Description
特許文献3には、ポリ乳酸樹脂層とエチレン-ビニルアルコール共重合体よりなるバリア層とを変性ポリオレフィン系樹脂を用いて接着した積層シートが開示されている。
また、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)及び/又は脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂を主として含有するポリエステル系樹脂(d)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその無水物によりグラフト変性して得られる変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)よりなる接着性樹脂組成物が、生分解性が高く、且つ接着性も発現可能であり、生分解性樹脂積層体に使用する接着層の樹脂として最適であることを見出した。
本明細書において、“質量%”及び“質量部”と、“重量%”及び“重量部”とは、それぞれ同義である。
本発明の脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物に含まれる脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)及びポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)は室温で高い生分解性を有することから、樹脂成分として、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)及びポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)を含む本発明の脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物よりなる脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂層を有する本発明の生分解性積層体は、生分解性に優れる。
脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)とポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)とを併用し所定の配合比とすることで成形性を向上させることができる。
無機フィラー(C)は、核剤として機能することにより成形性の向上にも有効に作用するため、無機フィラー(C)を含むことにより、生分解性に優れた生分解性積層体を良好な成形性、生産性のもとに提供することが可能となる。
脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)、ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)及び無機フィラー(C)を含む本発明の脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物について以下に説明する。
脂肪族ジカルボン酸とは、脂肪族炭化水素基にカルボキシル基が2つ結合したものをいう。該脂肪族炭化水素基としては、通常直鎖脂肪族炭化水素基が用いられるが、分岐構造を有していてもよく、環状構造を有していてもよく、それらを複数有していてもよい。
脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)は、脂肪族ジオール単位及び脂肪族ジカルボン酸単位を主構成単位として含む脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂である。

触媒は1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を任意の組み合わせおよび比率で併用してもよい。
反応温度が高すぎると、不飽和結合の過剰生成が起こり、不飽和結合が要因となるゲル化が起こり、重合の制御が困難になることがある。

珪酸エステルとしては、具体的には、テトラメトキシシラン、ジメトキシジフェニルシラン、ジメトキシジメチルシラン、ジフェニルジヒドロキシシラン等が例示される。
脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)の弾性率は180~1000MPaが好ましい。
融点が上記範囲外では成形性に劣り、弾性率が180MPa未満では成形加工性や形状保持に問題が起こり易い。弾性率が1000MPaを超えると耐衝撃性が悪くなる。
ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(以下、PHAと称することがある)(B)は、一般式:[-CHR-CH2-CO-O-](式中、Rは炭素数1~15のアルキル基である。)で示される繰り返し単位を含む脂肪族ポリエステルであり、3-ヒドロキシブチレート単位を主構成成分として含む。
無機フィラー(C)としては、無水シリカ、雲母、タルク、マイカ、クレイ、酸化チタン、炭酸カルシウム、ケイ藻土、アロフェン、ベントナイト、チタン酸カリウム、ゼオライト、セピオライト、スメクタイト、カオリン、カオリナイト、ガラス、石灰石、カーボン、ワラステナイト、焼成パーライト、珪酸カルシウム、珪酸ナトリウム等の珪酸塩、酸化アルミニウム、炭酸マグネシウム、水酸化カルシウム等の水酸化物、炭酸第二鉄、酸化亜鉛、酸化鉄、リン酸アルミニウム、硫酸バリウム等の塩類等が挙げられ、好ましくはタルク、マイカ、或いはクレイ、炭酸カルシウム、ゼオライトである。

本発明の脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物に含まれる脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)とポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)の質量比は、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)/ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)=75/25~10/90が好ましく、より好ましくは70/30~15/80、更に好ましくは65/45~20/80である。上記質量比の範囲よりも脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)が多く、ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)が少ないと室温での生分解性が遅くなり、逆に脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)が少なくポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)が多いと成形加工しにくくなる。
