【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の背景】本発明は、シャンプー組成物、特にそれ
が残留する髪をより柔らかく且つ扱いやすくする不揮発
性シリコーン物質を含有するシャンプー組成物に関す
る。
【０００２】通常のシャンプー組成物で洗髪した場合、
自然の油分が汚れ及び望ましくない油とともに除去され
る。例えば、特に頻繁に洗うことによって自然の油分が
除去され過ぎた場合、毛髪は櫛で梳いたり髪型を整えた
りしにくくなり、”ふわつき”を起こす静電気が発生す
る。
【０００３】毛髪コンディショニング剤は、髪の状態を
回復させるために開発されてきた。これらの組成物は、
一般に、シャンプー後の毛髪に使用し、一定時間毛髪上
に残留させ、そして漱ぐ。この工程は、２つの別々の物
質を必要とするために、時間と費用が掛かる。
【０００４】陽イオンコンディショニング剤を含有する
コンディショニングシャンプーは、例えば欧州特許ＥＰ
第１８，７１７号（Ｕｎｉｌｅｖｅｒ）に開示されてい
る。これらの陽イオン剤は毛髪に何らかのコンディショ
ニング効果を付与するが、しかし髪に滓を残し、これが
乾いた髪が光沢を失う原因になるとしばしば考えられ
る。
【０００５】シリコーンオイルはコンディショニング剤
であることが公知であって、コンディショニングシャン
プーにそれを用いることは、例えば欧州特許ＥＰ第７
４，２６４号（Ｕｎｉｌｅｖｅｒ）及び欧州特許ＥＰ第
７７，９２０号（Ｋａｏ）で提案されている。しかしな
がら、その組成物はしばしば不安定で、シリコーンオイ
ルが分離しがちであるので、シリコーン含有シャンプー
を処方する場合には注意を要することが判明している。
【０００６】エチレングリコールステアレートのような
慣用の真珠光沢物質が用いられ、シリコーンに懸濁され
ている（欧州特許ＥＰ第１８１，７７３号，Ｐｒｏｃｔ
ｅｒ＆Ｇａｍｂｌｅ）。これらの真珠光沢剤は、液体エ
チレングリコールモノ−及び／又はジ−ステアレートの
水性乳濁液を冷却して、ある範囲の異なるサイズ及び結
晶状態を有するある範囲の蝋質の結晶片又は針状結晶を
生成することによって得られる。狭いサイズ分布を得る
のは難しく、濃縮真珠光沢剤ペーストを商業的に生成す
る場合においても、結晶状態を制御することは難かし
い。真珠光沢結晶は、組成物を真珠光沢化し、他の物質
を懸濁するという２つの機能を有するシャンプー中に混
和すると、分離することが判明している。
【０００７】他方、二酸化チタン被覆雲母粒子は、部分
的に、より厳格なサイズ分布を保証するために製造法を
調節し得るため、そしてさらに乾燥粒子をふるい分ける
のが容易なために、この不安定性の問題はない。
【０００８】不溶性、不揮発性シリコーンを含有する安
定な真珠光沢シャンプー組成物は、懸濁化ポリマーを含
有させることによって得られ、下記のように、貯蔵時の
瓶の上部のシリコーン”クリーム化”を防止し、そして
二酸化チタン被覆雲母の粒子の沈殿を防止する。
【０００９】したがって、本発明は、水に加えて： （ａ）陰イオン、非イオン、又は両性界面活性剤、ある
いはその混合物から選択される２〜４０重量％の界面活
性剤； （ｂ）０．０１〜１０重量％の不溶性不揮発性シリコー

ヘテロ多糖ガムから選択される０．１〜５重量％の懸濁
化ポリマー；並びに （ｄ）０．０１〜５重量％の二酸化チタン被覆雲母を含
有する水性シャンプー組成物を提供する。

