Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〈産業上の利用分野〉 本発明は、包装フィルムを製袋用円筒体で筒状に形成し
ながら所定長さ宛間欠的に繰り出し、該筒状の包装フィ
ルム内に被包装物を充填せしめ、対向する一対の横シー
ル機の閉動により筒状包装フィルムを挾み込んで幅方向
へ熱シールを施す製袋充填包装装置、詳しくは熱シール
後、包装フィルムのシール部を冷却するものに関する。
〈従来の技術〉 従来、この種の製袋充填包装装置として、例えば特開昭
50−78487号公報に開示される如く横シール機の
上方及び下方に吹出口を包装フィルムのシール部に向け
て夫々開設し、熱シール部表面にこれら吹出口から冷却
用のエアを吹き出すことにより該シール部を冷却させる
ものがある。
〈発明が解決しようとする課題〉 しかし乍ら、このような従来の製袋充填包装装置では、
各吹出口が横シール機の前後動の邪魔にならぬように横
シール機より離れた位置に配設されるため、シール部を
完全に冷却するには時間がかかって装置の高速化が望め
ないという問題があると共に、これを防止するために冷
却時間を短縮化すると冷却が不完全になり被包装物の千
Mが重い場合にはシール部が剥離するという問題がある
また、このものはシール部の表面に凹凸ができて外観が
劣るばかりでなくシール効果も更に低下するという問題
もある。
本発明は斯る従来事情に鑑み、熱シール後のシール部を
短時間で完全冷却すると共にシール部表面の凹凸発生を
防止することを目的とする。
〈課題を解決するための手段〉 上記課題を解決するために本発明が講する技術的手段は
、包装フィルム移送路の横シール機より上流側又は下流
側に対向する一対の冷却体を横シール機と別な駆動源で
開閉動自在に横設すると共に、横シール機の開切に伴っ
て包装フィルムのシール部を両冷却体問に移動させる移
送手段を設けたことを特徴とするものである。
そして、横シール機より上流側に一対の冷却体を開r+
A勤自在に横設し、移送手段が該冷却体の上流側に配設
され冷却体と連動して包装フィルム移送路へ出没するた
くし上げガイドであることが好ましい。
また、横シール機より下流側に一対の冷却体を開r看勤
自在に横設し、移送手段が製袋用円筒体の外周に配設し
た繰り出しベルトであって、シール部移動時に該繰り出
しベルトを包装フィルム繰り出し方向へ駆動させても良
い。
更にまた、横シール機より上流側に一対の冷却体を開閉
動自在に横設し、移動手段が製袋用円筒体の外周に配設
した繰り出しベルトであって、シール部移動時に該繰り
出しベルトを包装フィルム繰り出し方向と逆方向へ駆動
させても良い。
く作 用〉 本発明は上記技術的手段によれば、熱シール直後横シー
ル機の開動に伴い移送手段、詳しくはたくし上げガイド
を突出させるか繰り出しベルトを再駆動さVて両冷却体
問にシール部を位置せしめ、その侵これら冷却体を11
1動させてシール部を挾み込むことにより直接冷却せし
めるものである。
〈実施例〉 以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
この実施例は第1図に示す如く、各横シール機(3)に
シール面(3a)を包装フィルム繰り出し方向へ一対平
行に設け、一方の横シール機(3)の上下シール面(3
a)(3a)間にカッター(4)を包装フィルム移送路
(a)へ出没自在に配設したもので、製袋用円筒体(1
)の対向する両側外周に配設された2木の繰り出しベル
ト(2)(2)の駆動により例えばポリエチレン等の熱
可塑性合成樹脂製の包装フィルム(A)を円筒状に形成
しながら所定長さ宛間欠的に繰り出すと共に、両横シー
ル1m(3)(3)相互の閉動に伴って包装フィルム(
A)を挾み込むことにより、該フィルム(A)を幅方向
へ二ケ所平行に熱シール(AI )(A2 )を施して
袋体(A3 )(A4 )を形成し、これら上下シール
部(AI )(A2 )間にカッター(4)を突出させ
て切断分離する。
上記包装フィルム移送路(a)の両横シール機(3)(
3)より上流側又は下流側には該移送路を挾んで対向す
る一対の冷却体(5)(5)を横設する。
各冷却体(5)はその先端面に横シール機(3)のシー
ル面(3a)の横幅寸法と略同じ横寸法の平滑な冷却面
(5a)を鉛直状に形成し、内部に冷fJI水又は冷却
用エアが供給される通孔(5b)を冷却面(5a)に沿