本発明の脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物は、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)、ポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)以外の樹脂、例えば芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂、ポリカーボネート、ポリアミド、ポリスチレン、ポリオレフィン、アクリル樹脂、アモルファスポリオレフィン、ABS、AS(アクリロニトリルスチレン)、ポリカプロラクトン、ポリビニルアルコール、セルロースエステルなどの合成樹脂、ポリ乳酸や脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂であるポリブチレンアジペートテレフタレート(PBAT)などの生分解性樹脂などの1種又は2種以上を含有していてもよい。
本発明の脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物には、滑剤、可塑剤、帯電防止剤、酸化防止剤、光安定剤、紫外線吸収剤、染料、顔料、加水分解防止剤、結晶核剤、アンチブロッキング剤、耐光剤、可塑剤、熱安定剤、難燃剤、離型剤、防曇剤、表面ぬれ改善剤、焼却補助剤、分散助剤、各種界面活性剤、スリップ剤等の各種添加剤や、澱粉、セルロース、紙、木粉、キチン・キトサン質、椰子殻粉末、クルミ殻粉末等の動物/植物物質微粉末、或いはこれらの混合物が「その他の成分」として含まれていてもよい。
本発明の脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物には、機能性添加剤として、鮮度保持剤、抗菌剤等を配合することもできる。
これらは、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で任意に配合することができ、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を混合して使用してもよい。
本発明の脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物は、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)及びポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)と無機フィラー(C)、必要に応じて用いられるその他の樹脂やその他の成分を混合することにより製造される。
本発明の生分解性積層体において、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂層とPVA系樹脂層の間に介在させる接着層に好適に用いられる変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)よりなる本発明の接着性樹脂組成物について説明する。
ポリエステル系樹脂(d)が脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)と脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂を含む場合、脂肪族ポリエステル樹脂(A)と脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂の存在割合は、脂肪族ポリエステル樹脂(A)と脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂の合計100質量%中に脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)を15~50質量%、脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂を50~85質量%含むことが、生分解性と加工性の観点から好ましい。
芳香族ジカルボン酸成分としては、芳香族ジカルボン酸化合物の誘導体でもよい。例えば、上記に例示した芳香族ジカルボン酸成分の誘導体が好ましく、中でも、炭素数1以上4以下である低級アルキルエステルや、酸無水物等が挙げられる。芳香族ジカルボン酸化合物の誘導体の具体例としては、上記例示した芳香族ジカルボン酸成分のメチルエステル、エチルエステル、プロピルエステル、ブチルエステル等の低級アルキルエステル;無水コハク酸等の上記例示した芳香族ジカルボン酸成分の環状酸無水物;等が挙げられる。中でも、ジメチルテレフタレートが好ましい。
脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂の弾性率は180~1000MPaが好ましい。
融点が上記範囲外では成形性に劣り、弾性率が180MPa未満では成形加工性に問題が起こり易い。一方、弾性率が1000MPaを超えると耐衝撃強度が悪くなる傾向がある。
変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)は、上述のポリエステル樹脂(d)を、α,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその無水物をグラフト変性して得られたものを含むものである。
ポリエステル系樹脂(d)は脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂及び/又は脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂を含むことから生分解性であり、さらにかかるポリエステル系樹脂(d)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその無水物でグラフト変性して得られる変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)もまた、基本骨格は脂肪族ポリエステル又は脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステルであり、それに若干量の変性を施したものであることから、生分解性である。
これらのα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその無水物は、1種を単独で用いる場合に限らず、2種以上を併用してもよい。
