Description
〔1〕生分解性を有する基油と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有するグリース組成物であって、組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%であるグリース組成物、
〔2〕ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルに対するカルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスの含有量(カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスの含有量/ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルの含有量)が、0.5~5.0である、〔1〕記載のグリース組成物、
〔3〕生分解性を有する基油と、増ちょう剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有するグリース組成物であって、組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質(特に、生分解性を有する基油およびソルビタン脂肪酸エステル)の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%である、〔1〕または〔2〕記載のグリース組成物、
〔4〕増ちょう剤の含有量が2.0~20質量%である、〔3〕記載のグリース組成物、
〔5〕増ちょう剤が、リチウム石けん、リチウム複合石けん、およびウレア系化合物からなる群から選ばれる1または2以上の増ちょう剤である、〔3〕または〔4〕記載のグリース組成物、
〔6〕混和ちょう度が265~295である、〔3〕~〔5〕のいずれかに記載のグリース組成物、
〔7〕生分解性を有する基油と、生分解性を有するワックスと、増粘剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有するグリース組成物であって、組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質(特に、生分解性を有する基油、生分解性を有するワックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステル)の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%であり、融点が50℃~100℃である、〔1〕または〔2〕記載のグリース組成物、
〔8〕増粘剤の含有量が1.0~25質量%である、〔7〕記載のグリース組成物、
〔9〕生分解性を有する基油および生分解性を有するワックスの合計量中の生分解性を有するワックスの含有量が6.0~40質量%である、〔7〕または〔8〕記載のグリース組成物、に関する。
本実施形態に係るグリース組成物は、生分解性を有する基油と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有することを特徴とする。なお、前記のVGPにおいては、有機物質の易生分解性を測定する標準的試験法である、OECDテストガイドライン301シリーズに準拠し、所定の生分解度(例えば、OECDテストガイドライン301Bに準拠し、微生物による生分解度が60%以上)を有する有機物質を、グリース組成物中75質量%以上含有するよう規定されており、本実施形態に係るグリース組成物も、VGPに対応すべくそのように設計される。
基油としては、OECDテストガイドライン301シリーズに準拠し、所定の生分解度を有する、生分解性を有すると判定される基油が好適に用いられる(以下、本明細書において、かかる基油を単に「生分解性を有する基油」と記載することがある)。
本実施形態における防錆剤としては、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックス、およびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルが好適に用いられる。カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを併用することにより、相乗的な防錆効果が得られる。
本実施形態における増ちょう剤としては、大きな欠点もなく性能バランス(例えば、耐水性、せん断安定性等)が良い観点から、リチウム石けんが好適に用いられる。リチウム石けんとしては、例えば、炭素数10~28の脂肪酸、および炭素数10~28のヒドロキシ酸から合成されたリチウム石けん等が挙げられる。
ワックスとしては、OECDテストガイドライン301シリーズに準拠し、所定の生分解度を有する、生分解性を有すると判定されるワックスが好適に用いられる(以下、本明細書において、かかるワックスを単に「生分解性を有するワックス」と記載することがある)。生分解性を有するワックスは、生分解性を有する基油を代替するものとして使用でき、かつグリース組成物の融点を上記の範囲に調整するために適量を含有することができる。
本実施形態において使用可能な増粘剤としては、特に制限はなく、ポリブテン、ポリイソブテン、ポリイソブチレン、αオレフィンコポリマー等の、潤滑グリースにおいて一般的に使用されているものを適宜選択することができる。増粘剤は、OECDテストガイドライン301シリーズに準拠し、所定の生分解度を有する、生分解性を有すると判定される増粘剤(例えば、ポリイソブチレン等)であってもよい。
本実施形態のグリース組成物は、本実施形態の効果が損なわれない範囲において、任意成分をさらに含有し得る。任意成分としては、耐摩耗剤、酸化防止剤、極圧添加剤、染料、色相安定剤、構造安定剤、金属不活性剤、酸化防止剤、粘度指数向上剤等が挙げられる。
