Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［発明の目的］ 〈産業上の利用分野） 本発明はビデオテックスシステムの利用者端末装置等に
好適の画像表示用通信端末装置に関する。
（従来の技術） 情報提供者から供給されるデータを情報センターのセン
ターコンピュータに蓄積し、利用者端末からのリクエス
トにより、蓄積された情報を利用者に提供するビデオテ
ックスシステムが酋及している。このビデオテックスシ
ステムにおいては、電話回線を伝送媒体として画像用の
データを伝送している。
このビデオテックスシステムの利用者端末装置として採
用される従来の画像表示用通信端末装置においては、対
話形式により情報センターと送受信を行う。ユーザーは
キーボードを操作してダイヤルすると共に検索情報等を
送出する。このキー操作は入力制御部によってデコード
されて制御部に与えられる。制御部はこのキー人力デー
タに基づいて各種制御を行っている。
ユーザーは、先ず、情報セン、ターとの回線接続を指示
する。これにより、１ｉ（ｌ　８部は回線シ１１御部を
制御して情報センターとの回線接続を行わせる。
次いで、ユーザーはキーボードから検索情報を入力して
所望のｌｉ！ｉ像データの転送を要求する。この検索情
報は変復調部で変調され、回線制御部から電話回線を介
して情報センターに送信される。情報センターには、各
種情報の画像が蓄積されており、情報センターは検索情
報に基づいた画像データを電話回線及び回線制御部を介
して変Ｗ調回路に伝送する。変復調回路は画像データを
復調して制御部に与える。
制御部はこのデータを所定の通信ブ０トコルに従ってデ
コードして画像データに変換し、表示制御部を介して画
ｍＲＡＭに書込む。表示制御部は、この画像データをラ
スクスキャンに同期させて両ｌｌｌＲＡＭから読出して
テレビジョン受像機等に画像を表示させる。
このように、先ず情報センターと回線接続する。
その後、対話形式により情報センターと送受信を行って
画像データを得る。すなわち、端末側は検索情報を情報
センターに送信し、情報センターは検索情報に基づく画
像データを送信するようになつでいる。検索方法として
は、画面の番号を直接指定する直接検索の外に、情報セ
ンターから伝送される画面の案内に従ってツリー形式で
画面を読出す方法等がある。この方法では、所望の両面
を得るまでに比較的多くの画面を表示させることになる
。
したがって、ユーザーは、電源をオンにする度にこれら
の比較的煩雑な回線接続及び一連の両面検索操作を行な
って所望の画面を得なければならない。特に、停電等に
よって、情報検索の途中で端末装置のＴｉ源がオフにな
ってしまった場合等には、電源オフ直前の画面に復帰さ
せるために、これらの一連の操作を再痕繰返す必要があ
り極めて煩雑である。直接検索のための画面番号を忘れ
てしまうこともあり、電源オフ直前の画面に復帰するま
でに長時間を要してしまう。
（発明が解決しようとする課題） このように、上述した従来の画像表示用通信端末装置に
おいては、電源オフ直前の画面を表示させるために、煩
雑で長時間を要する一連の操作を行わなければならない
という問題点があった。
本発明はかかる問題点に鑑みてなされたものであって、
電源をオンにした後の比較的短時間で電源オフの直前の
状態に復帰することができる画像表示用通信端末装置を
提供づることを目的とする。
［発明の構成］ （課題を解決するための手段） 本発明に係る画像表示用通信端末装置は、情報提供装置
に検索情報を送出すると共に、この検索情報に基づいて
送出された画像データを受信して表示画面に画像を表示
する画像表示用通信端末装置において、前記画像データ
の受信毎に画像データに含まれる画面番号データを記憶
する不揮発性の記憶手段と、ユーザー操作に基づいて前
記記憶手段から画面番号データを読出し、検索情報とし
て情報提供装置に送出する復帰手段とを具備したもので
ある。
（作用） 本発明において、復帰手段は、記憶手段に格納されてい
る画面番号データを検索情報として情報提供装置に送出
する。記憶手段は、画像データの受信毎に画面番号デー
タを記憶しており、復１帯手段が送出する検索情報は、
前回の情報提供装置との接続時の最後の画面を示してお
り、したがって、電源オフ直前の状態に短時間で復帰す
る。
（実施例） 以下、図面に基づいて本発明の実施例を詳細に説明づる
。第１図は本発明に係る画像表示用通信端末装置の一実
施例を示すブロック図である。
制御部１は、キー人力データに基づいてシーケンスの移
行及び情報センターへの画面検索情報の送信処理等を行
うと共に、受信データを所定の通信プロトコルに従って
デコードして画像データに変換する。変復調部２は所定
のフォーマットに従って変復調を行う。回線制御部３は
υ制御部１に制御１１されて、通常は図示しない電話機
に接続されている電話回線４を使用して図示しない情報
センターとの回線接続を行うようになっている。
キーボード５は図示しない数字キー、文字キー及び復帰
キー等を備え、ユーザーのキー操作に阜づいた信号を入
力制御部６に出力する。入力制御部６はこの信号をデコ
ードしてキー人力データをｍ１ｌｌ　’ｍ部１に出力す
るようになっている。表示υＪｔ２１１部７は、画像Ｒ
ＡＭ８を制御しており、制御部１がデコードした画像デ
ータを画像ＲＡＭ８に記憶させる。また、表示制御部７
は、受像管９のラスクスキャンに同期して画（ｌｌＲＡ
