Description
炭素繊維及び樹脂を含む炭素繊維強化樹脂を有する炭素繊維強化樹脂成形品を用意する工程、及び
炭素繊維強化樹脂成形品に加熱処理を施しながら、炭素繊維強化樹脂を引き出す工程
を含み、
加熱処理の温度が、樹脂のガラス転移温度以上かつ熱分解開始温度未満であり、かつ炭素繊維の熱劣化温度未満である、方法。
(2) 樹脂の熱分解開始温度が、窒素雰囲気下で30℃から550℃まで5℃/分で樹脂を昇温することにより得られた熱重量分析の重量変化チャートにおいて5%の重量減少を示す温度である、(1)に記載の方法。
(3) 樹脂の熱分解開始温度が、大気雰囲気下で30℃から550℃まで5℃/分で樹脂を昇温することにより得られた熱重量分析の重量変化チャートにおいて5%の重量減少を示す温度である、(1)に記載の方法。
(4) 加熱処理の温度が、400℃未満である、(1)~(3)のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
(5) 加熱処理の温度が、360℃以下である、(1)~(4)のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
(6) 引き出された炭素繊維強化樹脂中の樹脂を除去する工程をさらに含む、(1)~(5)のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
(7) 樹脂を除去する工程が、溶解液を炭素繊維強化樹脂に接触させることを含む、(6)に記載の方法。
(8) 溶解液が、酸性溶液、有機溶媒、過酸化水素水、及びイオン液体から選択される少なくとも1種の液体を含む、(7)に記載の方法。
(9) 溶解液が、酸性溶液である、(7)又は(8)に記載の方法。
(10) 樹脂が除去された炭素繊維を巻き取る工程をさらに含む、(6)~(9)のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
(11) 加熱処理を施しながら炭素繊維強化樹脂を引き出す工程と、引き出されて搬送された炭素繊維強化樹脂中の樹脂を除去する工程と、樹脂が除去されて搬送された炭素繊維を巻き取る工程とを含み、上流で炭素繊維強化樹脂を引き出しながら、下流で炭素繊維を巻き取る、(10)に記載の方法。
(12) 引き出された炭素繊維強化樹脂を切断する工程をさらに含む、(1)~(5)のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
(13) 加熱処理が、過熱水蒸気を用いて行われる、(1)~(12)のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
(14) 樹脂が、熱硬化性樹脂又は熱可塑性樹脂である、(1)~(13)のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
(15) 樹脂が、エポキシ樹脂である、(1)~(14)のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
本実施形態に係るリサイクル方法は、炭素繊維及び樹脂を含む炭素繊維強化樹脂を有する炭素繊維強化樹脂成形品を用意する工程を含む。
本実施形態に係るリサイクル方法は、炭素繊維強化樹脂成形品に加熱処理を施しながら、炭素繊維強化樹脂を引き出す工程を含む。また、加熱処理の温度は、樹脂のガラス転移温度以上かつ熱分解開始温度未満であり、かつ炭素繊維の熱劣化温度未満である。
本実施形態に係るリサイクル方法は、炭素繊維強化樹脂中の樹脂を除去して炭素繊維を得る工程を含んでもよい。炭素繊維強化樹脂中の樹脂の除去方法は、特に制限されるものではないが、好ましくは、溶解液による溶解除去が挙げられる。溶解液による溶解除去によれば、炭素繊維の劣化を抑制することができる。
本実施形態に係るリサイクル方法は、樹脂を除去して得られた炭素繊維にサイジング剤を付着させる工程を含んでもよい。
本実施形態に係るリサイクル方法は、除去工程により得られた樹脂が除去された炭素繊維を巻き取る工程を含んでいてもよい。炭素繊維を巻き取る工程は、除去工程の後に行われ、サイジング剤付与工程を含む場合には、サイジング剤付与工程の後に行われることが好ましい。

Claims (8)
- 炭素繊維をリサイクルする方法であって、
リサイクルする方法は、
炭素繊維及び樹脂を含む炭素繊維強化樹脂を有する炭素繊維強化樹脂成形品を用意する工程、
炭素繊維強化樹脂成形品に加熱処理を施しながら、炭素繊維強化樹脂を引き出す工程、
引き出され搬送されている炭素繊維強化樹脂中の樹脂を除去する工程、及び
樹脂が除去されて搬送された炭素繊維を巻き取る工程と、
を少なくとも含み、上流で炭素繊維強化樹脂を引き出しながら、下流で炭素繊維を巻き取る方法であり、
加熱処理の温度が、樹脂のガラス転移温度以上かつ熱分解開始温度未満であり、かつ炭素繊維の熱劣化温度未満であり、
樹脂の熱分解開始温度が、大気雰囲気下で30℃から550℃まで5℃/分で樹脂を昇温することにより得られた熱重量分析の重量変化チャートにおいて5%の重量減少を示す温度であり、
樹脂を除去する工程が、炭素繊維強化樹脂中の樹脂を溶解する溶解液を炭素繊維強化樹脂に接触させることを含み、
樹脂を除去する工程において、引き出された炭素繊維強化樹脂を溶解液に浸漬させた後、続いて、炭素繊維強化樹脂に対して噴射装置に接続されたノズルから溶解液を噴射することにより、樹脂を炭素繊維から除去し、
リサイクルする方法は、樹脂を除去する工程後、炭素繊維を巻き取る工程前に、樹脂を除去して得られた炭素繊維にサイジング剤を付着させる工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 加熱処理の温度が、400℃未満である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 加熱処理の温度が、360℃以下である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 溶解液が、酸性溶液、有機溶媒、過酸化水素水、及びイオン液体から選択される少なくとも1種の液体を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 溶解液が、酸性溶液である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 加熱処理が、過熱水蒸気を用いて行われる、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 樹脂が、熱硬化性樹脂又は熱可塑性樹脂である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 樹脂が、エポキシ樹脂である、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
