Description
込むのに使用される非常に色々な移植片が既に公知に成
っている。大きなものには股関節用人工補整器が属し、
小さなものには人造歯を形成する為に顎にねじ込む鋲が
属する。
たはジルコニウムから成るかまたはニオブから成るかま
たはタンタルより成るかまたは、主要成分がこれらの元
素の一つである組織親和性のある合金より成る。これら
全ての移植片の場合には、骨物質が移植片表面と迅速に
且つ耐久的に結合することを可能とする必要な手段を講
するという問題がある。これは、移植片の固定、また骨
の同化と呼ばれている。
1987年11月17日にベルリンで報告された概要に
は、以下のことが記載されている:“引張強度試験およ
び組織形成学的研究の組合せにおいて、滑らかなチタン
移植片を骨の中に張力の掛り得る界面に配置できないこ
とが判った。機械的固定によって引張強度のある骨−移
植片−結合を生ぜしめる為に、20μ僧より大きい表面
の粗面化が必要とされる。−様な幾何学的表面模型およ
び一様でない多孔質構造は骨とチタンとの界面の引張強
度が特に追加的に砂吹き処理した場合に改善され得る。
被覆するかまたは砂吹き処理または細かいネジ山を切る
ことによって粗面化を達成するのが一般的である。この
ように処理された表面の欠点についての知見は、骨と移
植片との良好な結合を得る為にこの種の表面の粗面化が
必要であるのだが、被覆する場合と同様に広く知られて
いる。この欠点は実質的に、機械的に脆弱な血漿層が剥
離または破裂する傾向を有することおよび吹付剤で粗面
化されている表面が吹付材(大抵は鋼玉)によって汚さ
れることである。表面を殺菌剤、例えばHF+1lNO
3で続いて浄化しそして明るくする試みは、移植片の表
面での成長および骨物質の固定に非常に悪いという結果
がでている。

ミクロ構造が原因と成っていることが判った。還元性の
酸中でのこのエツチング処理は吹付は処理後に実施例し
てもよい。従って表面に吹き付けられる剤の粒子を落と
しそしてその表面が、10μm以上の孔の大きさを持1

様にこの特別な表面構造は金属の集塊状態で成形されそ

使用される。これらの金属は耐食性があり且つ生きた組
織において不活性の挙動を示す。即ち、異物反応が生じ
ない。ジルコニウムおよびニオブが同様に組織との親和
性があることも公知である。整形外科用移植片は高い機
械的強度の金属を使用する。この目的の為の新規の材料
は、スイス国特許第539.118号明細書に記載され
ているような組成を有している。特に有利な合金は例え
ばTi7Nb6A 1、Ti5Aj!2.5Fe 、
Ti15Mo5Zr3A!(数字は合金成分の重量%
を示している)である。これら金属全てにとって、表面

Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1)多孔質の表面を持つ、骨中に差し込む特定の移植片
において、表面が2μm以下の大きさの孔を持つミクロ
粗面を持つことを特徴とする、上記移植片。 2)チタンまたはチタン−ベースの合金より成る請求項
1に記載の移植片。 3)ジルコニウム、ニオブ、タンタルまたはこれらの元
素の一種類を主成分とする合金で形成されている請求項
1に記載の移植片。 4)2μm以下のミクロ粗面が10μmより大きい、殊
に20μmより大きい表面孔を持つマクロ粗面と重なり
合っている請求項1〜3の何れか一つに記載の移植片。 5)請求項1に記載の移植片を製造するに当たって、移
植片を形成する為に用いる金属製物体に、ミクロ粗面を
形成するために還元性酸を作用させることを特徴とする
、上記移植片の製造方法。 6)還元性酸としてHClまたは肝または、HClとH
_2SO_4との混合物を用いる請求項4に記載の方法
。 7)還元性酸を煮沸状態で用いる請求項5または6項に
記載の方法。
