Claims (1)
- 吸気弁と排気弁との少なくとも一つの開閉時期を可変可能な可変バルブタイミング装置と、排気エネルギにより駆動されるタービンとタービンにより駆動されて吸入空気を圧縮するコンプレッサとを有する過給機と、コンプレッサの上流にタービンから排出される排気ガスの一部を再循環させる排気ガス再循環装置と、新気をシリンダに流入させる新気バイパス通路とを備える内燃機関において、排気ガス再循環装置による一部の排気ガスの再循環と可変バルブタイミング装置による筒内での排気ガスの再循環とを選択的に併用する内燃機関の排気ガス再循環制御方法であって、
減速時に、筒内に残留する排気ガスが減少するように可変バルブタイミング装置を制御するとともに、当該制御によっても実際のEGR率が目標EGR率に達しない場合は、新気バイパス通路による新気の供給を増加させる内燃機関の排気ガス再循環制御方法。
