Claims (14)
- 1.複合微多孔膜構造であって、 外面と、内孔面を備えた孔とを有する疎水性ポリオレフィン微多孔性前駆膜と、 前記表面に均一に薄い液膜状に塗布され、前記前駆膜の前記内孔表面に固体状態 で恒久的にグラフトされ、これによって、このように形成されたグラフト膜構造 が、親水性を有し、その微多孔性を実質的に前記前駆膜と同じに保持し、水に対 する湿潤性を有するとともに、非浸出性を有するように構成される、ポリエチレ ングリコールジアクリレートよりなる水溶性親水性ポリマーとを有する。
- 2.請求項1に記載の膜構造であって、前記親水性ポリマーは、ポリエチレング リコールジメタクリレートである。
- 3.請求項1に記載の膜構造であって、前記親水性ポリマーは、ポリエチレング リコールジ(低アルキル)アくリレートである。
- 4.請求項1に記載の膜構造であって、前記ポリオレフィン先駆膜は、ポリプロ ピレン膜である。
- 5.請求項1に記載の膜構造であって、前記ポリオレフィン前駆膜は、部分的に フッ素化されたポリオレフィン膜である。
- 6.請求項1に記載の膜構造であって、前記ポリオレフィン前駆膜は、ポリフッ 化ビニリデン膜である。
- 7.親水微多孔性膜の製造方法であって、以下の工程を有する方法、 ポリオレフィンよりなる第1ポリマーから形成される外表面と内孔表面を備えた 孔を有する微多孔性疎水性膜基体を形成し、 前記基体は、その全表面を、ポリエチレングリコールジアルキルアクリレートか らなる第2ポリマーで直接に被覆され、前記複合多孔膜は、前記多孔膜基体と実 質的に同じ多孔構造を有していて、 前記多孔性膜基体を、エチレングリコール中へ前記第2ポリマーと、フォトイニ シエータとのフォトグラフト用溶液と接触させ、前記第2ポリマーを放射線処理 することによって、グラフトされた膜が、親水性を有し、その微多孔性を実質的 膜基体と同一に保持し、水に対する湿潤性を有するとともに、前記孔の目詰まり を避けながら非浸出性を有するような条件で、前記第2ポリマーをそのままの状 態で基体の全表面にグラフトする工程。
- 8.請求項7に記載の方法であって、前記先駆膜基体は、ポリプロピレンから形 成されている。
- 9.請求項7に記載の方法であって、前記第2ポリマーは、ポリエチレングリコ ールジメタクリレートである。
- 10.請求項7に記載の方法であって、前記フォトグラフト用溶液が、ポリエチ レングリコールジメタクリレートと、フォトイニシエータと、低表面張力液体と 、エチレングリコールとを有する。
- 11.請求項10に記載の方法であって、前記フォトイニシエータは、下記の式 で表されるハイドロキシアルキルフェノンである。 ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ ここで、R1は、水素、C1−4のアルキルグループもしくはアルコキシグルー プ、又はハロゲン、R1及びR3は、それぞれ、C1−4アルキル又はアルコキ シグループである。
- 12.請求項7に記載の方法であって、前記溶液中の前記水溶性ポリマー濃度の 量は、その結果得られるグラフト膜構造が、微多孔性を保持し、水に対して容易 に湿潤し、かつ、非浸出性を有するように調節される。
- 13.請求項7に記載の方法であって、前記放射線処理は以下の工程を有する、 前記疎水性膜基体を前記フォトグラフト融合溶液中にて完全に湿潤する工程と、 前記湿潤膜基体から過剰溶液を除去する工程と、その結果得られる残留湿潤膜を 、UVチャンバ内で不活性ガス中で、約10から約50秒間、約140mW/c m2のUV強度に暴露し、前記ポリエチレングリコールジアルキルアクリレート を前記膜基体にグラフトする工程。
- 14.請求項13に記載の方法であって、以下の工程を有する、 前記グラフト膜基体を、水溶性溶媒中において、フォトグラフト時の汚染物質を 前記膜基体から除去するのに十分な時間、浸漬する工程と、 前記浸漬膜基体を、水で洗浄し、この洗浄した基体を乾燥する工程。