つまり、本発明の接着性樹脂組成物は、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)及び/又は前述の脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂を主として含有するポリエステル系樹脂(d)を用いるが、ポリエステル系樹脂(d)が、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)及び脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂を含む場合、予め、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその誘導体でグラフト変性したものと、脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその誘導体でグラフト変性したものをそれぞれ準備しておき、それらを混合して変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)としてもよい。また、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその誘導体でグラフト変性したものと脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂と混合したものや脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその誘導体でグラフト変性したものと脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)を混合したもの変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)としてもよい。また、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)及び脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂の混合物をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその誘導体でグラフト変性したものを変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)としてもよい。また、上述のような変性の仕方が異なるなるもので得られたものを混合して変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)としてもよい。
これらは、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上のものを併用することも可能である。
変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)における不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその誘導体の含有量が少なすぎると、層間接着性、特にPVA系樹脂層との接着力が不充分になる傾向がある。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)における不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその誘導体の含有量が多すぎると、熱溶融成形時の安定性が低下する傾向がある。
変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)における不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその誘導体の含有量は、1H-NMR測定によって得られるスペクトルから求めることができる。
本発明の生分解性積層体におけるPVA系樹脂層について説明する。
PVA系樹脂の平均重合度が小さすぎると、PVA系樹脂層の機械的強度が不充分となる傾向がある。PVA系樹脂の平均重合度が大きすぎると、熱溶融成形によってPVA系樹脂層を形成する場合に流動性が不足して成形性が低下する傾向があり、成形時せん断発熱が異常発生して樹脂が熱分解しやすくなる場合がある。
PVA系樹脂のケン化度が低すぎると、ガスバリア性が低下する傾向がある。
変性PVA系樹脂中の変性種、すなわち共重合体中の各種単量体に由来する構成単位、あるいは後反応によって導入された官能基の含有量は、変性種によって特性が大きくことなるため一概には言えないが、通常1~20モル%、特に2~10モル%の範囲が好ましく用いられる。
中でも、共重合反応性および工業的な取扱い性に優れるという点から、(i)の方法において、一般式(16)で表される化合物として3,4-ジアシロキシ-1-ブテンを用いることが好ましく、特に3,4-ジアセトキシ-1-ブテンが好ましく用いられる。
本発明の生分解性積層体は、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂層の少なくとも一方の面に、接着層を介してPVA系樹脂層が積層されてなるものであり、通常3~15層、好ましくは3~7層、特に好ましくは5~7層の層構造を有する。その構成は特に限定されないが、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂層をa、PVA系樹脂層をb、接着層をcとするとき、a/c/b、a/c/b/c/a、a/b/c/b/c/b/aなど、任意の組み合わせが可能である。かかる脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂層、PVA系樹脂層、接着層は、同一のものでもよく、異なったものであってもよい。
溶融押出時の溶融成形温度は、通常170~250℃、好ましくは180~230℃の範囲である。
特に、本発明の生分解性積層体において、PVA系樹脂として側鎖に1,2-ジオール構造を有するPVA系樹脂を用いると、延伸性が良好となる。
例えば、多層構造体シートの両耳を把んで拡幅する一軸延伸、二軸延伸;多層構造体シートを金型を用いて延伸加工する深絞成形法、真空成形法、圧空成形法、真空圧空成形法等の金型を用いた成形法;パリソン等の予備成形された多層構造体を、チューブラー延伸法、延伸ブロー法等で加工する方法が挙げられる。
本発明の生分解性積層体は、各種食品、薬品、雑貨等の液状物や粉粒物、固形物を包装するための包装用資材、農業用資材、建築資材等幅広い用途において好適に用いられる。その具体的用途としては、射出成形品(例えば、生鮮食品のトレー、コーヒーカプセル、ファーストフードの容器、野外レジャー製品等)、押出成形品(フィルム、例えば、釣り糸、漁網、植生ネット、保水シート等)、中空成形品(ボトル等)等が挙げられる。
