Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 特定のコードを記憶する手段、そのコードを
検知する手段、コードの検知結果により装置を制御する
手段を有する情報処理回路において電話回線よりはいる
信号を処理し特定のコードを検知することでファクスの
送受信への移行を制御するファクス装置。 【構成】 特定のコードを記憶する手段、そのコードを
検知する手段、コードの検知結果により装置を制御する
手段を有する情報処理回路、電話回線よりはいる信号を
処理し特定のコードを検知することで装置を制御する回
路より構成される。 【効果】 あらかじめファクス装置にコードを記憶させ
留守番電話機リモート操作時にこのコードを入力するこ
とによりファクスの受信への移行を制御し留守番電話機
のリモート操作を可能にすることができるファクス装置
である。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、外部電話を接続して使
用するファクス装置において電話回線より入ってくる信
号を検知し、その検知結果によりファクスの送受信への
移行を制御することを特徴とするファクシミリ装置に関
する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来ファクス装置はビジネスに使用され
ることが多く従って電話機内蔵型のタイプが主流であっ
た。しかしながら最近は、コードレス電話、留守番電話
など高付加価値電話の普及によりそれらの電話機と接続
して使用するタイプのファクス装置が登場した。
【０００３】留守番電話機は、留守メッセージをテープ
などの記憶装置に録音したり、また録音されたメッセー
ジを例えば外の公衆電話機から聞いたりするリモート機
能を一般的に有している。
【０００４】これらの機能を使う場合、一般的にはまず
電話を掛け留守番電話がメッセージ応答中にあらかじめ
留守番電話機本体に記憶されたコードを数字ボタンを押
して入力することにより本体をリモート操作可能状態に
し、あとは留守番電話機固有のコマンド（一般的には任
意の番号、例えば「２２」・・テープ巻戻し、「２３」
・・録音されたメッセージを聞くなど）を入力すること
により録音されているメッセージを聞いたり、また部屋
の状態をルームモニターしたりする。
【０００５】離れた場所から留守番電話を操作すること
を、以降「リモート操作」という。一方、ファクス装置
はＣＮＧ信号を検知する事により自動受信したり、何秒
かの無音を検知することにより受信状態になるのが一般
的である。
【０００６】従来、ファクス装置に留守番電話を接続し
て外から留守番電話機をリモート操作する場合、例えば
留守番電話機のテープ巻戻し中などに何秒かの無音時間
があるとファクスがその無音を検知し回線を捕まえファ
クス装置が受信状態になる。したがって留守番電話機の
リモート操作ができないという問題があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の目的は、この
ような問題を解決するため、あらかじめファクス本体に
コードを記憶させ留守番電話機リモート操作時にこのコ
ードを電話回線より入力することによりファクス装置の
受信への移行を制御し留守番電話機のリモート操作を可
能にすることができるファクシミリ装置を提供するもの
である。

【課題を解決するための手段】この目的を達成するため
に本発明のファクシミリ装置は、特定のコードを記憶す
る手段、そのコードを検知する手段、コードの検知結果
により装置を制御する手段を有する情報処理回路、電話
回線よりはいる信号を処理し特定のコードを検知するこ
とで装置を制御する回路より構成される。

【作用】この構成により、例えば外の公衆電話からコー
ドを入力しファクス装置がそのコードを検知できた時、
ファクス装置の受信移行を制御し留守番電話のリモート
操作を可能にする。

