Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、熱可塑性パイル糸の被覆材を熱可塑性糸から
なる基本構造に温度約423〜433K（150〜160℃）下で溶
接によって定着せしめる、パイル生地からプラッシュ状
清掃布を製造する方法に関する。この種類の清掃布は、
熱可塑性パイル糸を使用するため、化学薬品を付加せず
とも、木綿糸に比べ清掃効果が著しく大きく、特に衛生
施設の清掃に役立つ。その高い清掃力は、熱可塑性パイ
ル糸の削り取り効果に基づいている。本発明は、塗装ロ
ーラの基体のためのパイル生地製張り布について実用新
案明細書8119604に記載されている方法を前提とする。
本発明の課題は、冒頭に記載した方法によって製造され
たパイル生地からなるプラッシュ状清掃布の清掃効果を
さらに高めることである。本発明においてこの課題は、
被覆材を製造する際に、種々の溶解及び収縮温度特性を
有するパイル糸を面状分布において使用し、パイル糸の
第１の部分量が溶接温度下で収縮し、パイル糸の第２の
部分量が収縮しないか、または第１の部分量により収縮
が小さくなるようにすることによって解決される。
この方法により、被覆材が面状分布において著しく収縮
したパイル糸を有する清掃布が得られる。これらのパイ
ル糸は収縮した、すなわち縮れた構造のため、他の収縮
しないか、または僅かしか収縮しない平滑なパイル糸よ
り高い削り取り効果を発揮する。他方、平滑なパイル糸
自体は毛管作用によって十分な吸水能力を有する。第１
の部分量の収縮したパイル糸の高い削り取り効果は、パ
イル糸が拭き取り動作において清掃せらるべき面に接触
すると、これらのパイル糸は不規則に縮れた構造のた
め、個々の領域で拭き取り方向に対して斜めまたは直角
に延びることに基づいている。これと反対に、第２の部
分量の平滑な、収縮しないか、または収縮が少ないパイ
ル糸は、拭き取り方向に配向している。
パイル糸の第１の部分量を全量の約60％とすると有利で
あることが分かった。残りの40％の収縮しないか、また
は収縮が少ないパイル糸は、水を貯蔵する毛管作用にと
って十分である。
さらに、溶接温度下で定着する前に、被覆材を全てのパ
イル糸が均等な長さになるように切断することが推奨さ
れる。この方法によって、第１の部分量の著しく収縮し
たパイル糸は、収縮しないか、または収縮が少ないパイ
ル糸により一様に短くなる。
通常の清掃布として、本発明による方法で製造された清
掃布は、一般に公知のように、周囲が縁取りされてい
る。しかしながら、清掃布は清掃手袋として既製するこ
ともできる。さらに、本発明による方法で製造された清
掃布は、例えばDE-PS2844185による窓清掃具の上張り布
として、または馬ぐしでこすった後の馬の毛皮の手入れ
に適している。
以下に、本発明による方法の実施例を図面に基づいて説
明する。
第１図は、パイル生地部分の拡大図を表す。
第２図は、露出表面を一部取り除いた清掃手袋の平面図
を表す。
プラッシュ状清掃布のためのパイル生地の基本構造は、
熱可塑性材料、なるべくはポリエステル繊維からなる縦
糸２及び横糸３を具備する織物１からなる。基本織物の
代わりに、編成した面状形成物または不織布を用いるこ
ともできる。公知のように、基本織物１は熱可塑性パイ
ル糸４及び５からなる被覆材を設けている。この場合、
例えばダブル・プラッシュ法により、長さ12〜18mmのパ
イル糸を、赤外線などを用いて温度423〜433K（150〜16
0℃）の温度下で溶接によって基本織物に定着せしめ
る。
パイル糸全量の約60％の第１の部分量のパイル糸４を面
状分布において使用する。これらのパイル糸は、パイル
糸４の縮れた構造から分かるように、溶接温度下で著し
く収縮する。パイル糸５の第２の部分量は、パイル糸４
とは異なる溶解もしくは収縮温度特性を有するため、こ
れらのパイル糸は収縮しないか、パイル糸４より収縮が
少ない。著しく収縮したパイル糸４はパイル糸５より硬
く、縮れた構造に基づいて高い削り取り効果を発揮す
る。
第２図に示す清掃手袋６において、パイル糸４及び５で
被覆した露出清掃面を一部取り除いているため、清掃面
下部の基本織物１が露出している。清掃手袋６の開口領
域は、清掃面を止め輪８を付けた帯７で縁取りされてい
る。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】熱可塑性パイル糸の被覆材を、熱可塑性糸
    からなる基本構造に定着したパイル生地からプラッシュ
    状清掃布を製造する方法において、 該プラッシュ状清掃布は異なった溶解もしくは収縮温度
    特性を有する複数種のパイル糸を面状分布において使用
    し、パイル糸（４）の全量の約60％である第一の部分量
    が溶着温度下で収縮し、パイル糸（５）の第二の部分量
    が溶着温度下では収縮しないか、または第一の部分量よ
    り収縮が小さいことを特徴とし、且つ温度150乃至160℃
    （423乃至433K）の溶着温度下で定着する工程以前で
    は、全てのパイル糸（４、５）が均等な長さに、ループ
    を残すことなく裁断されており、更に熱処理をすること
    により収縮差による表面におけるパイル糸の規則的な高
    低差を生ずるようにしたことを特徴とするプラッシュ状
    清掃布を製造する方法。
  2. 【請求項２】周囲が縁取りされていることを特徴とする
    請求項１記載の方法により製造されたプラッシュ状清掃
    布。
  3. 【請求項３】周囲が縁取りされていることを特徴とする
    請求項１記載の方法により製造されたプラッシュ状清掃
    布よりなる清掃用手袋。
