Claims (6)
- 高負荷運転時に排気還流を行う、ターボチャージャを備えた火花点火式内燃機関からなる内燃機関の制御方法であって、
新気として取り込まれる吸気の密度に関連する情報を取得し、この情報に基づいて吸気密度を算出し、高負荷運転時に、この吸気密度が密度閾値よりも低いときは排気還流を停止し、
生じているノッキングの程度もしくはノッキングの生じやすさを示す指標を取得し、この指標から、ノッキングが生じやすい条件であるほど上記密度閾値を低密度側に設定する、
内燃機関の制御方法。 - 上記指標は、燃料のオクタン価、外気温、吸気温、冷却水温、の少なくとも1つを含む、
請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。 - 上記指標は、
ノッキングセンサの検出信号に基づき点火時期リタードを行うノッキング制御におけるリタード量である、
請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。 - 上記の吸気密度に基づく排気還流の停止を行う高負荷運転時は、上記ターボチャージャが回転数限界に達する最高出力運転時である、
請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。 - 標準の吸気密度の下では、最高出力運転時に、排気還流を行いつつ理論空燃比での燃焼を行う、
請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。 - 排気還流装置を備えるとともに、ターボチャージャを備えた火花点火式内燃機関からなる内燃機関の制御装置であって、
高負荷域を含む運転領域で上記排気還流装置による排気還流を行うとともに、新気として取り込まれる吸気の密度に関連する情報を取得し、この情報に基づいて吸気密度を算出し、高負荷運転時に、この吸気密度が密度閾値よりも低いときは排気還流を停止し、
生じているノッキングの程度もしくはノッキングの生じやすさを示す指標を取得し、この指標から、ノッキングが生じやすい条件であるほど上記密度閾値を低密度側に設定する、