【実施例】以下本発明の実施例について図面を参照しな
がら説明する。図１は本発明の一実施例におけるファク
シミリ装置のブロック図を示すものである。
【００１１】１は電話回線を制御するＮＣＵ部、２はモ
デムを制御するモデム制御部、３はモデムとＣＰＵをイ
ンターフェースするインターフェース部、４はプログラ
ムを格納するＲＯＭ部、５はコードを記憶するＲＡＭ記
憶部、６は入力制御部、７は入力装置、９は原稿を読み
取るスキャナ部、１０は印刷を制御するプリンタ部、８
はこれらすべてを制御するＣＰＵである。
【００１２】図２は、本発明の一実施例におけるファク
シミリ装置と留守番電話装置を接続した図である。
【００１３】本発明のファクシミリ装置には留守番電話
を接続するときの留守モードというものがある。図３に
本発明の一実施例におけるファクシミリ装置と留守番電
話装置を接続した場合のフローチャートを示す。
【００１４】通常、留守番電話接続時は留守番電話機の
方が先に着信するようにベルの回数を設定しておく。
（例えば、留守番電話機を４回で着信、ファクス装置を
６回で着信）このように設定することにより、メッセー
ジは留守番電話機へ、そしてファクスはファクス装置へ
受信できるようになる。
【００１５】Ｓ１で着信のベルを検出しＳ２で指定回数
ベル鳴動があるまで待つ。その後Ｓ３で着信する。着信
後、留守番電話の方はＳ４で留守メッセージを送出する
と共に、Ｓ５でＤＴＭＦの検知を開始する。これをＳ７
留守メッセージの送出が終了するまで行う。この間、Ｓ
６にてコードを検知できた場合、Ｓ８で留守番電話のリ
モート操作を開始する。検知できなかった場合、Ｓ９に
おいて相手のメッセージの録音を開始する。一方ファク
ス装置はＳ３で着信した後、Ｓ１０でＣＮＧ検知、無音
検知をスタートさせる。Ｓ１１でこれらのうちどちらか
を検知できた場合、Ｓ１２で回線を捕まえ受信をスター
トさせる。
【００１６】したがって、メッセージを録音後ＣＮＧを
検知できれば受信処理をするということで、メッセージ
は留守番電話機へ、ファクスはファクス装置へ受信する
ことが可能になる。
【００１７】しかし、留守番電話リモート操作中に無音
が続くと（例えばテープの巻戻しなど）ファクス装置が
回線を捕まえ受信状態にするため留守番電話機のリモー
ト操作に支障をきたすことがあった。
【００１８】図４に、本発明の一実施例におけるファク
シミリ装置の動作を説明するフローチャートを示す。
【００１９】Ｓ２０で着信のベルを検出しＳ２１で指定
回数ベル鳴動があるまで待つ。その後Ｓ２２で着信す
る。着信後、留守番電話の方はＳ２３で留守メッセージ
を送出すると共に、Ｓ２４でＤＴＭＦの検知を開始す
る。これをＳ２６留守メッセージの送出が終了するまで
行う。この間、Ｓ２５にてコードを検知できた場合、Ｓ
２７で留守番電話のリモート操作を開始する。検知でき
なかった場合、Ｓ２８で相手のメッセージの録音を開始
する。一方ファクス装置はＳ２２で着信した後、Ｓ２９
でＣＮＧ検知、無音検知をスタートさせる。次にコード
を検知するためのＤＴＭＦ検知をＳ３０にてスタートさ
せる。Ｓ３１でＣＮＧ、Ｓ３２で無音を検知できた場
合、回線を捕まえＳ３４で受信をスタートさせる。
【００２０】また、Ｓ３３でコードを検知できた場合、
受信処理へ移行しないように制御し回線が切断されるま
でＳ３５にて待つ。
【００２１】したがって、ファクス装置にコードを登録
しておけば、ファクス受信に切り替わることなく留守番
電話機のリモート操作が可能となる。
【００２２】以上のように本発明によれば、ファクス装
置に留守番電話を接続して使用する場合、コードを登録
し、それを検知することにより受信移行を制御し問題な
く留守番電話のリモート操作が可能となる。

【発明の効果】以上のように本発明によれば、ファクス
装置に留守番電話を接続して使用する場合、コードを登
録し、それを検知することにより受信移行を制御し問題
なく留守番電話のリモート操作が可能となる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】特定のコードを記憶する手段と、電話回線
    よりはいる信号を処理する手段とを有し、その処理結果
    により装置を制御する手段を有する情報処理回路におい
    て電話回線より入る信号を処理し特定のコードを検知す
    ることで装置を制御することを特徴とするファクシミリ
    装置。