【本発明の詳しい説明】（ａ）界面活性剤 本発明の組成物は、陰イオン、非イオン、又は両性界面
活性剤、もしくはその混合物から選択される界面活性剤
を含有する。
【００１１】好適な陰イオン界面活性剤としては、アル
キル硫酸塩、アルキルエーテル硫酸塩、アルカリールス
ルホン酸塩、アルキル琥珀酸塩、アルキルスルホ琥珀酸
塩、Ｎ−アルコイルサルコシン酸塩、及びアルファ−オ
レフィンスルホン酸塩、特にそれらのナトリウム、マグ
ネシウム、アンモニウム、並びにモノ−、ジ−及びトリ
エタノールアミン塩が挙げられる。アルキル基は、一般
に８〜１８個の炭素原子を含有し、不飽和であってもよ
い。アルキルエーテル硫酸塩は、１分子当たり１〜１０
個の酸化エチレン又は酸化プロピレン単位、好ましくは
２〜３個の酸化エチレン単位を含有する。
【００１２】好適な陰イオン界面活性剤の例としては、
ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム、オレイル琥珀酸ナトリウム、
ラウリルスルホ琥珀酸アンモニウム、ラウリル硫酸アン
モニウム、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、ド
デシルベンゼンスルホン酸トリエタノールアミン、及び
Ｎ−ラウリルサルコシン酸ナトリウムが挙げられる。最
も好ましい陰イオン界面活性剤は、ラウリル硫酸ナトリ
ウム、ラウリルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム２ＥＯ及び３Ｅ
Ｏ、ラウリル硫酸アンモニウム、並びにラウリルエーテ
ル硫酸アンモニウム１ＥＯ、２ＥＯ、及び３ＥＯであ
る。
【００１３】本発明の組成物中に用いるのに適した非イ
オン界面活性剤としては、脂肪族（Ｃ8 〜Ｃ18）第一又
は第二直鎖又は分枝鎖アルコール又はフェノールと、酸
化アルキレン、通常酸化エチレン、一般に６〜３０ＥＯ
との縮合物質が挙げられる。
【００１４】その他の好適な非イオン界面活性剤は、モ
ノ−又はジ−アルキルアルカノールアミド、又はアルキ
ルポリグリコシドである。その例としては、ココモノ−
又はジ−エタノールアミド、ココ モノ イソプロパノ
ールアミド、及びココ ジグリコシドが挙げられる。
【００１５】本発明の組成物中に用いるのに適した両性
界面活性剤としては、アルキルアミン酸化物、アルキル
ベタイン、アルキルアミドプロピルベタイン、アルキル
モノ−又はジアルカノールアミド、アルキルスルホベタ
イン、アルキルグリシン酸塩、及びアルキルカルボキシ
グリシン酸塩が挙げられるが、ここでアルキル基は８〜
１８個の炭素原子を有する。これらの例としては、ラウ
リルアミンオキシド、ココモノエタノールアミド、ココ
ジエタノールアミド、ココアミドプロピルベタイン、コ

量％を超えても、洗浄力や発泡能力が更に増大するとい
うことはない。
【００１８】（ｂ）シリコーン 本発明のシャンプー組成物はさらに、ポリアルキルシロ
キサン、ポリアルキルアリールシロキサン、又はその混
合物であり得る、不溶性不揮発性シリコーンを含有す
る。シリコーンは、シャンプーのマトリックス中では不
溶性である必要がある。
【００１９】好適なポリアルキルシロキサンとしては、
２５℃で５〜１００，０００センチストークスの粘度を
有するポリジメチルシロキサンが挙げられる。これらの
シロキサンは、ＶｉｓｃａｓｉｌシリーズとしてＧｅｎ

【００２１】本発明のシャンプー組成物中に用い得るポ
リアルキルアリールシロキサンは、２５℃で１５〜６５

た不溶性不揮発性シリコーンの例としては、Ｄｏｗ Ｃ
ｏｒｎｉｎｇから販売されているＤＣ ９２９のような
ポリアミノ官能性シリコーンがある。

ＢＹ２２−００７又はＢＹ２２ー０２２のようなプレフ
ォーム乳濁液として加えてもよい。
【００２６】本発明のシャンプー組成物は、０．０１〜
１０重量％、好ましくは０．５〜５重量％の不溶性不揮
発性シリコーンを含有する。組成物中に０．０１重量％
未満存在する場合はコンディショニング効果は殆ど観察
されず、１０重量％を超える場合、毛髪はベタつくよう
になる。
【００２７】（ｃ）懸濁化ポリマー 本発明の組成物は、ポリアクリル酸、アクリル酸の架橋
ポリマー、アクリル酸と疎水性モノマーとのコポリマ
ー、カルボン酸含有モノマーとアクリルエステルのコポ
リマー、アクリル酸とアクリル酸エステルの架橋コポリ
マー、及びヘテロ多糖ゴムから選択される０．１〜５重
量％、好ましくは０．２〜３重量％の懸濁化ポリマー
（suspending polymer）を含有する。
【００２８】ポリアクリル酸は、Ｃａｒｂｏｐｏｌ ４
２０、Ｃａｒｂｏｐｏｌ４８８又はＣａｒｂｏｐｏｌ
４９３（Ｇｏｏｄｒｉｃｈ）として市販されている。本
発明のシャンプー組成物中に用いるのに適した多官能剤
により架橋されるアクリル酸のポリマーとしては、Ｃａ
ｒｂｏｐｏｌ ９１０、Ｃａｒｂｏｐｏｌ９３４、Ｃａ
ｒｂｏｐｏｌ ９４０及びＣａｒｂｏｐｏｌ ９４１
（Ｇｏｏｄｒｉｃｈ）として市販されているものが挙げ
られる。
【００２９】カルボン酸含有モノマーとアクリルエステ
ルの好適なコポリマーの例としては、Ｃａｒｂｏｐｏｌ
１３４２（Ｇｏｏｄｒｉｃｈ）がある。アクリル酸と
アクリル酸エステルの好適な架橋ポリマーは、Ｐｅｍｕ
ｌｅｎ ＴＲ１ 又はＰｅｍｕｌａｎ ＴＲ２である。
好適なヘテロ多糖ゴムは、キサンタンゴム、例えばＫｅ
ｌｚａｎ ｍｕとして販売されているものである。
【００３０】懸濁化ポリマーは、一般に、シャンプー中
で負電荷を有し、コイルがほどけて、伸びた構造を有す
る。懸濁化ポリマーは本発明のシャンプーを安定化し、
二酸化チタン被覆雲母が沈殿するのを防ぎ、放置により
シリコーンが上部でクリーム状にならないようにする。
【００３１】（ｄ）二酸化チタン被覆雲母 本発明のシャンプー組成物は、二酸化チタン被覆雲母の