中でも、より好ましくは、包装用資材、例えば、包装用フィルム、袋、トレー、ボトル、緩衝用発泡体、魚箱等、及び、農業用資材、例えば、マルチングフィルム、トンネルフィルム、ハウスフィルム、日覆い、防草シート、畦シート、発芽シート、植生マット、育苗床、植木鉢等が挙げられる。
以下の実施例における各種の製造条件や評価結果の値は、本発明の実施態様における上限又は下限の好ましい値としての意味をもつものであり、好ましい範囲は前記した上限又は下限の値と、下記実施例の値又は実施例同士の値との組み合わせで規定される範囲であってもよい。
JIS K7210(1999年)に基づき、メルトインデクサーを用いて190℃、荷重2.16kgにて測定した。単位はg/10分である。ただし、G-Polymerは210℃、荷重2.16kgで測定した。
実施例及び比較例で使用した樹脂、その他の原料は下記の通りである。
「PBS」は「ポリブチレンサクシネート」、「PBSA」は「ポリブチレンサクシネートアジペート」、「PLA」は「ポリ乳酸」、「PBAT」は「ポリブチレンアジペートテレフタレート」を示す。

PHBH56質量部とPBSA24質量部とタルク20質量%をドライブレンドした混合物を、二軸押出機TEX30α59.5AW-15V(D=30mmφ、L/D=60、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度140℃、スクリュー回転数200rpm、押出量20kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物(a-1)のペレットを得た。脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物(a-1)のMFRは8.0g/10分であった。
PHBH28質量部とPBSA42質量部とタルク30質量部をドライブレンドした混合物を、二軸押出機TEX30α59.5AW-15V(D=30mmφ、L/D=60、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度140℃、スクリュー回転数200rpm、押出量20kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物(a-2)のペレットを得た。脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物(a-2)のMFRは13g/10分であった。
PBAT100質量部を用い、これに無水マレイン酸を0.5質量部、ラジカル開始剤としてパーヘキサ25Bを0.25質量部をドライブレンドにより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機TEX25αIII-52.5CW-3V(D=25mmφ、L/D=53、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度210℃、スクリュー回転数200rpmで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-1)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-1)のMFRは0.3g/10分であった。
PBAT100質量部を用い、これに無水マレイン酸を0.35質量部、ラジカル開始剤としてパーヘキサ25Bを0.25質量部、Songnox1010を0.1質量部、Irgafos168を0.1質量部をドライブレンドにより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機TEX25αIII-52.5CW-3V(D=25mmφ、L/D=53、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度210℃、スクリュー回転数240rpm、押出量10kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-2)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-2)のMFRは0.4g/10分であった。
PBAT100質量部を用い、これに無水マレイン酸を0.5質量部、ラジカル開始剤としてパーヘキサ25Bを0.3質量部、Songnox1010を0.1質量部、Irgafos168を0.1質量部をドライブレンドにより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機TEX25αIII-52.5CW-3V(D=25mmφ、L/D=53、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度210℃、スクリュー回転数240rpm、押出量10kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-3)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-3)のMFRは0.5g/10分であった。
PBATを70質量部、PBSAを30質量部用い、これに無水マレイン酸を0.35質量部、ラジカル開始剤としてパーヘキサ25Bを0.25質量部、Songnox1010を0.3質量部、Irgafos168を0.3質量部をドライブレンドにより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機TEX25αIII-52.5CW-3V(D=25mmφ、L/D=53、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度210℃、スクリュー回転数240rpm、押出量10kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-4)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-4)のMFRは0.1g/10分であった。
PBATを80質量部、PBSAを20質量部用い、これに無水マレイン酸を0.35質量部、ラジカル開始剤としてパーヘキサ25Bを0.25質量部、Songnox1010を0.3質量部、Irgafos168を0.3質量部をドライブレンドにより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機TEX25αIII-52.5CW-3V(D=25mmφ、L/D=53、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度210℃、スクリュー回転数240rpm、押出量10kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-5)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-5)のMFRは0.2g/10分であった。