合成エステル油:BASFジャパン(株)製のSynative ES TMP 05/320(トリメチロールプロパンコンプレックスエステル、動粘度(40℃):326mm2/s)
植物油:豊国製油(株)製の工業用一号ヒマシ油(動粘度(40℃):240mm2/s)
ワックス:日本精蝋(株)製のParaffin Wax 155F
リチウム石けん:ヒドロキシステアリン酸および12-ヒドロキシステアリン酸と水酸化リチウムとの反応によって形成されたリチウム石けん
リチウム複合石けん:12-ヒドロキシステアリン酸およびアゼライン酸の混合物と水酸化リチウムとの反応によって形成されたリチウム複合石けん
ジウレア化合物:シクロヘキシルアミンおよびステアリルアミンの混合物と4,4’-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートとの反応によって形成されたジウレア化合物
増粘剤:出光興産(株)製の出光ポリブテン2000H
カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックス:出光興産(株)製のダフニーマルチレックスWR
ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル1:花王(株)製のエマゾール O-10V(ソルビタンモノオレエート)
ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル2:花王(株)製のエマゾール O-30V(ソルビタントリオレエート)
表1に記載の処方に従い、グリース組成物を調製した。得られたグリース組成物について以下の評価を行った。評価結果を表1に示す。
JIS K 2220 7に準拠し、25℃の環境下で、ちょう度計に取り付けた円錐を試験用グリース組成物に落下させ、5秒間かけて進入した深さ(mm)を測定し、測定された値を10倍したものを混和ちょう度とする。
JIS K 2246 6.35に準拠し、試験用グリース組成物で被覆した試験片(被膜作成方法はJIS K 2220 21準拠)を、35℃の環境下で、中性塩水を噴霧した装置内に規定時間保持した後のさび発生度を調べた。さび発生度が0%であった、塩水の噴霧時間を表1に示す。120時間以上を性能目標値とする。
JIS K 2220 16に準拠し、38℃および79℃の環境下で、試験前のグリースの量100質量%に対する、水に洗い流されたグリースの質量を測定した。当該質量が小さい程、耐水性に優れる。
JIS K 2220 11に準拠し、100℃で24時間静置したときの離油度を測定した。当該質量が小さい程、貯蔵安定性に優れる。
表2に記載の処方に従い、グリース組成物を調製した。得られたグリース組成物について以下の評価を行った。評価結果を表2に示す。
JIS K 2235に準拠し、グリース組成物の融点を測定した。
JIS K 2246 6.35に準拠し、試験用グリース組成物で被覆した試験片(被膜作成方法はJIS K 2220 21準拠)を、35℃の環境下で、中性塩水を噴霧した装置内に規定時間保持した後のさび発生度を調べた。さび発生度が0%であった、塩水の噴霧時間を表2に示す。240時間以上を性能目標値とする。
Claims (9)
- 生分解性を有する基油と、増ちょう剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有するグリース組成物であって、
組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、
増ちょう剤が、リチウム石けん、ウレア系化合物、リチウム複合石けん、カルシウム石けん、ナトリウム石けん、アルミニウム石けん、ナトリウムテレフタラメート、有機化ベントナイト、およびシリカゲルからなる群から選ばれる1または2以上の増ちょう剤であり、
防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%であるグリース組成物。 - 増ちょう剤の含有量が2.0~20質量%である、請求項1記載のグリース組成物。
- 増ちょう剤が、リチウム石けん、リチウム複合石けん、およびウレア系化合物からなる群から選ばれる1または2以上の増ちょう剤である、請求項1または2記載のグリース組成物。
- 混和ちょう度が265~295である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のグリース組成物。
- 生分解性を有する基油と、生分解性を有するワックスと、増粘剤と、カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスおよびソルビタン脂肪酸エステルを含む防錆剤とを含有するグリース組成物であって、
組成物中の生分解性を有する有機物質の合計含有量が75質量%以上であり、
防錆剤の含有量が2.5~30質量%であり、
融点が50℃~100℃であるグリース組成物。 - 増粘剤の含有量が1.0~25質量%である、請求項5記載のグリース組成物。
- 増粘剤が、ポリブテン、ポリイソブテン、ポリイソブチレン、およびαオレフィンコポリマーからなる群から選ばれる1または2以上の増粘剤である、請求項5または6記載のグリース組成物。
- 生分解性を有する基油および生分解性を有するワックスの合計量中の生分解性を有するワックスの含有量が6.0~40質量%である、請求項5~7のいずれか一項に記載のグリース組成物。
- ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルに対するカルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスの含有量(カルシウムスルホネートコンプレックスの含有量/ソルビタン脂肪酸エステルの含有量)が、0.5~5.0である、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のグリース組成物。
