Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.流体により貫流される多数の流路(8、12)を備え、その第1の流路(1 2)が第2の流路(8)よりも大きな流れ抵抗を有し、ハニカム体(2)が、そ のような流れ抵抗が増大された流路(12)を、円周方向に分散してハニカム体 の横断面の一部分範囲だけを占めて少なくとも一つの塊体あるいは集合体(15 、16)として有していることを特徴とするハニカム体(2)、特に触媒担体。 2.流れ抵抗が増大された流路(12)が残りの流路(8)よりも小さな流体貫 流直径を有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のハニカム体。 3.流れ抵抗が増大された流路(12)が、その始端および/又はその終端にお よび/又はその内側に流れを妨げる補助的な構造(19)を有していることを特 徴とする請求項1又は2記載のハニカム体。 4.ハニカム体(2)が、貫流可能な流路(8、12)を形成する少なくとも部 分的に構造化された板金層(6、7、13、14)から成っていることを特徴と する請求項1又は2又は3記載のハニカム体。 5.ハニカム体が、少なくとも一つの絡み合わされた板金層(6、7、13、1 4)の積層体、特に板金層の積層体から成る二つあるいはそれ以上の積層体を有 していることを特徴とする請求項4記載のハニカム体。 6.板金層(13)の一部が残りの板金層(7)と異なった構造を有し、板金層 のこの部分で形成された流路(12)が残りの流路(8)よりも大きな流れ抵抗 を有していることを特徴とする請求項4又は5記載のハニカム体。 7.平滑な板金(6、14)と波形板金(7、13)とを交互に重ね合わせて構 成され、波形板金(7、13)が少なくとも二つの異なった波高を有し、小さな 波高の板金層(13)が増大された抵抗を有する流路(12)を形成しているこ とを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1つに記載のハニカム体。 8.流体により貫流される多数の流路を有する電気加熱可能な第1のハニカム体 (1)が前置されている請求項1ないし7のいずれか1つに記載の第2のハニカ ム体(2)を備えた排気ガス浄化装置において、ハニカム体(1、2)が順々に 貫流され、電気加熱可能なハニカム体(1)がその横断面にわたって少なくとも 一つの空隙(4、5)によって電気的に分割され、特に蛇行状および/又はスパ イラル状に分割され、第2のハニカム体(2)が少なくとも空隙(4、5)に対 向して位置する範囲にハニカム体(2)の残りの範囲よりも大きな流れ抵抗を有 する流路を塊体として有していることを特徴とする排気ガス浄化装置。 9.空隙(4、5)に対向して位置する第2のハニカム体(2)の範囲(15、 16)における単位断面積当たりの流路(12)の数が第2のハニカム体(2) の残りの範囲よりも多いことを特徴とする請求項8記載の装置。 10.空隙(4、5)に対向して位置する範囲(15、16)における単位断面 積当たりの流路(12)の数が流れ方向に変化していることを特徴とする請求項 8又は9記載の装置。 11.流路の数が区域的に変化していることを特徴とする請求項10記載の装置 。 12.第1のハニカム体(1)における流路の最大直径が空隙(4、5)の平均 的な幅とほぼ同じであるかそれより小さいことを特徴とする請求項8ないし11 のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 13.第1のハニカム体(1)が単位断面積当たり第2のハニカム体(2)より も多数の流路を有していることを特徴とする請求項8ないし11のいずれか1つ に記載の装置。 14.両端部分(17、18)が異なった大きさの横断面を有する多数の細長い 支持要素(3)が第1のハニカム体(1)と第2のハニカム体(2)との間を延 び、これらのハニカム体を機械的に結合し、各支持要素(3)が第1のハニカム 体(1)の流路および第2のハニカム体(2)の流路の中に少なくとも部分的に 差し込まれている装置において、第2のハニカム体(2)の流路の中に突出する 各支持要素(3)の太い先端部分(17)の横断面が第1のハニカム体(1)の 流路の中に突出する各支持要素(3)の細い先端部分(18)の横断面より大き いことを特徴とする請求項8ないし13のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 15.第2のハニカム体(2)が層状に配置され少なくとも部分的に構造化され た板金層(7、13)を有し、これらの板金層がほぼ流れ方向に延び板金の構造 によって決定される寸法の流路(6、12)を形成している装置において、第2 のハニカム体(2)が少なくとも二種類の異なって構造化された板金を有してい ることを特徴とする請求項8ないし14のいずれか1つに記載の装置。 16.第2のハニカム体(2)が、空隙(4、5)に対向して位置する小さな波 高の少なくとも一つの第1の波形板金層と、支持要素を収容する大きな波高の少 なくとも一つの第2の波形板金層とを有していることを特徴とする請求項14又 は15記載の装置。 17.異なって構造化された板金層がそれぞれハニカム体(2)の前方部分区間 (A)にわたってしか延びていないことを特徴とする請求項15又は16記載の 装置。 18.流れ方向に続いている部分区間における流路の数が横断面に関して流れ方 向に増大しているか減少し、特に大きな波高の波形板金層の後ろで増大しおよび /又は小さな波高の波形板金層の後ろで減少していることを特徴とする請求項1 7記載の装置。 19.第1のハニカム体(1)および第2のハニカム体(2)が互いに絡み合わ された板金層、特にS字状に絡み合わされた板金層の積層体から構成され、両ハ ニカム体の絡み合わせ経過が互いに一致し、特にS字状の絡み合わせの整列およ び積層体の高さが同じであるように整列されていることを特徴とする請求項8な いし18のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