上記変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-3)80質量部、PBSA20質量部、Songnox1010を0.1質量部、Irgafos168を0.1質量部をドライブレンドより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機PCM30-30-2V(D=30mmφ、L/D=30、(株)池貝社製)を用いて、温度160℃、スクリュー回転数250rpm、押出量12kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-6)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-6)のMFRは1.6g/10分であった。
上記変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-3)70質量部、PBSA30質量部、Songnox1010を0.1質量部、Irgafos168を0.1質量部をドライブレンドより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機PCM30-30-2V(D=30mmφ、L/D=30、(株)池貝社製)を用いて、温度160℃、スクリュー回転数250rpm、押出量12kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-7)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-7)のMFRは1.8g/10分であった。
上記変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-3)60質量部、PBSA40質量部、Songnox1010を0.1質量部、Irgafos168を0.1質量部をドライブレンドより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機PCM30-30-2V(D=30mmφ、L/D=30、(株)池貝社製)を用いて、温度160℃、スクリュー回転数250rpm、押出量12kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-8)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-8)のMFRは2.2g/10分であった。
上記変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-3)50質量部、PBSA50質量部、Songnox1010を0.1質量部、Irgafos168を0.1質量部をドライブレンドより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機PCM30-30-2V(D=30mmφ、L/D=30、(株)池貝社製)を用いて、温度160℃、スクリュー回転数250rpm、押出量12kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-9)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-9)のMFRは2.7g/10分であった。
PBATを80質量部、PBSAを20質量部用い、これに無水マレイン酸を0.5質量部、ラジカル開始剤としてパーヘキサ25Bを0.3質量部、Songnox1010を0.3質量部、Irgafos168を0.3質量部、HostanoxP-EPQ0.3質量部をドライブレンドにより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機TEX25αIII-52.5CW-3V(D=25mmφ、L/D=53、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度210℃、スクリュー回転数240rpm、押出量10kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-10)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-10)のMFRは0.7g/10分であった。
PBSA100質量部を用い、これに無水マレイン酸を1.5質量部、ラジカル開始剤としてナイパーBMT0.2質量部をドライブレンドにより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機TEX25αIII-52.5CW-3V(D=25mmφ、L/D=53、(株)日本製鋼所製)を用いて、温度200℃、スクリュー回転数240rpm、押出量10kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-11)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-11)のMFRは1.3g/10分であった。
上記変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-1)50質量部と変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-11)50質量部をドライブレンドより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機PCM30-30-2V(D=30mmφ、L/D=30、(株)池貝社製)を用いて、温度200℃、スクリュー回転数150rpm、押出量10kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-12)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-12)のMFRは0.5g/10分であった。
上記変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-1)70質量部と変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-11)30質量部をドライブレンドより配合した混合物を、二軸押出機PCM30-30-2V(D=30mmφ、L/D=30、(株)池貝社製)を用いて、温度200℃、スクリュー回転数150rpm、押出量10kg/hで溶融混練した。その後、溶融混練物を紐状に押し出し、冷却後カッティングし、変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-13)のペレットを得た。変性ポリエステル系樹脂(c-13)のMFRは0.3g/10分であった。
