を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のフォーム材。 3. 1)油相であって、 a)35℃以下、好ましくは15°ないし30℃のTg値を有する共 重合体を生成し得るモノマー成分にして、 i)25℃以下のTgを有するポリマーを生成し得る実質的に水 不溶性の一官能性モノマー45ないし70重量%、 ii)スチレンによって提供される粘り強さとほぼ同等の粘り強さ を付与し得る実質的に水不溶性の一官能性コモノマー10ないし30重量%、 iii)ジビニルベンゼン、トリビニルベンゼン、ジビニルトルエン 、ジビニルキシレン、ジビニルナフタレン、ジビニルアルキルベンゼン、ジビニ ルフェナンスレン、ジビニルビフェニル、ジビニルジフェニルメタン、ジビニル ベンジル、ジビニルフェニルエーテル、ジビニルジフェニルスルフィド、ジビニ ルフラン、ジビニルスルフィド、ジビニルスルホンおよびそれらの混合物からな る群の中から選ばれる第1の実質的に水不溶性の多官能性架橋剤5ないし25重 量%、および iv)多官能性アクリレート、メタクリレート、アクリルアミド、 メタクリルアミドおよびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から選ばれる第2の実質 的に水不溶性の多官能性架橋剤0ないし15重量% を含むモノマー成分85ないし98重量%、好ましくは90ないし97重量%、 b)該油相中に可溶であり、安定な油中水型エマルジョンを生成する に適した乳化剤成分2ないし15重量%、好ましくは3ないし10重量% を包含する油相、並びに 2)水溶性電解質、好ましくは塩化カルシウム0.2ないし20重量%、 好ましくは1ないし10重量%を含む水相、 3)55:1ないし100:1、好ましくは55:1ないし75:1の範 囲内の水相対油相の体積対重量比 を有する重合された油中水型エマルジョンを包含することを特徴とする請求項1 または2記載のフォーム材。 4.モノマー成分が、 i)C4〜C14アルキルアクリレート、アリールおよびアルカリールアク リレート、C6〜C16アルキルメタクリレート、アクリルアミド、C4〜C12アル キルスチレンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から選ばれるモノマー50な いし65重量%、 ii)スチレン、エチルスチレンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から 選ばれるコモノマー15ないし23重量%、 iii)ジビニルベンゼン12ないし18重量%、および iv)1,4−ブタンジオールジメタクリレート、エチレングリコールジメ タクリレート、1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレートおよびそれらの混合物 からなる群の中から選ばれる該第2の架橋剤7ないし13重量% を含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載のフォーム材。 5.モノマー(i)が、ブチルアクリレート、ヘキシルアクリレート、オクチル アクリレート、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート、ノニルアクリレート、デシル アクリレート、ドデシルアクリレート、イソデシルアクリレート、テトラデシル アクリレート、ベンジルアクリレート、ノニルフェニルアクリレート、ヘキシル メタクリレート、オクチルメタクリレート、ノニルメタクリレート、デシルメタ クリレート、イソデシルメタクリレート、ドデシルメタクリレート、テトラデシ ルメタクリレート、p−n−オクチルスチレン、N−オクタデシルアクリルアミ ド、およびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項 4記載のフォーム材、 6.水性体液を吸収および保持するために特に好適な吸収性製品であって、 I)裏打ちシート、および II)該裏打ちシートと該製品の着用者の体液放出領域との間に位置するよう に該裏打ちシートと関連する吸収性コアであって、請求項1ないし5のいずれか 1項記載のフォーム材を包含することを特徴とする吸収性コア を備えた吸収性製品。 7.吸収性コアが、(1)流体放出領域内に位置する流体取扱層、および(2) 該流体取扱層と流体連通する流体貯蔵/再分配層を包含することを特徴とする請 求項6記載の吸収性製品。 8.失禁性個人により放出された水性体液を吸収するために有用なおしめであっ て、 I)比較的液体不透過性の裏打ちシート II)比較的液体透過性のトップシート III)該バッキングシートとトップシートとの間に位置する吸収性コアであ って、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項記載のフォーム材を包含することを特徴 とする吸収性コア を備えたおしめ。 9.