Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. エチレンと酸素とから酸化エチレンを気相製造するための酸化エチレン触 媒において、触媒上有効量の銀と、促進量のアルカリ金属と、促進量のレニウム とレニウム補助促進剤とを約0.05〜約10m2/gの範囲の表面積を有する 適する支持体に支持してなり、レニウム補助促進剤が燐、硼素およびその混合物 から選択されることを特徴とする酸化エチレン触媒。 2. 支持体がα−アルミナである請求の範囲第1項に記載の触媒。 3. アルカリ金属がセシウムである請求の範囲第1項または第2項に記載の触 媒。 4. アルカリ金属がセシウムと少なくとも1種の他のアルカリ金属とからなる 請求の範囲第3項に記載の触媒。 5. 銀の量が全触媒に対し1〜25重量%の範囲であり、アルカリ金属促進剤 の量が全触媒の重量に対し金属として現して10〜3000ppmの範囲であり 、レニウム促進剤の量が全触媒1g当たり金属として現して0.1〜10μモル の範囲のレニウムであり、レニウム補助促進剤の量が全触媒1g当たり元素とし て現して0.1〜10μモルの範囲のレニウムである請求の範囲第1項に記載の 触媒。 6. 多孔質耐火性支持体に銀とアルカリ金属とレニウムと燐、硼素およびその 混合物よりなる群から選択されるレニウム補助促進剤とからなる1種もしくはそ れ以上の溶液を含浸させ、溶液における銀の濃度(金属として現す)を1g/L 〜溶液における銀の溶解度限界の範囲とし、溶液におけるアルカリ金属の濃度( 金属として現す)を1×10-3〜12g/Lの範囲とし、溶液におけるレニウム の濃度(金属として現す)を5×10-3〜20g/Lの範囲とし、溶液における レニウム補助促進剤の濃度(元素として現す)を1×10-3〜20g/Lの範囲 とし、触媒に触媒上有効量の銀と促進量のアルカリ金属と促進量のレニウムと促 進量のレニウム補助促進剤とを付与することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記 載の触媒の製造方法。 7. 含浸の後、約50〜約600℃の温度で加熱することにより銀を金属銀ま で還元する請求の範囲第6項に記載の方法。 8. レニウム補助促進化合物が酸化性化合物またはオキシアニオンからなる請 求の範囲第6項に記載の触媒。 9. レニウム補助促進化合物が燐酸塩、硼酸塩およびその混合物よりなる群か ら選択される請求の範囲第8項に記載の触媒。 10. レニウム補助促進化合物がオルト燐酸塩、水素燐酸塩、二水素燐酸塩、 メタ燐酸塩、フルオロ燐酸塩、ピロ燐酸塩、次亜燐酸塩、二燐酸塩、三燐酸塩お よびその混合物よりなる群から選択される燐酸塩である請求の範囲第9項に記載 の触媒。 11. レニウム補助促進化合物がメタ硼酸塩、テトラ硼酸塩、テトラフルオロ 硼酸塩およびその混合物よりなる群から選択される硼酸塩である請求の範囲第9 項に記載の触媒。