各層の樹脂として表1,2に示すものを用い、Tダイ成形機を用いて、a/c/b/c/a(aは表面層、cは接着層、bは中間層(バリア層))の3種5層積層シートを成形した。成形温度は210℃、ラインスピードは5m/minとし、各層の厚さは、a/c/b/c/a=565/20/30/20/565μmの層構成で、総厚み1200μmのシートを得た。
各層の樹脂として表2,3に示すものを用い、Tダイ成形機を用いて、a/c/b/c/a(aは表面層、cは接着層、bは中間層(バリア層))の3種5層積層シートを成形した。成形温度は210℃、ラインスピードは5m/minとし、各層の厚さは、a/c/b/c/a=360/20/30/20/360μmの層構成で、総厚み790μmのシートを得た。
なお、表1~3中、一次加工性の評価の「〇」は積層シートを成形できたことを示す。
積層シートを15mm幅の短冊状に切出し、a層の1層とc/b/c/aの4層との間の接着強度を、T型剥離試験により剥離速度300mm/分で測定し、測定値を下記基準で評価した。
◎:接着強度20N以上又は材料破壊し測定不可(接着強度高い)
〇:接着強度5N以上20N未満
△:接着強度1N以上5N未満
×:接着強度1N未満
JIS Z0208(1976年)に基づき、カップ法にて測定した。測定条件は、40℃、90%RHで評価し、測定値を下記基準で評価した。
〇:水蒸気透過率が15cc/m2・day以下(水蒸気バリア性が高い)
×:水蒸気透過率が15cc/m2・day未満
JIS K7126(2006年)に基づき、温度23℃、湿度65%RHの条件で、米国、モコン(MOCON)社製の測定機(機種名、オクストラン(OXTRAN))にて測定し、測定値を下記基準で評価した。
〇:酸素透過率が10g/m2・day以下(酸素バリア性が高い)
×:酸素透過率が10g/m2・day未満
実施例1~10の接着層に用いた変性ポリエステル系樹脂c-1~c-10と同じ樹脂を用いて、それぞれTダイ成形機を用いて100μm厚の単層シートを得た。得られた単層シートを微生物活性の土に保管した後、外観観察、質量測定を行い、下記基準で生分解性を評価した。生分解性は、土中に保管後10週間保管し、2週間毎に取り出して測定を行った(計5回)。その測定した中で、最も重量減少幅が大きかった2週間の重量減少率を最大重量減少率とした。そして、その最大重量減少率の傾きから52週目を算出した。評価温度は28±2℃とした。
◎:52週目の計算値で90%以上分解する。
〇:52週目の計算値で50%以上90%未満で分解する。
△:52週目の計算値で15%以上50%未満で分解する。
×:52週目の計算値で分解率が15%以下である。
微生物活性した土に上記の方法で得られた積層シートを12ヶ月間保管した後、外観観察、質量測定を行い、下記基準で生分解性を評価した。評価温度は28±2℃とした。
〇:完全に生分解した。
×:ほとんど分解しなかった。
Tダイ成形機を用いて接着樹脂の単層シートを成形した。成形温度は160℃、ラインスピードは2m/minとし、厚み100μmのシートを得て、下記基準で外観を評価した。
〇:単層シートに大きなブツ、フィッシュアイ、ムラがほとんど確認されない。
△:外観不良個所が多いが、単層シートの成形は可能
×:単層シート(フィルム)成形時の不良(穴あき、破れ)が多い。
実施例1~16及び比較例1,2で得られた積層シートを用いて、浅野研究所製FKS型小型多機能真空圧空成形機を用い、上下ヒーター出力を60%~90%にて、図1に記載の形状の金型1でプラグアシスト真空成形法により容器を作成した。
得られた成形品について、以下の耐熱試験を行った。結果を表1~3に示す。表1~3中、二次加工性の評価の「〇」は容器を成形できたことを示す。
成形品を90℃のお湯につけ、容器の状態を確認し、下記基準で評価した。
〇:全く変化なし
×:変形した
Claims (5)
- 脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂層の少なくとも一方の面に接着層を介してポリビニルアルコール系樹脂層が積層されてなる生分解性積層体であって、該脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂層が、脂肪族ジオールに由来する繰返し単位と脂肪族ジカルボン酸に由来する繰返し単位とを主構成単位として含む脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)、3-ヒドロキシブチレート単位を主構成単位として含有するポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)及び無機フィラー(C)を含む脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物よりなることを特徴とする生分解性積層体。
- 前記脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物に含まれる脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)とポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)の質量比が75/25~10/90である、請求項1に記載の生分解性積層体。
- 前記脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂組成物における脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)とポリヒドロキシアルカノエート(B)と該無機フィラー(C)の合計量に対する無機フィラー(C)の存在割合が15~50質量%である、請求項1又は2に記載の生分解性積層体。
- 前記無機フィラー(C)がタルク、炭酸カルシウム、ゼオライト、マイカ及びクレイからなる群より選ばれる1種又は2種以上である、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の生分解性積層体。
- 前記接着層が、脂肪族ポリエステル系樹脂(A)及び/又は脂肪族-芳香族ポリエステル系樹脂を主として含有するポリエステル系樹脂(d)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸及び/又はその無水物によりグラフト変性して得られるものを含む変性ポリエステル系樹脂(D)よりなる接着性樹脂組成物からなる、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の生分解性積層体。
