Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〈技術分野〉 本考案は、主として冷蔵庫の扉の開閉装置に係り、詳し
くは、扉を左右任意の側から開閉操作することができる
装置に関する。
〈従来技術〉 第５図は、従来の片開きの冷蔵庫のヒンジの取付状態を
説明するための分解斜視図である。
これらの図に示されるように、従来では、冷凍室、冷蔵
室などの各室を仕切る仕切り部８に、ほぼ直角に屈曲し
たヒンジ用取付板5aを挟み込むような状態でビス21で固
定し、その部分を覆うようにセンタープレート9aを取付
け、その上からヒンジ４をビス10でヒンジ用取付板5aに
取付けている。
このようなヒンジの取付構造では、扉の荷重は、仕切り
部８に固定されたヒンジ用取付板5aで受けることにな
り、ヒンジ４部分が変位しやすく、特に、左右の任意の
側から扉を開閉できる冷蔵庫においては、比較的わずか
なヒンジ４部分の変位でも扉の開閉に支障を来たすとい
う難点がある。
〈考案の目的〉 本考案は、上述の問題点に鑑みてなされたものであっ
て、ヒンジ部分の強度を高めて荷重による変位を低減
し、円滑な扉の開閉が可能な扉の開閉装置を提供するこ
とを目的とする。
〈考案の構成〉 上記目的を達成するために、本考案では、本体の左右両
端部には、ヒンジ板および該ヒンジ板に突設されたヒン
ジピンよりなるヒンジが、ヒンジ用取付板を介して取付
けられ、扉には、前記ヒンジピンが該扉の開放側から係
脱自在に係合しうる係合溝が設けられ、前記扉を左右任
意の側から開閉できる扉の開閉装置であって、前記本体
外殻の内壁部分に、該本体の上下方向に沿って広い範囲
に延びる補強部材を取付け、該補強部材に前記ヒンジ用
取付板が固定されるようにしている。
本考案では、本体の内壁部分に補強部材を取付けてこの
補強部材にヒンジ用取付板を固定するようにしているの
で、ヒンジ部分にかかる荷重を補強部材を介して広い範
囲で受けることができ、ヒンジ部分の強度が高められる
ことになる。
〈実施例〉 以下、本考案を図面に示す実施例に基づいて詳細に説明
する。
第１図は、本考案の一実施例のヒンジの取付状態を説明
するための分解斜視図であり、第２図はヒンジの取付部
分の断面図である。
この実施例は、左右両開きの冷蔵庫であり、本体１の左
右両端部には、ヒンジ板２および該ヒンジ板２に突設さ
れたヒンジピン３よりなるヒンジ４が、ヒンジ用取付板
５を介して取付けられ、図示しない扉には、前記ヒンジ
ピン３が該扉の開放側から係脱自在に係合しうる係合溝
が設けられている。
この実施例では、ヒンジ４部分の強度を高めて扉の荷重
による変位を低減し、扉の円滑な開閉を行えるようにす
るために、第２図に示されるように、冷蔵庫本体１の外
殻11の左右の、いわゆる、フランジ部の内壁部分に、補
強部材としてのアルミサッシ６を本体の上下方向に沿っ
て嵌め込み、このアルミサッシ６にヒンジ用取付板５を
ビス７によって固定するようにしている。この補強部材
としてのアルミサッシ６は、本体１の外殻11の端部11a
に嵌め込めるように係止片6aを有する形状に、押し出し
成形によって形成される。
ヒンジ用取付板５は、このアルミサッシ６にビス７で固
定されるとともに、第５図の従来例と同様に、冷凍室、
冷蔵室などの各室を仕切る仕切り部８にビスで固定され
る。
このヒンジ用取付板５が固定された仕切り部８を覆うよ
うに、センタープレート９が取付けられ、このセンター
プレート９の上からヒンジ４がビス10によってヒンジ用
取付板５に取付けられる。
このようにヒンジ用取付板５を、仕切り部８に固定する
とともに、本体１の外殻11の内壁部分に取付けられた補
強部材としてのアルミサッシ６に固定するようにしてい
るので、ヒンジ用取付板５にかかる扉の荷重が上下に延
びるアルミサッシ６にも分散されることになり、ヒンジ
４部分の強度が高まり、扉荷重による変位が低減され、
扉の円滑な開閉が可能となる。
第３図および第４図は、本考案の他の実施例の第１図お
よび第２図に対応する図である。
この実施例では、補強部材をプレス加工によって「く」
の字状に折曲された鉄板12とし、この鉄板12をリベット
13によって本体１の外殻11の内壁部分に取付け、ヒンジ
用取付板５を、板体14を介して鉄板12にビス７で固定す
るようにしている。その他の構成は、上述の実施例と同
様である。
〈考案の効果〉 以上のように本考案によれば、ヒンジ部分にかかる荷重
を補強部材を介して広い範囲で受けることができ、ヒン
ジ部分の強度が高められ、そのため、扉荷重によるヒン
ジ部分の変位が低減され、扉の円滑な開閉が可能になる
という効果を奏する。

  1. 【請求項１】本体の左右両端部には、ヒンジ板および該
    ヒンジ板に突設されたヒンジピンよりなるヒンジが、ヒ
    ンジ用取付板を介して取付けられ、扉には、前記ヒンジ
    ピンが該扉の開放側から係脱自在に係合し得る係合溝が
    設けられ、前記扉を左右任意の側から開閉できる扉の開
    閉装置であって、 前記本体外殻の内壁部分に、該本体の上下方向に沿って
    広い範囲に延びる補強部材を取付け、該補強部材に前記
    ヒンジ用取付板が固定されることを特徴とする扉の開閉
    装置。
