Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 金属の表面に希土類元素含有皮膜を形成する酸性水溶液において、前記 溶液が有効量の、 (a) 以下に規定する高原子価状態を二つ以上有することができる少なくと も1種の希土類元素を含む1種以上の希土類元素含有種;ならびに (b)(i)少なくとも1種のペルオキソ配位子を含む水性金属錯体;および (ii)酸の共役塩基の金属塩類または水性金属錯体(ただし該金属はこ こで規定する遷移元素および周期律表の第IVA族元素から選ばれる)を含む該 群から選ばれる1種以上の添加剤 を含む酸性水溶液。 2. 前記群(b)(ii)の遷移元素が銀、マンガン、銅、亜鉛、ルテニウム および鉄を含む請求項1に記載の酸性水溶液。 3. 前記群(b)(ii)の第IVA族元素がスズである請求項1または請求 項2記載の酸性水溶液。 4. 前記群(b)(ii)の酸の共役塩基が下記の酸の1種以上から得られる 前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液: 塩酸、カルボン酸、硝酸、リン酸、フッ化水素酸、硫酸、亜硫酸、スルファミ ン酸、アルキルまたはアリールスルホン酸、アルキルまたはアリールホスホン酸 、ジカルボン酸およびこれらの混合物。 5. 群(a)の該1種以上の希土類元素含有種がセリウムおよび/または希 土類元素混合物を含有する前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 6. 群(a)の該希土類元素含有種が1種以上の該化合物:塩化セリウム( III)、硫酸セリウム(III)および硝酸セリウム(III)の水溶液によ ってもたらされる前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 7. 該希土類元素含有種が最大10グラム/リットルのセリウム濃度のセリ ウム含有イオンを含む前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 8. セリウムの該濃度が3.8ないし7.2グラム/リットルである請求項 7に記載の酸性水溶液。 9. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体が前記溶液中においてその場で生成さ れる請求項1ないし8のいずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 10. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体が前記溶液に添加する前に形成され る請求項1ないし8のいずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 11. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体が遷移金属カチオンのペルオキソ錯 体である前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 12. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体が本明細書で規定する周期律表の第 IVB族、第VB族、第VIB族および第VIIB族から選ばれる金属のペルオ キソ錯体である前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 13. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体が下記の群から選ばれる前記請求項 中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液: ペルオキソチタン錯体、ペルオキソバナジウム錯体、ペルオキソニオブ錯体、 ペルオキソタンタル錯体、ペルオキソモリブデン錯体、ペルオキソタングステン 錯体、ペルオキソマンガン錯体、ペルオキソジルコニウム錯体およびこれらの混 合物。 14. さらに酸化剤を含む前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶 液。 15. 前記酸化剤が過酸化水素である請求項14に記載の酸性水溶液。 16. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体の該濃度が10ないし500ppm である前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 17. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体の該濃度が10ないし250ppm である前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 18. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体の該濃度が10ないし180ppm である前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 19. 群(b)(ii)の該金属錯体の該濃度が10ないし2000ppmで ある前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 20. 該酸化剤の該濃度が0.3ないし1.7容量%である請求項14ない し19のいずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 21. 該酸化剤の該濃度が0.3ないし0.5容量%である請求項14ない し20のいずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 22. 該酸性水溶液の該pHが4未満である前記請求項中いずれか1つの項 に記載の酸性水溶液。 23. 該酸性水溶液の該pHが1ないし2.5である前記請求項中いずれか 1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 24. 該酸性水溶液の該温度が外界温度ないし60℃である前記請求項中い ずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 25. 群(b)(i)および(b)(ii)のそれぞれから選ばれる1種以上 の添加剤を含む前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 26. 金属の表面に皮膜を形成する方法において、該金属表面を、有効量の : (a) 本明細書で規定する高原子価状態を二つ以上有することができる少な くとも1種の希土類元素を含む1種以上の希土類元素含有種;ならびに (b)(i)少なくとも1種のペルオキソ配位子を含む水性金属錯体;および (ii)酸の共役塩基の金属塩または水性金属錯体(ただし該金属はここ で規定する遷移元素および周期律表の第IVA族元素から選ばれる)を含む群か ら選ばれる1種以上の添加剤 を含む酸性水溶液と接触させる該工程を含む方法。 