２，５１５号に記載された陽イオンセルロースエーテル
が挙げられるが、これらはＰｏｌｙｍｅｒ ＪＲとして
Ｕｎｉｏｎ ＣａｒｂｉｄｅＣｏｒｐｏｒａｔｉｏｎか
ら市販されている。その他の好適な物質は、米国特許第
４，２９８，４９４号に記載されている陽イオンポリガ
ラクトマンナンゴム誘導体であって、Ｊａｇｕａｒの商
標でＣｅｌａｎｅｓｅ−ＳｔｅｉｎＨａｌｌから市販さ
れている。好適な物質の例は、ＣＴＦＡ指定塩化グアー
ヒドロキシプロピルトリモニウムを有し、Ｊａｇｕａｒ
Ｃ１３Ｓという名前で販売されていて、陽イオン基の
置換度は約０．１３である。その他の好適な物質として
は、ヒドロキシプロピル置換基並びに陽イオン第四アン
モニウム基を含有するヒドロキシプロピル化陽イオング
アー誘導体であるＪａｇｕａｒ Ｃ１７（置換度 約
０．２５〜０．３１）、及びＪａｇｕａｒ Ｃ１６とし
て公知のものが挙げられる。Ｊａｇｕａｒ Ｃ１６で
は、置換度は０．１１〜０．１６であって、ヒドロキシ
プロピル基の置換モル数は０．８〜１．１である。
【００３６】本発明のシャンプーに有用なその他の陽イ
オンコンディショニング剤としては、米国特許第４，０
８０，３１０号に記載の低分子アジピン酸／ジエチレン
−トリアミン ポリアミドのような陽イオンポリアミド
ポリマー及び硫酸ジメチルで第四級化されたジメチルア
ミノエチルメタクリレートとビニルピロリドンとのコポ
リマー（Ｇａｆｇｕａｔ ７５５，ＧＡＦ Ｃｏｒｐｏ
ｒａｔｉｏｎ）；米国特許第４，０４８，３０１号に記
載のＮ−ビニルピロリドン、ジメチルアモノエチルメタ
クリレート及びポリエチレングリコールを含有するグラ
フト陽イオンコポリマー；米国特許第４，００９，２５
６号に記載の３〜５個の炭素原子を有する不飽和カルボ
ン酸のホモ−及びコポリマーのアミノ−アルキルエステ
ルの鉱酸塩；米国特許第３，１８６，９１１号に記載の
エーテル化デンプンのポリマーが挙げられる。
【００３７】Ｍｅｒｇｕａｔの商標でＭｅｒｃｋ＆Ｃ
ｏ．Ｉｎｃ．，から販売されている高分子量ポリマー
も、本発明のシャンプーに用いるのに適している陽イオ
ンポリマーである。代表的なものとしては、Ｍｅｒｇｕ
ａｔ １００（高荷電陽イオン性塩化ジメチルジアリル
アンモニウム ホモポリマー）、及びＭｅｒｇｕａｔ
５５０（塩化ジメチルジアリルアンモニウム及びアクリ
ルアミドにより調製される高荷電陽イオン性コポリマ
ー）がある。これらの物質は、ＣＦＴＡ辞書では、それ
ぞれＱｕａｔｅｒｎｉｕｍ−４０及びＱｕａｔｅｒｎｉ
ｕｍ−４１と命名されている。
【００３８】陽イオン界面活性剤、例えばモノ−、ジ−
及びトリ−アルキル第四アンモニウム塩も、本発明のシ
ャンプー中で陽イオンコンディショニング剤として用い
得る。好適な例は、塩化セチルトリメチルアンモニウ
ム、臭化セチルトリメチルアンモニウム、及び塩化ステ
アリルトリメチルアンモニウムである。
【００３９】陽イオンコンディショニング剤は、好まし
くは０．０１〜５重量％、最も好ましくは０．２〜３重
量％の量で、本発明のシャンプー組成物中に存在する。
【００４０】その他の真珠光沢剤 本発明のシャンプーはさらに、二酸化チタン被覆雲母に
加えて真珠光沢剤を任意的に含有する。その他の真珠光
沢剤の例としては、シャンプーの０．０１〜２０重量
％、好ましくは０．０１〜０．５重量％の量の、エチレ
ングリコールモノステアレート、エチレングリコールジ
ステアレート、ポリエチレングリコールジステアレート
（特にＰＥＧ−３ジステアレート）、及びその混合物が
挙げられる。
【００４１】上記で例示したような真珠光沢剤の使用に
ついて先に言及した欠点は、二酸化チタン被覆雲母が主
要真珠光沢剤として存在する場合には、殆ど解消され
る。
【００４２】フケ防止剤 本発明のシャンプーはさらに、ピリチオン亜鉛、１−ヒ
ドロキシ−２−ピリドン（好適例がＯｃｔｏｐｉｒｏｘ
である）、及びその混合物から選択されるフケ防止剤
を、シャンプーの０．０１〜２０重量％、好ましくは
０．１〜１０重量％の量で、任意的に含有する。
【００４３】その他の成分 本発明のシャンプーはさらに、微量のその他の成分、例
えば抗菌剤、起泡増進剤、真珠箔、香料、染料、着色
剤、防腐剤、増粘剤、蛋白質、ポリマー、燐酸エステ
ル、及び緩衝剤を含有してもよい。
【００４４】本組成物の使用法 本発明の組成物は、シャンプーとして用いるよう意図さ
れる。毛髪を通常の方法で湿らせ、シャンプー組成物
（一般に約５ｍｌの量）を湿った髪に適用し、こすって
泡立てる。泡を洗い流し、必要により、シャンプーを再
び同様に適用する。

