Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ポリエチレンオキシドの試料を水溶液中で溶解し、 該ポリエチレンオキシドの溶液を密閉キャニスタに移し、 該キャニスタから遊離の酸素を除去し、 該キャニスタ内の酸素を不活性ガスと交換し、 該キャニスタを照射してポリエチレンオキシドを架橋する、 上記のステップを特徴とするポリエチレンオキシドの架橋方法。 2.上記水溶液が生体食塩水である請求項1に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの架 橋方法。 3.上記ポリエチレンオキシドが架橋前に約200,000ダルトンの分子量で あることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの架橋方法。4. 上記水溶液が平衡塩類溶液である請求項1に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの架橋 方法。 5.上記不活性ガスがアルゴンである請求項1に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの 架橋方法。 6.上記キャニスタがガンマ線源から2.5〜25Mradの線量を照射されること を特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの架橋方法。 7.上記ガンマ線源がコバルト60であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のポ リエチレンオキシドの架橋方法。 8.上記ポリエチレンオキシドを架橋するための照射ステップが同時に同ポリエ チレンオキシドを殺菌することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリエチレンオキ シドの架橋方法。 9.水溶液中でポリエチレンオキシドを溶解することによって形成されるポリエ チレンオキシド溶液の濃度が0.8重量%〜8重量%であることを特徴とする請 求項1に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの架橋方法。 10.照射ステップ後にポリエチレンオキシドから余分な水を乾燥させるステッ プを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの架橋方 法。 11.ポリエチレンオキシドの試料を容器に入った水溶液中で溶解し、 該容器中の酸素と交換するため不活性ガスで該容器を充填し、 該容器を照射してポリエチレンオキシドを架橋する、 上記のステップを特徴とするポリエチレンオキシドの架橋方法。 12.上記ポリエチレンオキシドが架橋前には約200,000ダルトンの分子 量であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの架橋方法 。 13.上記水溶液が生体食塩水であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のポリ エチレンオキシドの架橋方法。 14.上記生体食塩水が平衡塩類溶液である請求項13に記載のポリエチレンオ キシドの架橋方法。 15.ポリエチレンオキシドの試料を生体食塩水中で溶解し、 該ポリエチレンオキシドの溶液を密閉キャニスタに移し、 該キャニスタから遊離の酸素を除去し、 該キャニスタ内の酸素を不活性ガスと交換し、 該キャニスタを照射してポリエチレンオキシドを架橋して殺菌した生体両立 性ゲルを形成し、 該殺菌した生体両立性ゲルをシリンジに挿入し、 該ゲルを角膜中に移植して中空部を充満する移植組織片を形成する、 上記のステップを特徴とする哺乳類動物の角膜に生体両立性ゲルを移植する 方法。 16.上記移植ステップが上記殺菌ゲルをシリンジから押し出すときにそれが割 れるようにしたものであることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のポリエチレンオ キシドの架橋方法。 17.上記ポリエチレンオキシドが架橋前に少なくとも200,000ダルトン の分子量であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のポリエチレンオキシドの架 橋方法。 18.上記生体食塩水が平衡塩類溶液で、上記キャニスタがガンマ線源から2. 5〜25Mradの線量を照射されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載のポリエチ レンオキシドの架橋方法。 19.密閉キャニスタ内の生体食塩水にポリエチレンオキシドの試料を溶解し、 該キャニスタを不活性ガスで充填してキャニスタ内の遊離酸素と交換し、 該キャニスタを照射してポリエチレンオキシドを架橋、殺菌し、 該殺菌したポリエチレンオキシドを哺乳動物中に移植する、 ことを特徴とするステップによって製造される哺乳動物に注入される生体両 立性の移植組織片。 20.約4×104ニュートン/m2以下の弾性係数で、1.3〜1.52の屈折率 のヒドロゲルからなる眼の角膜中に移植するための生体両立性材料。 21.上記ヒドロゲルがガンマ照射によって架橋されたものであることを特徴と する請求項20に記載の生体両立性材料。 22.上記ヒドロゲルの分子量は架橋前約200,000ダルトンであることを 特徴とする請求項21に記載の生体両立性材料。 23.ヒドロゲルを架橋するために使われるガンマ照射が2.5〜25Mradの照 射量であることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の生体両立性材料。 24.上記ヒドロゲルが注入可能なものである請求項20に記載の生体両立性材 料。 25.上記ヒドロゲルが上記ガンマ照射によって殺菌されたものである請求項2 1に記載の生体両立性材料。 26.上記ヒドロゲルが0.8〜8重量%のポリエチレンオキシド含有溶液から 形成されることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の生体両立性材料。 27.架橋前約200,000ダルトンの分子量の純粋なポリエチレンオキシド 0.8〜8%含有溶液から形成された架橋ポリエチレンオキシドゲルを有する哺 乳動物に注入可能な生体両立性移植組織片。 28.ゲルがガンマ照射で架橋されている請求項27に記載の移植組織片。 29.ゲルが哺乳動物内に注入されるとき割れることを特徴とする請求項27に 記載の移植組織片。 30.溶液が平衡塩類溶液である請求項27に記載の移植組織片。 31.ヒドロゲルを通る可視光線および赤外線の透過率が角膜を通る透過率に限 りなく近いことを特徴とする請求項20に記載の生体両立性材料。 32.上記移植組織片が約4×104ニュートン/m2以下の弾性係数である請求 項27に記載の生体両立性移植組織片。 33.ポリエチレンオキシドゲルからなる眼に移植される生体両立性材料。 34.上記ポリエチレンオキシドゲルがガンマ照射で架橋されている請求項33 に記載の生体両立性材料。 35.ゲルが哺乳動物に注入される前に割られることを特徴とする請求項27に 記載の移植組織片。 36.ヒドロゲルが注入されるときに割れることを特徴とする請求項24に記載 の生体両立性材料。 37.ヒドロゲルを注入するのにシリンジを使うことを特徴とする請求項24に 記載の生体両立性材料。 38.上記シリンジが最大19ゲージのサイズの針を使うことを特徴とする請求 項25に記載の生体両立性材料。