27. 群(b)(ii)の該遷移元素が銀、マンガン、銅、ルテニウム、亜鉛 および鉄を含む請求項26に記載の方法。 28. 群(b)(ii)の該第IVA族元素がスズである請求項26または2 7のいずれかに記載の方法。 29. 群(b)(ii)の酸の該共役塩基が1種以上の下記の酸から得られる 前記請求項26ないし28のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法: 塩酸、カルボン酸、硝酸、リン酸、フッ化水素酸、硫酸、亜硫酸、スルファミ ン酸、アルキルまたはアリールスルホン酸、アルキルまたはアリールホスホン酸 、ジカルボン酸およびこれらの混合物。 30. 群(a)の該1種以上の希土類元素含有種がセリウムおよび/または 希土類元素混合物を含有する請求項26ないし29のいずれか1つの項に記載の 方法。 31. 前記群(a)の希土類元素含有種が、1種以上の化合物:塩化セリウ ム(III)、硫酸セリウム(IV)および硝酸セリウム(III)の水溶液に よってもたらされる請求項26ないし30のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 32. 前記希土類元素含有種がセリウムの最高10グラム/リットルの濃度 のセリウム含有イオンを含む請求項26ないし31のいずれか1つの項に記載の 方法。 33. セリウムの該濃度が3.8ないし7.2グラム/リットルである請求 項32に記載の方法。 34. 前記群(b)(i)の水性金属錯体が前記溶液中においてその場で形 成される請求項26ないし33のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 35. 前記群(b)(i)の水性金属錯体が前記溶液に添加する前に形成さ れる請求項26ないし33のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 36. 前記群(b)(i)の水性金属錯体が遷移金属カチオンのペルオキソ 錯体である請求項26ないし35のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 37. 前記群(b)(i)の水性金属錯体が本明細書で規定する周期律表の 第IVB族、第VB族、第VIB族および第VIIB族から選ばれる金属のペル オキソ錯体である請求項26ないし36のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 38. 群(b)(i)の該水性金属錯体が下記群から選ばれる請求項26な いし37のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法: ペルオキソチタン錯体、ペルオキソバナジウム錯体、ペルオキソニオビウム錯 体、ペルオキソタンタル錯体、ペルオキソモリブデン錯体、ペルオキソタングス テン錯体、ペルオキソマンガン錯体、ペルオキソジルコニウム錯体およびこれら の混合物。 39. さらに酸化剤を含む請求項26ないし38のいずれか1つの項に記載 の方法。 40. 前記酸化剤が過酸化水素である請求項39に記載の方法。 41. 前記群(b)(i)の水性金属錯体の該濃度が10ないし500pp mである請求項26ないし40のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 42. 前記群(b)(i)の水性金属錯体の該濃度が10ないし250pp mである請求項26ないし41のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 43. 前記群(b)(i)の水性金属錯体の該濃度が10ないし180pp mである請求項26ないし42のいずれか1つの項に記載の酸性水溶液。 44. 前記群(b)(ii)の金属錯体の該濃度が10ないし2000ppm である前記請求項中いずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 45. 前記酸化剤の濃度が0.3ないし1.7容量%である請求項39ない し44のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 46. 前記酸化剤の濃度が0.3ないし0.5容量%である請求項39ない し45のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 47. 前記酸性水溶液の該pHが4未満である請求項26ないし46のいず れか1つの項に記載の方法。 48. 前記酸性水溶液の該pHが1ないし2.5である請求項26ないし4 7のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 49. 前記酸性水溶液の温度が外界温度ないし60℃である請求項26ない し48のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 50. 前記酸性水溶液が群(b)(i)および(b)(ii)のそれぞれから 選ばれる1種以上の添加剤を含む請求項26ないし49のいずれか1つの項に記 載の方法。 51. 前記金属表面に接触させる工程がアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム含 有合金表面と前記酸性水溶液と接触させることを含む請求項26ないし50のい ずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 52. 前記アルミニウム含有合金が3000、5000および6000シリ ーズのアルミニウム合金から選ばれる請求項51に記載の方法。 53. 前記金属表面を前記酸性水溶液と接触させる工程よりも先に該金属表 面を脱脂および/またはアルカリ洗浄および脱スマットの諸工程を行う前記請求 項中いずれか1つの項に記載の方法。 54. 前記脱スマットの工程が、酸性希土類含有脱スマット溶液で該金属表 面を処理することを含む請求項53に記載の方法。 55. 前記酸性希土類含有脱スマット溶液がセリウムおよび/またはプラセ オジムおよび/または希土類元素混合物、ならびにH2SO4を含む請求項54に 記載の方法。 56. 前記酸性希土類含有脱スマット溶液が1未満のpHを有する請求項5 4または請求項55のいずれかに記載の方法。 57. 請求項26ないし56のいずれか1つの項に記載の方法によって形成 された希土類元素含有皮膜をその上に有する金属表面。 58. 実施例1ないし40のいずれか1つに関して本明細書で実質的に述べ たように、金属の該表面に希土類元素含有皮膜を形成させる酸性水溶液。 59. 実施例1ないし40のいずれか1つに関して本明細書で実質的に述べ たように、前記金属表面を酸性水溶液と接触させる工程を含む該金属表面に皮膜 を形成させる方法。 60. 実施例1ないし40のいずれか1つに関して本明細書で実質的に述べ たように、希土類元素含有皮膜をその上に有する金属表面。
