Description

一実施形態では、前記フッ素エラストマー材料はバイトン(登録商標)を含む。

Claims (21)
- コンポジットを形成するためのエラストマー工具であって、
フッ素エラストマーを含み、前記エラストマー工具の外面を実質的に形成する不活性エラストマー外層と、
前記不活性エラストマー外層に接着されており、シリコーンを含むエラストマー内層と、
を備え、
前記不活性エラストマー外層は、前記不活性エラストマー外層が前記フッ素エラストマー自身のデュロメータおよび弾性よりも前記シリコーンのデュロメータおよび弾性に近いデュロメータおよび弾性を示すような厚さを有する、エラストマー工具。 - 前記フッ素エラストマーはフッ素ゴムである、請求項1に記載のエラストマー工具。
- 前記エラストマー内層は、ブチルゴム、またはエチレン・プロピレン・ジエン・モノマー・ゴム(EPDM)のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載のエラストマー工具。
- 前記不活性エラストマー外層と前記エラストマー内層との間のエラストマー境界層をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のエラストマー工具。
- 前記エラストマー境界層は、前記不活性エラストマー外層と前記エラストマー内層とを接着させる、請求項4に記載のエラストマー工具。
- 前記エラストマー境界層はビニル-メチル-ポリシロキサン(VMQ)シリコーンを含む、請求項5に記載のエラストマー工具。
- 前記エラストマー工具はマンドレルであり、前記エラストマー内層は前記マンドレルの最内部を形成する、請求項1に記載のエラストマー工具。
- 前記エラストマー工具は袋体であり、前記エラストマー内層は内部キャビティを実質的に形成し、前記エラストマー工具は前記内部キャビティに陽圧を与えることによって膨張可能である、請求項1に記載のエラストマー工具。
- 前記エラストマー工具はシートである、請求項1に記載のエラストマー工具。
- 前記フッ素エラストマーは前記シリコーンより大きなデュロメータを有する、請求項1に記載のエラストマー工具。
- フッ素エラストマー材料を含む不活性フッ素エラストマー層をモールド内に作成する不活性フッ素エラストマー層作成工程と、
シリコーンを含むベース材料を前記モールドに付与する工程と、
前記不活性フッ素エラストマー層および前記ベース材料を一緒に硬化させ、エラストマー工具を作成する硬化工程と、を備え、
前記不活性フッ素エラストマー層は、前記フッ素エラストマー層が前記フッ素エラストマー自身のデュロメータおよび弾性よりも前記シリコーンのデュロメータおよび弾性に近いデュロメータおよび弾性を示すような厚さを有する、方法。 - フッ素エラストマー材料を含むフッ素エラストマー層をモールド内に作成するフッ素エラストマー層作成工程と、
前記フッ素エラストマー材料とは異なるベース材料を前記モールドに付与する工程と、
前記フッ素エラストマー層および前記ベース材料を一緒に硬化させ、エラストマー工具を作成する硬化工程と、を備える方法であって、
前記フッ素エラストマー層作成工程は、
前記フッ素エラストマー材料を溶剤に溶解してフッ素エラストマー溶液を生成する工程と、
前記フッ素エラストマー溶液を前記モールドに付与する工程と、
前記フッ素エラストマー溶液を乾燥させて、前記フッ素エラストマー層を前記モールド内に作成する工程と、を含む方法。 - 前記ベース材料は前記フッ素エラストマー層に対し付与され、
前記フッ素エラストマー層および前記ベース材料を一緒に硬化させる工程によって、前記フッ素エラストマー層が前記ベース材料に対し接着される、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記フッ素エラストマー材料とも前記ベース材料とも異なる境界材料を含む境界層を前記フッ素エラストマー層に付与する工程をさらに備える、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化工程は、前記フッ素エラストマー層、前記境界層、および前記ベース材料を一緒に硬化させ、エラストマー工具を作成する工程を含み、前記境界層によって、前記フッ素エラストマー層が前記ベース材料に対し接着される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記フッ素エラストマー材料はフッ素ゴムを含み、
前記境界材料はビニル-メチル-ポリシロキサン(VMQ)シリコーンを含み、前記ベース材料は、シリコーン、ブチルゴム、またはエチレン・プロピレン・ジエン・モノマー・ゴム(EPDM)のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項15に記載の方法。 - エラストマー工具上にコンポジット・プリプレグを配置する工程であって、前記エラストマー工具は、
フッ素エラストマーを含み前記エラストマー工具の外面を実質的に形成する不活性エラストマー外層と、
前記不活性エラストマー外層に接着されており、シリコーンを含むエラストマー内層と、を備える、工程と、
前記エラストマー工具上の前記コンポジット・プリプレグを硬化させて、硬化コンポジット構造を形成する工程と、
前記硬化コンポジット構造から前記エラストマー工具を除去する工程と、を備え、
前記不活性エラストマー外層は、前記不活性エラストマー外層が前記フッ素エラストマー自身のデュロメータおよび弾性よりも前記シリコーンのデュロメータおよび弾性に近いデュロメータおよび弾性を示すような厚さを有する、方法。 - 前記コンポジット・プリプレグは前記不活性エラストマー外層に接触し、前記エラストマー内層に接触しない、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記フッ素エラストマーはフッ素ゴムを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記エラストマー内層は、ブチルゴム、またはエチレン・プロピレン・ジエン・モノマー・ゴム(EPDM)のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記不活性エラストマー外層の厚さは、0.127mm(0.005インチ)であり、
前記エラストマー内層の厚さは、0.178cm(0.070インチ)以上である、請求項1に記載のエラストマー工具。