    重量％の懸濁化ポリマー；並びに （ｄ）０．０１〜５重量％の二酸化チタン被覆雲母を含

    酸ナトリウム２ＥＯ、ラウリルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム
    ３ＥＯ、ラウリル硫酸アンモニウム、ラウリルエーテル
    硫酸アンモニウム１ＥＯ、ラウリルエーテル硫酸アンモ
    ニウム２ＥＯ、ラウリルエーテル硫酸アンモニウム３Ｅ
    Ｏ、又はその混合物から選択される請求項１に記載のシ
    ャンプー組成物。
  3. 【請求項３】両性界面活性剤がＣ8-18アルキルアミドプ
    ロピルベタイン、Ｃ8-18アルキルベタイン、Ｃ8-18アル
    キルモノ−又はジ−アルカノールアミド、及びその混合
    物から選択される請求項１に記載のシャンプー組成物。
  4. 【請求項４】両性界面活性剤がココベタインである請求
    項３に記載のシャンプー組成物。
  5. 【請求項５】不溶性、不揮発性シリコーンがポリアルキ
    ルシロキサン、ポリアルキルアリールシロキサン、及び
    その混合物から成る群から選択される請求項１〜４のい
    ずれかに記載のシャンプー組成物。
  6. 【請求項６】不溶性、不揮発性シリコーンがポリジメチ
    ルシロキサン、ポリメチルフェニルシロキサン、及びそ
    の混合物から成る群から選択される請求項５に記載のシ
    ャンプー組成物。
  7. 【請求項７】二酸化チタン被覆雲母が直径２〜１５０μ
    ｍの平均粒子サイズを有する請求項１〜６のいずれかに
    記載のシャンプー組成物。
  8. 【請求項８】陽イオンコンディショニング剤をさらに含
    有する請求項１〜７のいずれかに記載のシャンプー組成
    物。
  9. 【請求項９】陽イオンコンディショニング剤が０．０１
    〜５重量％の量で存在する請求項８に記載のシャンプー
    組成物。
  10. 【請求項１０】陽イオンコンディショニング剤が陽イオ
    ンセルロース誘導体、陽イオングアーゴム誘導体及びそ
    の混合物から選択される請求項８又は請求項９に記載の
    シャンプー組成物。
  11. 【請求項１１】陽イオングアーゴム誘導体が塩化グアー
    ヒドロキシプロピルトリモニウムである請求項８〜１０
    のいずれかに記載のシャンプー組成物。
  12. 【請求項１２】エチレングリコールモノ−ステアレー
    ト、エチレングリコールジ−ステアレート、ポリエチレ
    ングリコールジ−ステアレート、及びその混合物から選
    択される真珠光沢剤をさらに含有する請求項１〜１１の
    いずれかに記載のシャンプー組成物。
  13. 【請求項１３】ピリチオン亜鉛、１−ヒドロキシ−２−
    ピリドン及びその混合物から成る群から選択されるフケ
