Description

一態様では、本開示は、床仕上げ組成物204に関する。本開示の床仕上げ組成物204は、工業用床材などの基材に保護被膜を提供してもよく、優れた耐摩耗性及び/又は耐薬品性及び高光沢を提供してもよい。さらに、床仕上げ組成物204は、耐久性を損なうことなく、除去剤溶液206を使用して基材から容易かつ選択的に除去してもよい。一般に、床仕上げ組成物204は、1つ又は複数の重合体(例えば、少なくとも1つの重合体エマルション及び少なくとも1つのアルカリ可溶性樹脂)、可塑剤、及び溶媒を含む。いくつかの形態では、床仕上げ組成物204は、ワックス、界面活性剤、及び香料をさらに含んでもよい。
いくつかの態様において、床仕上げ組成物204中の1つ以上の重合体は、結合剤又は膜形成剤として作用し得る重合体エマルションを含む。いくつかの実施形態では、重合体エマルションの存在又は量は、床仕上げ組成物204のレベリング、耐摩耗性、耐衝撃性、及び光沢などの組成物の1つ又は複数の特性に影響を与える。
一態様では、床仕上げ組成物204中の1つ又は複数の重合体は、少なくとも1つのアルカリ可溶性樹脂を含んでもよい。アルカリ可溶性樹脂の存在又は量は、溶液(例えば、除去剤溶液206、クリーナー溶液、アルカリ性溶液)による除去の容易さ、耐食性及び耐薬品性、硬度、密着性、光沢、耐久性、など、床仕上げ組成物204中の1つ又は複数の性能特性に影響を及ぼし得る。いくつかの態様において、1つ以上のアルカリ可溶性樹脂は、床面への床仕上げ組成物204の被覆性又は広がり性に影響を及ぼし得る。例えば、従来の床仕上げ組成物に関連する課題の1つは、組成物が床面全体に組成物を広げるために使用されているパッド又はモップに凝集又は付着傾向である。アルカリ可溶性樹脂の材料特性を調整又は活用して、パッド又はモップへの凝集及び接着など、床面への床仕上げ組成物の堆積に関連する望ましくない結果を防止できることが、本開示の認識である。
一態様では、本開示は、被膜又は床仕上げ組成物206の少なくとも一部を基材又は床面から除去する際に使用するための除去剤溶液206を提供する。いくつかの態様において、本開示の除去剤溶液206は、非腐食性であり、効力を失うことなく揮発性有機化合物を実質的に含まないように有利に処方され得る床被膜除去溶液の新しいパラダイムを提供する。これは、床の被膜を除去する際に効果的な活性を提供するために、高い揮発性有機化合物含有量(例えば、5%を超える)及び腐食性アルカリ性(例えば、11.5を超えるpH)を必要とする従来の剥離剤又は洗浄液とは対照的である。
以下の実施例は、本開示が使用又は実施され得る方法を詳細に説明し、当業者がその原理をより容易に理解することを可能にするであろう。以下の例は説明のために提示されたものであり、決して限定するものではない。
表1は、本開示による床仕上げ組成物の非限定的な例である。
床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤溶液は、表9に示すように配合された。床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤は、濁った単相溶液であった。床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤は、水と混合しても2つの相に分離せず、放置する。床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤には溶媒が含まれていない。床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤にはグリコールエーテルは含まれていない。床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤にはアンモニアが含まれていない。床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤にはモノエタノールアミンは含まれていない。床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤には水酸化ナトリウムは含まれていない。
実施例1A、実施例1B、及び実施例1Cの床仕上げに匹敵する床仕上げの試験に基づいて、実施例1A、実施例1B、及び実施例1Cのいずれかの床仕上げの4つのコートは、実施例1A、実施例1B、及び実施例1Cの床仕上げの10回のバニシング後、10週間の期間にわたって市販の床仕上げの8つのコートと同等の光沢を有すると想定する。理論に拘束されることを意図することなく、特に、実施例1A、実施例1B、実施例1C、及び実施例1Dの床仕上げに使用されるJoncryl(登録商標)ECO 75などのアルカリ可溶性アクリル樹脂は、耐久性の高性能を保持しながら除去性を改善すると考えられる。また、実施例2の床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤でのN,N-ジメチル-9-デセンアミドと2-(2-アミノエトキシ)エタノールの使用には、実施例1A、実施例1B、及び実施例1Cの床仕上げを除去するという予期しない結果をもたらす関係があると想定している。
実施例2と同様の床仕上げクリーナー/除去剤は、図4に示すように、5%添加水(AMP-95(商標))、モノイソプロパノールアミン(MIPA)、及び2-(2-アミノエトキシ)エタノール(DGA)を含む様々なレベルの2-アミノ-2-メチル-1-プロパノールで処方された。アルカリ性クリーナー/除去剤(水で1:64に希釈)は、仕上げの4つのコートを除去する場合は剥離剤(水で1:48に希釈)と同等であり、仕上げの10つのコートを除去する場合はわずかにダウンスケールする。カリフォルニア州大気資源局(CARB)の規制に基づいて、仕上げを除去する処方に3%を超えるVOCが含まれている場合、それは「剥離剤」と見なされる。
図5を参照すると、実施例2Bの除去剤溶液は、修正ASTM D1792標準試験に従って修正された長期除去性床研磨試験を使用して、クリーナー及び剥離剤溶液と比較された。この試験は、現場での老化を刺激する処理期間後の床研磨剤の除去性を予測するために使用できる。それは、研磨剤の実際の除去性を唯一の変数として残して、均一な機械的及び洗剤作用を可能にする。
Claims (6)
- 床仕上げ組成物であって、
(a)(i)前記床仕上げ組成物の全重量に基づいて35%から55%(w/w)及び(ii)前記床仕上げ組成物中の全固形分含有量に基づいて55%から75%の量の、少なくとも1つの重合体エマルションと、
(b)アクリル重合体を含む第1のアルカリ可溶性樹脂と、
(c)スチレン/アクリル重合体を含む第2のアルカリ可溶性樹脂と、
(d)前記床仕上げ組成物の全重量に基づいて5から10%(w/w)の量の少なくとも1つのワックスと、を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの重合体エマルション並びに前記第1及び第2のアルカリ可溶性樹脂は、前記少なくとも1つの重合体エマルションの量の、前記第1及び第2のアルカリ可溶性樹脂の全量に対する比率で存在し、その比率は、約2:1から約20:1の間であり、
オキサゾリン基含有化合物を含まず、
前記第2のアルカリ可溶性樹脂は、(i)約3000から7500の間の平均分子量(Mw)を有し、(ii)180から260の間の酸価を有し、(iii)80から120℃の間のガラス転移温度を有する、床仕上げ組成物。 - 少なくとも1つの可塑剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の床仕上げ組成物。
- 少なくとも1つの溶媒をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の床仕上げ組成物。
- 少なくとも1つの界面活性剤と、少なくとも1つの香料と、をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の床仕上げ組成物。
- 前記床仕上げ組成物中の前記第1及び第2のアルカリ可溶性樹脂の全含有量が、0.1%から15%(w/w)の間の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の床仕上げ組成物。
- 前記第1のアルカリ可溶性樹脂及び前記第2のアルカリ可溶性樹脂が、5:1から1:1の間の重量比で存在する、請求項1に記載の床仕上げ組成物。