Ｍ８からデータを読出して画像を画面上に表示させるよ
うになっている。
本実施例においては、不揮発性メモリ１０が設けられて
いる。受信データには画面番号を示すデータが含まれて
おり、不揮発性メモリ１０にはデータを受信する毎に画
面番号データが格納される。制御部１は、画面データを
受信すると、ヘッダ部に含まれる画面番号データを読出
して不揮発性メモリ１０に記憶させる。また、制御部１
は、キーボード５の復帰キーが操作されると、オートダ
イヤルすることにより情報センターと回線接続し、更に
、不揮発性メモリ１０に格納された画面番号データを検
索情報として情報センターに送信させるようになってい
る。
次に、このように構成された画像表示用通信端末装置の
動作について第２図のフローチャート及び第３図の説明
図を参照して説明する。
先ず、第２図のステップＳ１において、制御部１はユー
ザーのキー操作によってダイヤルスタートが指示された
か否かを判断する。ユーザーが情報センターとの回線接
続を行うために、キーボード５のダイヤルキーを操作す
ると、制御部１には入力１ｉｌＩＩＯ部６を介してダイ
ヤルデータが与えられる。これにより、制御部１は次の
ステップＳ２で回線制御部３を制御して、図示しないダ
イヤル発信回路から回線接続のための信号を出力させる
。
これに対し、情報センターからは応答信号が伝送されて
情報センターとの回線接続が完了する（ステップ３３）
。
次のステップＳ４では、制御部１はキー人力の有無を判
断する。このステップ＄４はユーザーのキー人力に対す
る待機状態を示しており、キー人力が発生すると処理を
ステップＳ５に移行する。
ステップＳ５ではキー人力データが終了キーを示してい
るか否かを判断する。終了キーが操作されている場合に
は、ステップ８１０で回線接続断にしてステップＳ１に
処理を戻す。終了キーでない場合には、ステップＳ６で
ユーザーのキー操作に基づくデータを変復調部２に与え
る。変復調部２はこのデータを変調し回線制御部３を介
して情報センターに送信する。
情報センターは伝送される検索情報に基づいた画像デー
タを送信する。この画像データは回線制御部３を介して
変復調部２に与えられ、変復調部２で復調されτ制ｍ＋
都１に与えられる。
制御部１は次のステップＳ７で所定の通信ブＯトコルに
従って受信データをデコード処理し、表示制御部７を介
して画！＆ＲＡＭ８に転送して格納する。表示制御部７
は画像ＲＡＭ８の画像データを読出して受像管９に与え
、第３図に示す画面を表示させる。第３図に示ずように
、画面は画面番号等が表示されるヘッダ部１１と番組の
文字等が表示される表示部１２とにより構成されており
、ヘッダ部１１には画面番号エリア１３が設けられてい
る。
この画面番号エリア１３には番組の画面番号が表示され
る。制御部１は、この画面番号を次のステップＳ８にお
いて受信データのヘッダ部から読出し、ステップＳ９で
不揮発性メモリ１０に格納している。
次に、キー人力が発生して、情報センターから次の画面
のデータが送信されると、制御部１は、このデータにつ
いてもステップ３８　、Ｓ９で画面番号を不揮発性メモ
リ１０に格納する。こうして、不揮発性メ７Ｅす１０に
は表示中の画面の画面番号データが格納される。
ここで、端末装置の電源がオフになり、その後、再度電
源をオンにするものとする。電源オフ直前の画面を表示
させようとする場合には、ユーザーはキーボード５に配
設された復帰キーを操作する。
制御部１は、ステップ８１１において復帰キーが操作さ
れたか否かを判断している。復帰キーが操作されない場
合には、制御部１は電源オン後に処理をステップＳ１に
移行して前述したステップＳ１乃至８１０の通常の動作
フローを行う。この場合には、復帰キーが操作されてお
り、次のステップ３１２に処理を移行する。ステップ８
１２では情報センターへのオートダイヤルが行われ、次
のステップ３１３で情報センターとの回線接続が完了す
る。
次いで、ステップＳ１４において、制御部１は不揮発性
メモリ１０に格納された最終の画面番号データ（電源オ
フ時に表示されていた画面の画面番号データ）を読出し
て、検索情報として情報センターに送信する。情報セン
ターはこの検索情報に基づいて、電源オフ直前に表示さ
れていた画面データを送出する。以後、処理をステップ
Ｓ７に移行して、同様の動作を繰り返す。
このように、本実施例においては、表示中の画面の画面
番号データを不揮発性メモリ１０に記憶させ、電源オン
後に復帰キーを操作することにより、電源オフ時の画面
番号データを読出して検索情報として送信するようにし
ており、煩雑な操作を必要とすることなく短期間に電源
オフ直前の状態に復帰させている。
［発明の効果］ 以上説明したように本発明によれば、煩雑な操作を必要
とすることなく、電源オフ直前の画面を短時間で表示さ
せることができるという効果を有する。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 情報提供装置に検索情報を送出すると共に、この検索情
    報に基づいて送出された画像データを受信して表示画面
    に画像を表示する画像表示用通信端末装置において、 前記画像データの受信毎に画像データに含まれる画面番
    号データを記憶する不揮発性の記憶手段と、 ユーザー操作に基づいて前記記憶手段から画面番号デー
    タを読出し、検索情報として情報提供装置に送出する復
    帰手段とを具備したことを特徴とする画像表示用通信端
    末装置。
