Description
試験体として、以下の表1に示す構成の実施例1~実施例10、比較例1~比較例5の不織布(フィルター)を準備した。
以上のように準備された試験体について、まず剛軟度試験として、JIS-L-1096 A法「45°カンチレバー法」に準拠して曲げ長さ(単位:mm)を測定し、JIS L 1913:2010「41.5°カンチレバー法」に準拠して剛軟度(単位:mN・cm)を算出した。
不織布のみかけ密度は、不織布の目付と厚みを測定し、次式により算出した。
尚、不織布の目付とは、単位面積あたりの不織布の重量のことを示し、不織布の厚みとは、不織布の上に10cm×10cmの80gの板(板に錘を乗せて合計80gとした状態であっても良い。)を重ねた状態の不織布の平均厚み(即ち、0.8g/cm2の荷重下で測定した不織布の平均厚み)を示す。
不織布の弾力性評価は、10人のテスターに不織布を両手で掴んだときの感触が比較例3を基準として同等又は同等以上の弾力性(柔らかさ)を備えるか否かを評価してもらい、テスターの評価結果に応じて以下のように◎~×と評価した。
◎:比較例3と同等又は同等以上と評価したテスターが10人中8人以上
○:比較例3と同等又は同等以上と評価したテスターが10人中7人から5人
△:比較例3と同等又は同等以上と評価したテスターが10人中4人から2人
×:比較例3と同等又は同等以上と評価したテスターが10人中1人以下
結果は以下の表2のようになった。
式中、G:剛軟度(mN・cm)、m:試験片の単位面積当たりの質量(g/m2)、即ち目付、C:全平均の曲げ長さ(cm)を示す。尚、この式において、9.81m/s2の自由落下の加速度は、10m/s2に丸めている。
実施例1~実施例10、及び、実施例1と同じ目付であってバインダーを含み難燃性を有する従来の比較例2を用いて、燃焼時の性能等を評価する難燃性試験を行った。

Claims (6)
- 鞘部を低融点ポリエステルとし、芯部を前記低融点ポリエステルよりも融点の高い高融点ポリエステルとした芯鞘構造を有する複合ポリエステル繊維と、残部の他の繊維とからなる不織布であって、
前記複合ポリエステル繊維と前記残部の他の繊維とが一体化された不織布本体を備え、
前記不織布本体は、前記不織布本体の総量100重量%において前記複合ポリエステル繊維を15重量%以上80重量%以下含み、
不織布本体のみかけ密度=(不織布本体の目付)/(不織布本体の厚み)としたときの不織布本体のみかけ密度が0.005g/cm3以上0.040g/cm3以下であり、
前記不織布本体の第1方向の剛軟度が50mN・cm以上220mN・cm以下であり、前記第1方向に直交する方向である第2方向での剛軟度が20mN・cm以上140mN・cm以下である、不織布。 - 前記不織布本体は、目付が40g/m2以上80g/m2以下であり、
前記第1方向の剛軟度と前記第2方向の剛軟度との剛軟度比(前記第1方向の剛軟度/前記第2方向の剛軟度)が1.0超4.0以下の範囲内である、請求項1記載の不織布。 - 前記残部は、難燃性繊維を含む、請求項1又は請求項2記載の不織布。
- 前記難燃性繊維は、難燃性アクリル繊維又は難燃性ポリエステル繊維を含む、請求項3記載の不織布。
- 前記低融点ポリエステルの融点が100℃以上140℃以下であり、
前記複合ポリエステル繊維は、前記複合ポリエステル繊維の総量100重量%において前記低融点ポリエステルを20重量%以上50重量%以下含む、請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の不織布。 - 請求項3から請求項5のいずれかに記載の不織布を用いた、レンジフード又は換気扇の汚れ防止用のフィルター。