って開設すると共に、両横シール機(3)(3)の駆動
源と別な駆動源(図示せず)により両横シール機(3H
3)の動作方向と同方向へ開開動自在に横設した一対の
移動体(6)(6’)に対して夫々冷却面(5a)が包
装フィルム移送路(a)側へ対面するように固定する。
本実施例ではこれら両冷却体(5)(5)が両横シール
I!1(3)(3)の上流側、即ち」一方に配設され、
各移動体(6)には包装フィルム移送路(a)側先端に
抑圧面(7a)が形成される上部クランプ(7)と、包
装フィルム移送路(a)側へ向うに従って漸次下流側へ
傾斜する被包装物受け(8)とを配設し、各移動体(6
)の往復動に伴って各上部クランプ(7)及び被包装物
受け(8)が相互に接離自在となると共に、初期状態で
−・方の冷却体(5)の冷却面(5a)を同じ移動体(
6)に配設した上部クランプ(7)の押圧面(1a)よ
り包装フィルム移送路(a)から後退させ、他方の冷却
面(5a)を同じ移動体(6)の押圧面(7a)と略同
−面に配置させている。
また、上記包装フィルム移送路(a)には包装フィルム
(A)の上流側に位置するシール部(A1)を冷却体(
5)(5)側へ移動させる移送手段が設けられる。
移送手段は本実施例の場合、包装フィルム移送路(a)
から後退させた一方の冷却体(5)の上流側に横設され
るたくし上げガイド(9)であり、これら一方の冷却体
(5)及びたくし上げガイド〈9)を上記両冷却体(5
)(5)の駆動源と別な例えばエアシリンダ等の駆動源
(10)により包装フィルム移送路(a)へ出没自在と
する。
たくし上げガイド(9)は上記冷却体(5)の冷却面(
5a)の横幅寸法と略同じ横幅寸法の帯板状に形成され
、その包装フィルム移送路(a)側の上下両面を該移送
路(a)側へ向うに従って漸次肉傳状になるようにテー
パー状に傾斜させると共に、先端縁(9a)を取付は状
態で後退させた一方の冷却体(5)の冷却面(5a)よ
り包装フィルム移送路(a)側へ突出させ、一方の上部
クランプ(7)の押圧面(7a)と略同−面状に配置し
ている。
たくし上げガイド(9)の内部には圧縮エアが供給され
る通気路(9b)を先端縁(9a)に沿って開設し、該
通気路(9b)から後退させた一方の冷に1体(5)の
冷却面(5a)前方へ向けて噴出孔(9C)を複数個開
穿する。
更に、前記各横シール機(3)の下流側には包装フィル
ム移送路(a)側先端に抑圧部(11a)が形成される
下部クランプ(11)を横シール機(3)(3)の動作
方向と同方向へ移動自在に配設し、該8押圧部(Ila
)がその最大突出時に各シール面(3a)より包装フィ
ルム移送路(a)側へ突出するように配置すると共に、
各抑圧部(11a)をスプリング等の弾性材(12)に
より常時包装フィルム移送路(a)側へ弾圧せしめる。
また、各押圧部(lla)内には冷却用エアが供給され
る通気路(11b)を開設し、該通気路(Ilb)から
下流側のシール面(3a)前方へ向けて吐出孔(11c
)を複数個開穿する。
次に、斯る製袋充填包装装置の作動について説明する。
先ず、自移動体(6H6)を相互に閉動させ上部クラン
プ(7)(7)の押圧面(7a)(7a)問に包装フィ
ルム(A>を移動不能に挟持した状態において、被包装
物(B)の充填を開始し、これを両袖包装物受け(8)
(8)により支持する(第1図)。
その後、自移動体(6)(6)を相互に開動して、上部
クランプ(7)(7)による挟持を開放さU、繰り出し
ベルト(2)(2)を駆動させて包装フィルム(A)を
所定長さ繰り出1(第2図)。
そして、包装フィルム(A>の繰り出しが終了すると、
両横シールIII(3)(3)を相互に開動して二ケ所
平行に熱シールすると共に、下部クランプ(it)(1
1)の押圧部(11a)(11a)間に下流側の袋体(
A4)を移動不能に挟持した後、カッター(4)を前進
させ上下の袋体(A3 )(A4 )を切断分離する。
また、これと同時又は終了模に自移動体(6)(6)を
相互に開動して上部クランプ(7)(7)の押圧面(7
a)(7a)間に上流側の袋体(A3)を移動不能に挟
持する(第3図)。
その後、両横シール機(3)(3)のfftl動を開始
すると同時にエアシリンダ等の駆動源(10)を駆動し
てたくし上げガイド(9)及び後退させた一方の冷却体
(5)を前進させる。
先にたくし上げガイド(9)が上流側の袋体(A3)に
突ぎ当ってこれを略くの字状に折り曲げ、これに伴って
