Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、電子体温計に関するものである。
現在、サーミスタ、IC温度センサ等を用いて
体温をデジタル表示する電子体温計が市販されて
いる。これらはいずれも、手動によつて操作され
る電源スイツチを有しており、昔ながらの水銀を
用いた体温計を使い慣れた人にとつては使い勝手
が悪く、この電源スイツチを入れ忘れたり、切り
忘れたりすることが、往々にしてあつた。
そこで本発明は、水銀スイツチを用いることに
よつて、使用時は電源を入れる操作が不要で、測
定終了後は、体温計を振ることによつて電源を切
るという、昔ながらの水銀体温計と同じ要領で使
うことのできる、使い勝手の知れた電子体温計を
提供するものである。
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明
する。
第１図において、１は体温をデジタル表示する
表示部、２は測温部で、その内部には第２図のよ
うに、リングオシレータ等のIC温度センサある
いはサーミスタ等の温度センサ３を設けてあると
ともに、水銀スイツチ４を設けてある。水銀スイ
ツチ４は、測温部先端側に水銀溜４ａを有してお
り、ここから細管４ｂを延出してある。細管４ｂ
の先端側には一対の接点４ｃ，４ｃを対向させて
あり、例えば35℃において細管４ｂ内を浸透した
水銀によつて導通するように設定してある。
なお、測温部２内には、熱伝導率の良い非導電
性物質、例えばアルミナ、セラミツク等の粉末を
混入した接着剤等を充填してある。
第３図において、５は体温測定回路で、温度セ
ンサ３からの出力によつて体温を測定するもので
ある。６はタイマ回路で、電源投入から、例えば
30分後に出力を生じるものである。７はフリツプ
フロツプ回路、８は電源スイツチを構成するアナ
ログスイツチである。９はインバータ、１０は微
分回路、１１はゲート回路である。
つぎに動作について説明する。
測温部２を口中あるいは脇の下に当てると、温
度センサ３および水銀スイツチ４に体温が伝達さ
れ、細管４ｂ中を水銀が浸透していく。35℃にな
ると接点４ｃ，４ｃ間が導通し、第３図示の水銀
スイツチ４が閉じる。これによつて、フリツプフ
ロツプ回路７がトリガされ、アナログスイツチ８
がオンになつて、体温測定回路５等に電源が供給
される。こうして体温が測定・表示されるととも
に、タイマ回路６がスタートする。
体温測定が終了したら、従来の水銀体温計と同
様に、測温部２側を振ることにより、細管４ｂ内
の水銀を水銀溜４ａに戻す。これによつて、水銀
スイツチ４がオフになり、微分回路１０から１パ
ルスが発生してフリツプフロツプ回路７がリセツ
トされる。そのためアナログスイツチ８がオフに
なり、電源供給が遮断される。
ところで、体温測定終了後体温計を振るのを忘
れた場合などには、電源が入つたままとなつてし
まう。この場合には、タイマ回路６から30分後に
出力が生じ、フリツプフロツプ回路７がリセツト
されて電源が遮断されるものである。この後で体
温計を使う場合には、一旦これを振つて水銀を水
銀溜４ａに戻した後に測定を行なうものである。
以上のように本発明によれば、昔ながらの水銀
体温計と全く同じ使い勝手で体温測定が行なえ、
非常に使い易いものになるとともに、電源の入れ
忘れ、切り忘れをなくすことができる。しかも水
銀スイツチを切り忘れたときにもタイマ回路によ
つて一定時間後に自動的に電源が切れるため、水
銀スイツチを切り忘れても無駄な電力消費を最少
限に抑えることができる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 温度センサを内蔵した測温部と、 この測温部内に設けた水銀溜と、 この水銀溜から延出した細管と、 この細管の先端側に設けてあり所定温度におい
    て上記細管内を浸透した水銀によつて導通する一
    対の接点と、 この接点の導通状態に応じて体温測定回路への
    電源の供給を制御する制御回路と、 この制御回路によつて電源を供給され一定時間
    を計時したときに上記制御回路による電源供給を
    禁止せしめるタイマ回路とからなる電子体温計。
