Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は使い捨ておむつや衛生ナプキンの様な
吸収性製品、特に、圧縮材でできた離散部分が提
供される様に片面か両面がエンボスされた吸収性
製品に関する。
従来、使い捨ておむつ、衛生ナプキン、パツド
等の吸収性製品は様々な製法で作られており、片
面か両面がエンボスされていた。エンボスのパタ
ーンは一般には、おむつの硬性を高めるためであ
り、普通、おむつの相当部分を占めている。即
ち、おむつの表面の大部分はエンボスされてお
り、全吸収性パツドは部分的に圧縮されていた。
従来のエンボスされている使い捨ておむつでは液
の分散は高められておらず、また、にじみ
（Wetback）も減少していない。
本発明は裏シート；該裏シート上の、吸収性材
料でできた吸収性パツド；該パツドの上に重なつ
ている表シート；からなり、 該パツドの両面をエンボスにより圧縮して形成
した凹み及びその凹みによつて形成された被圧縮
化部分が該パツドの両面の縦及び横方向に間隔を
隔てて多数個形成され、前記凹み及び被圧縮化部
分がエンボスにより形成された面の反対面に対応
する箇所には凹みが施されていなく、各被圧縮化
部分のサイズは実質的に0.13cm2であり、最隣接す
る被圧縮化部分の中心間間隔が実質的に0.32cmで
あり、被圧縮化部分の密度が実質的に0.22ｇ／c.c.
である、吸収性製品を提供するものである。本発
明では、被圧縮化部分が存在するため排出液の拡
散を充分に行うことができ、にじみを抑えること
ができる。
本発明では従来のおむつの欠点が解消されてお
り、より良好な液分散性が与えられており、従来
のおむつや衛生ナプキンに比べて追加の吸収材を
必要とせずともにじみは減じている。
本発明の実施においては吸収材を表シートと裏
シートの間に挿む。この吸収材は木材フラフ等で
できている。本発明の吸収性製品は片面か両面が
エンボスされており、このため、吸収材は比較的
高度に圧縮されて離散部分を形成している部分
と、実質上圧縮されていない他部分とに分かれ
る。離散している被圧縮部分は液分散性が強く、
にじみは減つている。
添付図面の第４図には、ポリエチレンフイルム
等の液不浸透性材でできた裏シート１１２を有す
る吸収性製品１１０が示されている。この裏シー
ト１１２上には木材フラフ製パツドの様な吸収材
１１４が配置されている。吸収材１１４の上に位
置するのは表シート１１６であり、これはポリエ
チレンやポリプロピレン繊維で作られた不織疎水
材で構成されていることが好ましい。
第５図に示された態様２１０では裏シート２１
２、表シート２１６が共にエンボスされて吸収性
パツド２１４と、それぞれ離散している被圧縮化
部分２１８，２２０を形成している。
添付図面において、同一の参照番号は同一部分
をさす。
参照番号１０は一般に本発明の吸収性製品をさ
す。この吸収性製品は手当用品、衛生ナプキン、
使い捨ておむつ等であり、図示されているのは使
い捨ておむつである。
裏シート１２上にあるのは木材フラフ等で形成
された吸収材１４である。吸収材１４の上にある
のが、ポリエチレンやポリプロピレンの繊維等の
不織疎水材でできていることが好ましい表シート
１６である。
おしめの形をしている吸収性製品１０は弾性化
された部分を有する。又は有しないふち取り付き
おむつやひだの付いた箱形おむつでよい。この吸
収性製品は少くとも股部分がエンボスされて、離
散している高度に圧縮されている部分１８と、該
製品の残部を形成している圧縮されていない部分
とを形成している。該離散部分１８はエンボス部
分２０の下になる。
第２図に示される如く、これら部分２０′は断
面が環形であることが好ましく、或は、第３図に
示される如く、これら部分２０″は断面が矩形や
正方形でもよい。別法として、いかなる適当な幾
何学的形状もいづれの便利ないし所望のパターン
で使用できる。
本発明の吸収性製品の製造においては吸収材１
４を連続フイルムシートに噴霧その他の方法で付
与する。ついで表シート１６をその材料の連続シ
ートとして付与し、ついで集成体をエンボス付与
用ローラ又は板でエンボス化し、ついで切断して
一定形状とする。
被圧縮化部分１８のサイズは実質的に0.13cm2で
ある。
高度被圧縮化部分１８の存在が液の拡散に好ま
しく、おむつの乾燥を高める。同一量の吸収材を
使用しても、本発明によれば前記最適パラメータ
で液拡散能は８％以上高まり、液分散能は15％高
まり、液にじみ特性はそれ以上に減じている。
最隣接する被圧縮化部分１８の中心間の距離は
実質的に0.32cmである。
パツドの形でもよい吸収材の密度は圧縮されて
おらず、エンボスされていないならば0.06〜0.12
ｇ／c.c.であり、圧縮されていない部分の最適密度
は0.09ｇ／cm3である。
被圧縮化部分の密度は実質的に0.22ｇ／c.c.であ
る。
離散している高密度化部分１８はおむつその他
の吸収性製品の被エンボス化表面の10〜80％をし
める。好ましい範囲は15〜60％である。更に好ま
しくは20〜30％である。離散してる高密度化部分
が占める被エンボス化表面の最適部分は26％であ
る。
高密度化部分は環形が好ましいが、いづれの幾
何学的ないし非幾何学的形状も、パターンも選択
できる。
本発明の一特徴は、本発明による被エンボス化
パツドをその上か下のエンボス化された又はエン
ボス化されていない別のパツドと共に使用できる
ことである。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 裏シート；該裏シート上の、吸収性材料でで
    きた吸収性パツド；該パツドの上に重なつている
    表シート；からなり、 該パツドの両面をエンボスにより圧縮して形成
    した凹み及びその凹みによつて形成された被圧縮
    化部分が該パツドの両面の縦及び横方向に間隔を
    隔てて多数個形成され、前記凹み及び被圧縮化部
    分がエンボスにより形成された面の反対面に対応
    する箇所には凹みが施されていなく、各被圧縮化
    部分のサイズは実質的に0.13cm2であり、最隣接す
    る被圧縮化部分の中心間の距離が実質的に0.32cm
    であり、被圧縮化部分の密度が実質的に0.22ｇ／
    c.c.である、 吸収性製品。 ２ 該吸収性材料が木材フラフである、特許請求
