Claims (16)
- 自由端コネクタを備えるコネクタアセンブリであって、前記自由端コネクタが、
ケーブルを支持するコネクタハウジングと、
第1のサイド及び該第1のサイドとは反対側の第2のサイドを有し、前記第1のサイドから前記第2のサイドに延在する複数のフレーム開口部を含むフレームと、
該フレームの前記第2のサイド上に支持され、第1の信号端子、第2の信号端子、及び接地板を含む端子セットと、を含み、
前記接地板は、蹄鉄形状を有し、前記第1の信号端子及び第2の信号端子の両側に接地端子を提供し、
前記ケーブルの第1の導体が、前記複数のフレーム開口部のうちの第1のフレーム開口部の中に延在して、前記第1の信号端子に電気的に接続され、
前記ケーブルの第2の導体が、前記複数のフレーム開口部のうちの第2のフレーム開口部の中に延在して、前記第2の信号端子に電気的に接続され、
前記ケーブルのドレインワイヤが、前記複数のフレーム開口部のうちの第3のフレーム開口部の中に延在し、前記接地板に電気的に接続される、コネクタアセンブリ。 - 前記複数のフレーム開口部は、前記フレームの第1のサイドの面取りされた縁部によって前記フレームの第1のサイドから第2のサイドに向けたテーパ状となっている、請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のフレーム開口部は、更に、挿入縁部によって前記フレームの第1のサイドから第2のサイドに向けたテーパ状となっている、請求項2に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記第1の信号端子が、前記第1のフレーム開口部と位置合わせされた第1の導体開口部を含み、
前記第1の導体が、前記第1の導体開口部で、前記第1の信号端子に電気的に接続され、
前記第2の信号端子が、前記第2のフレーム開口部と位置合わせされた第2の導体開口部を含み、
前記第2の導体が、前記第2の導体開口部で、前記第2の信号端子に電気的に接続され、
前記接地板が、前記第3のフレーム開口部と位置合わせされた接地導体開口部を含み、
前記ドレインワイヤが、前記接地導体開口部で、前記接地板に電気的に接続される、請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。 - 前記自由端コネクタが、前記第1の信号端子及び第2の信号端子の上に配置され、前記接地板に接続されたシールドカバーを更に含む、請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記シールドカバーが、前記第1の信号端子内の第1の導体開口部と位置合わせされた第1の調整開口部と、前記第2の信号端子内の第2の導体開口部と位置合わせされた第2の調整開口部と、を含む、請求項5に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記自由端コネクタが、
前記フレームの第2のサイドに支持された第2の端子セットと、
該第2の端子セットの信号端子の上に配置され、前記第2の端子セットの接地板に接続された第2のシールドカバーとを更に含む、請求項5に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。 - 前記シールドカバーと第2のシールドカバーとが電気的に分離されている、請求項7に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記シールドカバーと第2のシールドカバーとが電気的に接続され、接地共用部を提供する、請求項7に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記シールドカバーと第2のシールドカバーとが受動回路ネットワークによって電気的に接続され、接地共用部を提供する、請求項7に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- プラグハウジングを含む固定端コネクタを更に備え、前記コネクタハウジングとプラグハウジングとが、前記コネクタハウジング上の板ばね及び前記プラグハウジング上のロッキング棚部の相互作用によって結合する、請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。
- 前記プラグハウジングが一対のブロックガイドを含み、
前記板ばねは、該板ばねが前記ブロックガイドによって案内されて、前記プラグハウジングへの前記コネクタハウジングの接続中に端子セットがプラグハウジングと接触することを防止するように、前記コネクタハウジングから端子セットよりも長手方向でより遠くに延在する、請求項11に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。 - 固定端コネクタを更に備え、該固定端コネクタが、
プラグハウジング内に配置されたプラグウエハと、
該プラグウエハ上に担持された、馬蹄形状を有するとともに接地リードを有する接地リードフレームと、
該接地リードフレーム内に配置され、その両側に前記接地リードが存在する一対の信号リードと、を含む、請求項1に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。 - 前記自由端コネクタの第1信号端子が単一の屈曲部を含み、
前記固定端コネクタの一対の信号リードのうちの単一の信号リードが単一の屈曲部を含む、請求項13に記載のコネクタアセンブリ。 - ケーブルを支持するコネクタハウジングと、
第1のサイド及び該第1のサイドとは反対側の第2のサイドを有し、前記第1のサイドから前記第2のサイドに延在する複数のフレーム開口部を含むフレームと、
該フレームの前記第2のサイド上に支持され、第1の信号端子、第2の信号端子、及び接地板を含む端子セットと、を備え、
前記接地板は、蹄鉄形状を有し、前記第1の信号端子及び第2の信号端子の両側に接地端子を提供し、
前記ケーブルの第1の導体が、前記複数のフレーム開口部のうちの第1のフレーム開口部の中に延在して、前記第1の信号端子に電気的に接続され、
前記ケーブルの第2の導体が、前記複数のフレーム開口部のうちの第2のフレーム開口部の中に延在して、前記第2の信号端子に電気的に接続される、自由端コネクタ。 - 前記ケーブルのドレインワイヤが、前記複数のフレーム開口部のうちの第3のフレーム開口部の中に延在し、前記接地板に電気的に接続される、請求項15に記載の自由端コネクタ。
