Description
〔1〕心綱と、心綱の外周に撚り合わせてなるストランドとを備えるワイヤロープにおいて、前記心綱および前記ストランドのうち少なくとも一方にグリース組成物が含浸されており、前記グリース組成物は、生分解性を有する基油と、増粘剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有し、グリース組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%であることを特徴とするワイヤロープ、
〔2〕ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルに対するカルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスの含有量(カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスの含有量/ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルの含有量)が、0.5~5.0である、〔1〕記載のワイヤロープ、
〔3〕グリース組成物の融点が45~100℃である、〔1〕または〔2〕記載のワイヤロープ、
〔4〕グリース組成物がさらに生分解性を有するワックスを含有する、〔1〕~〔3〕のいずれかに記載のワイヤロープ、
〔5〕生分解性を有する基油および生分解性を有するワックスの合計量中の生分解性を有するワックスの含有量が5.0~40質量%である、〔4〕記載のワイヤロープ、
〔6〕グリース組成物中の増粘剤の含有量が1.0~25質量%である、〔1〕~〔5〕のいずれかに記載のワイヤロープ、
〔7〕心綱と、心綱の外周に撚り合わせてなるストランドとを備えるワイヤロープの製造方法であって、生分解性を有する基油と、増粘剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有し、組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%であるグリース組成物が溶融する温度に前記グリース組成物を加熱する工程、ならびに前記心綱および前記ストランドのうち少なくとも一方に、前記グリース組成物を含浸させる工程を含む製造方法、
〔8〕前記グリース組成物の加熱温度が50~130℃である、〔7〕記載の製造方法、に関する。
本実施形態に係るグリース組成物は、生分解性を有する基油と、増粘剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有し、好ましくは生分解性を有するワックスを含有し、組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質(特に、生分解性を有する基油、生分解性を有するワックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステル)の合計含有量が75質量%以上であることを特徴とする。なお、前記のVGPにおいては、有機物質の易生分解性を測定する標準的試験法である、OECDテストガイドライン301シリーズに準拠し、所定の生分解度(例えば、OECDテストガイドライン301Bに準拠し、微生物による生分解度が60%以上)を有する有機物質を、グリース組成物中75質量%以上含有するよう規定されており、本実施形態に係るグリース組成物も、VGPに対応すべくそのように設計される。
基油としては、OECDテストガイドライン301シリーズに準拠し、所定の生分解度を有する、生分解性を有すると判定される基油が好適に用いられる(以下、本明細書において、かかる基油を単に「生分解性を有する基油」と記載することがある)。
本実施形態において使用可能な増粘剤としては、特に制限はなく、ポリブテン、ポリイソブテン、ポリイソブチレン、αオレフィンコポリマー等の、潤滑グリースにおいて一般的に使用されているものを適宜選択することができる。増粘剤は、OECDテストガイドライン301シリーズに準拠し、所定の生分解度を有する、生分解性を有すると判定される増粘剤(例えば、ポリイソブチレン等)であってもよい。
本実施形態における防錆剤としては、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックス、およびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルが好適に用いられる。カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを併用することにより、相乗的な防錆効果が得られる。
ワックスとしては、OECDテストガイドライン301シリーズに準拠し、所定の生分解度を有する、生分解性を有すると判定されるワックスが好適に用いられる(以下、本明細書において、かかるワックスを単に「生分解性を有するワックス」と記載することがある)。生分解性を有するワックスは、増ちょう剤を代替するものとして使用でき、かつ、後記するグリース組成物の融点を調整するために適量を含有することができる。
本実施形態のグリース組成物は、本実施形態の効果が損なわれない範囲において、上記の基油、増粘剤、防錆剤およびワックス以外の成分(その他の成分)を含んでいてもよい。上記その他の成分としては、特に限定されず、例えば、増ちょう剤、耐摩耗剤、酸化防止剤、極圧添加剤、染料、色相安定剤、構造安定剤、金属不活性剤、粘度指数向上剤等が挙げられる。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係るワイヤロープの側面図(一部を解いた状態の側面図)である。ワイヤロープ1は、心綱2と、心綱の外周に撚り合わせてなるストランド3とを備える。また、前記心綱および前記ストランドのうち少なくとも一方にグリース組成物が含浸されている。
合成エステル油:BASFジャパン(株)製のSynative ES TMP 05/320(トリメチロールプロパンコンプレックスエステル、動粘度(40℃):326mm2/s)
ワックス:日本精蝋(株)製のParaffin Wax 155F
増粘剤:出光興産(株)製の出光ポリブテン2000H
カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックス:出光興産(株)製のダフニーマルチレックスWR
ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル1:花王(株)製のエマゾール O-10V(ソルビタンモノオレエート)
ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル2:花王(株)製のエマゾール O-30V(ソルビタントリオレエート)
表1に記載の処方に従い、グリース組成物を調製した。得られたグリース組成物について以下の評価を行った。評価結果を表1に示す。
JIS K 2235に準拠し、グリース組成物の融点を測定した。
JIS K 2246 6.35に準拠し、試験用グリース組成物で被覆した試験片(被膜作成方法はJIS K 2220 21準拠)を、35℃の環境下で、中性塩水を噴霧した装置内に規定時間保持した後のさび発生度を調べた。さび発生度が0%であった、塩水の噴霧時間を表1に示す。240時間以上を性能目標値とする。
心綱2は、鋼の49本の素線21を撚り合わせたものを用い、ストランド3は、鋼の36本の素線31を撚り合わせたものを用いた。素線を撚り合わせた作製した前記心綱2および前記ストランド3に、前記グリース組成物を、ヒーターで80℃に加熱し溶融させることによってそれぞれ塗布した。その後、前記グリース組成物を含浸させた6本のストランド3を、前記心綱2の外周に撚り合わせ、ワイヤロープを作製した。

Claims (7)
- 心綱と、心綱の外周に撚り合わせてなるストランドとを備えるワイヤロープにおいて、
前記心綱および前記ストランドのうち少なくとも一方にグリース組成物が含浸されており、
前記グリース組成物は、生分解性を有する基油と、増粘剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有し、
グリース組成物の融点が45~100℃であり、
グリース組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、
防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%であることを特徴とするワイヤロープ。 - ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルに対するカルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスの含有量(カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスの含有量/ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルの含有量)が、0.5~5.0である、請求項1記載のワイヤロープ。
- グリース組成物がさらに生分解性を有するワックスを含有する、請求項1または2に記載のワイヤロープ。
- 生分解性を有する基油および生分解性を有するワックスの合計量中の生分解性を有するワックスの含有量が5.0~40質量%である、請求項3記載のワイヤロープ。
- グリース組成物中の増粘剤の含有量が1.0~25質量%である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のワイヤロープ。
- 心綱と、心綱の外周に撚り合わせてなるストランドとを備えるワイヤロープの製造方法であって、
生分解性を有する基油と、増粘剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有し、組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%であるグリース組成物が溶融する温度に前記グリース組成物を加熱する工程、ならびに
前記心綱および前記ストランドのうち少なくとも一方に、前記グリース組成物を含浸させる工程を含む製造方法。 - 前記グリース組成物の加熱温度が50~130℃である、請求項6記載の製造方法。