該袋体(A3)下端のシール部(A+ )が上昇)゛る
この時、たくし上げガイド(9)の噴出孔(9C)から
圧縮エアを噴出して該シール部(A1)を押し下げ、次
いで一方の冷却体(5)の冷却面(5a)がこのたくし
上げたシール部(A1)に当接し、他方の冷却体(5)
の冷却面(5a)とで挾み込み冷却uしめる(第4図)
また、下流側の袋体(A4)は両横シール機(3)(3
)の開動が開始されても弾性材(12)(12)により
下部クランプ(11)(11)の押圧部(lla)(1
1a)を突出させて挟持し続けており、この時これら押
圧部(11a)(11a)の吐出孔(11c)(11c
)から冷11用エアを噴出して上端のシール部(A2)
を冷却せしめる。
その後、たくし上げガイド(9)及び一方の冷却体(5
)のみを後退させて初期状態に戻り、上述した工程を繰
り返すか、或いはこの状態のまま停止させる。
従って、本実施例のものは停止状態で冷却体(5)(5
)が横シールIfi(3)(3)と離れているため、横
シール機(3)(3)からの熱を受は難く冷却体(5)
(5)の温匹上貸を防止できる。
尚、前示実流例では移送手段がたくし上げガイド(9)
であったが、これに限定されず繰り出しベルト(2)(
2)を再駆動してシール部(A1)を冷却体(5)(5
)間に移動させても良い。
この際、繰り出しベルト(2)(2)を包装フィルム繰
り出し方向へ駆動させる場合には冷却体(5)(5)を
横シール4m(3)(3)の下流側に配設し、包装フィ
ルム繰り出し方向と逆方向へ駆動させる場合には冷却体
(5)(5)を横シール機(3)(3)の上流側に配設
する。
また、包装フィルム(A)に圧縮エアを当ててシール部
(A1)を冷却体(5)(5)間に移動させても良い。
更に、袋体(A3)下端のシール部(A1)のみを冷1
1体(5)(5)により冷UIL、だが、袋体(A4)
上端のシール部〈A2)を同様に冷却しても良いことは
言うまでしない。
〈発明の効果〉 本発明は上記の構成であるから、以下の利点を有する。
■ 熱シール直後横シール機の開動に伴い移送手段、詳
しくはたくし上げガイドを突出させるか繰り出しベルト
を再駆動させて両冷却体問にシール部を位置せしめ、そ
の後これら冷W体を■1動させてシール部を挾み込むこ
とにより直接冷11せしめるから、熱シール後のシール
部を短時間で完全冷却できると共に、シール部表面の凹
凸発生を防止することができる。
従って、冷却用エアによりシール部を冷Ul”する従来
のものに比べ、装置の高速化が可能になると共にシール
部の剥離を確実に防止でき、しかもシール面表面の外観
が良くシール効果を更に高めることができる。

第1図は本発明の一実施例を示す製袋充填包装装置の縦

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)包装フィルムを製袋用円筒体で筒状に形成しなが
    ら所定長さ宛間欠的に繰り出し、該筒状の包装フィルム
    内に被包装物を充填せしめ、対向する一対の横シール機
    の閉動により筒状包装フィルムを挾み込んで幅方向へ熱
    シールを施す製袋充填包装装置において、前記包装フィ
    ルム移送路の横シール機より上流側又は下流側に対向す
    る一対の冷却体を横シール機と別な駆動源で開閉動自在
    に横設すると共に、横シール機の開動に伴つて包装フィ
    ルムのシール部を両冷却体問に移動させる移送手段を設
    けたことを特徴とする製袋充填包装装置。
  2. (2)横シール機より上流側に一対の冷却体を開閉動自
    在に横設し、移送手段が該冷却体の上流側に配設され冷
    却体と連動して包装フィルム移送路へ出没するたくし上
    げガイドである請求項第1項記載の製袋充填包装装置。
  3. (3)横シール機より下流側に一対の冷却体を開閉動自
    在に横設し、移送手段が製袋用円筒体の外周に配設した
    繰り出しベルトであって、シール部移動時に該繰り出し
    ベルトを包装フィルム繰り出し方向へ駆動させる請求項
    第1項記載の製袋充填包装装置。
  4. (4)横シール機より上流側に一対の冷却体を開閉動自
    在に横設し、移動手段が製袋用円筒体の外周に配設した
    繰り出しベルトであつて、シール部移動時に該繰り出し
    ベルトを包装フィルム繰り出し方向と逆方向へ駆動させ
    る請求項第1項記載の製袋充填包装装置。