水性流体を獲得および分配し得る吸収性ポリマーフォーム材を製造するため の方法であって、 A)油中水型エマルジョンを 1)油相であって、 a)約35℃以下、好ましくは15°ないし30℃のTg値を有する 共重合体を生成し得るモノマー成分にして、 i)25℃以下のTgポリマーを生成し得る実質的に水不溶性の 一官能性モノマー約45ないし約70重量%、 ii)スチレンによって提供される粘り強さとほぼ同等の粘り強さ を付与し得る実質的に水不溶性の一官能性コモノマー10ないし30重量%、 iii)ジビニルベンゼン、トリビニルベンゼン、ジビニルトルエン 、ジビニルキシレン、ジビニルナフタレン、ジビニルアルキルベンゼン、ジビニ ルフェナンスレン、ジビニルビフェニル、ジビニルジフェニルメタン、ジビニル ベンジル、ジビニルフェニルエーテル、ジビニルジフェニルスルフィド、ジビニ ルフラン、ジビニルスルフィド、ジビニルスルホンおよびそれらの混合物からな る群の中から選ばれる第1の実質的に水不溶性の多官能性架橋剤5ないし25重 量%、および iv)多官能性アクリレート、メタクリレート、アクリルアミド、 メタクリルアミドおよびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から選ばれる第2の実質 的に水不溶性の多官能性架橋剤0ないし15重量% を含むモノマー成分85ないし98重量%、好ましくは90ないし97重量%、 および b)該油相中に可溶であり、かつ安定な油中水型エマルジョンを生成 するに適した乳化成分であって、分枝C16〜C24脂肪酸、線状不飽和C16〜C22 脂肪酸、および線状飽和C12〜C14脂肪酸のジグリセロールモノエステル;分枝 C16〜C24脂肪酸、線状不飽和C16〜C22脂肪酸、および線状飽和C12〜C14脂 肪酸のソルビタンモノエステル;分枝C16〜C24アルコール、 線状不飽和C16〜C22アルコール、および線状飽和C12〜C14アルコールのジグ リセロールモノ脂肪族エーテル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から選ば れ、該乳化成分の少なくとも約40重量%を有する一次乳化剤を包含する乳化剤 成分約2ないし約15重量%、好ましくは3ないし10重量% を包含する油相、並びに 2) (a)水溶性電解質、好ましくは塩化カルシウム約0.2ないし約2 0重量%、好ましくは1ないし10重量%、および(b)効果量の重合開始剤を 含有する水相 であって、 3)該水相対該油相の重量比が、約55:1ないし約100:1、好ましく は55:1ないし75:1である ものから油中水型エマルジョンを生成させる工程、および B)該油中水型エマルジョンの油相中の該モノマー成分を重合させてポリマー フォーム材を生成させる工程 を含むフォーム材の製造方法。 10.水性流体と接触して再膨張する潰れたポリマーフォームが生成する程度に 工程B)のポリマーフォーム材を脱水する工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請 求項9記載の方法。 11.モノマー成分が、 i)C4〜C14アルキルアクリレート、アリールアクリレート、C6〜C16 アルキルメタクリレート、アクリルアミド、C4〜C12アルキルスチレンおよび それらの混合物からなる群の中から選ばれるモノマー50ないし65重量%、 ii)スチレン、エチルスチレンおよびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から 選ばれるコモノマー15ないし23重量%、 iii)ジビニルベンゼン12ないし18重量%、および iv)1,4−ブタンジオールジメタクリレート、エチレングリコールジメ タクリレート、1,6−ヘキサンジオールジアクリレートおよびそれらの混合物 からなる群の中から選ばれる第2の架橋剤7ないし13重量% を含むことを特徴とする請求項9または10記載の方法。 12.モノマー(i)が、ブチルアクリレート、ヘキシルアクリレート、オクチ ルアクリレート、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート、ノニルアクリレート、デシ ルアクリレート、ドデシルアクリレート、イソデシルアクリレート、テトラデシ ルアクリレート、ベンジルアクリレート、ノニルフェニルアクリレート、ヘキシ ルメタクリレート、オクチルメタクリレート、ノニルメタクリレート、デシルメ タクリレート、イソデシルメタクリレート、ドデシルメタクリレート、テトラデ シルメタクリレート、N−オクタデシルアクリルアミド、p−n−オクチルスチ レン、およびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から選ばれることを特徴とする請求 項11記載の方法。 13.一次乳化剤が、ジグリセロールモノオレエート、ジグリセロールミリステ ート、ジグリセロールモノイソステアレート、ヤシ脂肪酸のジグリセロールモノ エステル、ソルビタンモノオレエート、ソルビタンモノミリステート、ヤシ脂肪 酸のソルビタンモノエステルおよびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から選ばれ乳 化成分の少なくとも70%を構成することを特徴とする請求項9ないし12のい ずれか1項記載の方法。 14.乳化剤成分が、ホスファチジルコリンおよびホスファチジルコリン含有組 成物、脂肪族ベタイン、長鎖C12〜C22ジ脂肪族、短鎖C1〜C4ジ脂肪族第四ア ンモニウム塩、長鎖C12〜C22ジアルコイル(アルケノイル)−2−ヒドロキシ エチル、短鎖C1〜C4ジ脂肪族第四アンモニウム塩、長鎖C12〜C22ジ脂肪族イ ミダゾリニウム第四アンモニウム塩、短鎖C1〜C4ジ脂肪族、長鎖C12〜C22モ ノ脂肪族ベンジル第四アンモニウム塩、長鎖C12〜C22ジアルコイル(アルケノ イル)−2−アミノメチル短鎖C1〜C4モノ脂肪族、短鎖C1〜C4モノヒドロキ シ脂肪族第四アンモニウム塩およびそれの混合物から選ばれる二次乳化剤をさら に含み、一次乳化剤対二次乳化剤の重量比が約50:1ないし約1:4であるこ とを特徴とする請求項9ないし13のいずれか1項記載の方法。 15.二次乳化剤が、ジタロウジメチルアンモニウムクロライド、ジタロウ未メ チルアンモニウムメチルスルフェートおよびそれらの混合物からなる群の中から 選ばれ、一次乳化剤対二次乳化剤の重量比が約30:1ないし約2:1であるこ とを特徴とする請求項14記載の方法。
