- 荷重を検出するための複数のセンサ部がマトリクス状に配置された荷重センサと、
前記荷重センサからの出力に基づいて前記荷重センサ上の載置物の状況を検出する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記荷重センサからの出力に基づいて前記荷重センサの検出領域上における荷重分布を検出し、
前記荷重分布に基づいて前記載置物が人または動物と物の何れであるかを判別し、
前記載置物が物であると判別した場合、前記荷重分布の時間的変化に基づいて、当該物に人または動物が載っているか否かを判別し、
前記荷重分布の時間的変化が10Hz以下の場合に、前記物に人または動物が載っていると判別する、
ことを特徴とする載置物検出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の載置物検出装置において、
前記荷重センサは、所定の対象物に組み込まれて使用され、
前記制御部は、前記荷重センサが前記対象物に組み込まれた後の前記各センサ部の検出値を基準として、前記荷重分布を検出する、

前記荷重分布に基づいて前記載置物が人または動物と物の何れであるかを判別し、
前記載置物が物であると判別した場合、前記加速度に関する情報と前記荷重分布の時間的変化とに基づいて、当該物に人または動物が載っているか否かを判別し、
前記荷重センサからの出力に基づく前記荷重分布の時間的変化が、前記加速度により生じる前記荷重分布の時間的変化に整合しない場合に、前記物に人または動物が載っていると判別する、

前記加速度が閾値以上である場合、前記物に人または動物が載っていると判別することを中止する、

前記荷重センサからの出力に基づいて前記荷重センサの検出領域上における荷重分布を検出し、
前記荷重分布に基づいて前記載置物が人または動物と物の何れであるかを判別し、
前記載置物が物であると判別した場合、前記荷重分布の時間的変化に基づいて、当該物に人または動物が載っているか否かを判別し、
前記物に人または動物が載っているか否かの前記判別において、前記制御部は、
載置物が物であると判別された第1の荷重センサからの出力に基づいて当該第1の荷重センサにおける荷重分布の第1の時間的変化を取得し、
載置物が物であると判別された他の第2の荷重センサからの出力に基づいて当該第2の荷重センサにおける荷重分布の第2の時間的変化を取得し、
前記第1の時間的変化と前記第2の時間的変化とが整合しないことに基づいて、前記第1の荷重センサ上の物に人または動物が載っていると判別する、
ことを特徴とする載置物検出装置。 - 請求項1ないし5の何れか一項に記載の載置物検出装置において、
前記制御部は、前記物の上に人および動物が載っていないと判別した後、前記荷重分布の時間的変化を監視して、前記物に人または動物が載っているか否かの判別を継続する、
ことを特徴とする載置物検出装置。 - 載置物検出装置と、
車両に対する所定の制御を行う車両制御部と、を備え、
前記載置物検出装置は、
荷重を検出するための複数のセンサ部がマトリクス状に配置され、前記車両の座席に設置された荷重センサと、
前記荷重センサからの出力に基づいて前記荷重センサ上の載置物の状況を検出する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記荷重センサからの出力に基づいて前記荷重センサの検出領域上における荷重分布を検出し、
前記荷重分布に基づいて前記載置物が人または動物と物の何れであるかを判別し、
前記載置物が物であると判別した場合、前記荷重分布の時間的変化に基づいて、当該物に人または動物が載っているか否かを判別し、
前記車両制御部は、前記載置物検出装置の検出結果に基づいて前記車両内に人または動物が放置されていると判定した場合に、当該放置を前記車両の外部に報知する制御を実行する、
ことを特徴とする車両制御システム。 - 請求項7に記載の車両制御システムにおいて、
前記車両制御部は、運転手の退出に関する所定の退出条件が満たされた場合に、前記車両内に人または動物が放置されているか否かの判定を開始する、
ことを特徴とする車両制御システム。 - 請求項7または8に記載の車両制御システムにおいて、
前記車両制御部は、前記載置物検出装置の検出結果に基づいて運転席に人がいないと判定した場合に、前記運転席以外の座席に人または動物がいるか否かに基づいて、前記車両内に人または動物が放置されているか否かを判定する、
ことを特徴とする車両制御システム。 - 請求項9に記載の車両制御システムにおいて、
前記車両制御部は、前記載置物検出装置の検出結果に基づいて前記運転席に人がいないと判定した場合、前記載置物検出装置の検出結果に基づいて運転席以外の座席に人および動物がいないと判定しても、前記車両内に人または動物が放置されているか否かの判定を継続する、
ことを特徴とする車両制御システム。 - 請求項7ないし10の何れか一項に記載の車両制御システムにおいて、
前記車両制御部は、前記車両における人または動物の放置時間に応じて、報知の形態を切り替える、
ことを特徴とする車両制御システム。 - 請求項1ないし6の何れか一項に記載の載置物検出装置と、
車両に対する所定の制御を行う車両制御部と、を備え、
前記荷重センサは、前記車両の座席に設置され、
前記車両制御部は、前記載置物検出装置の検出結果に基づいて物の上に人または動物がいる座席を特定し、特定した座席に対するエアバックの動作を停止させる、
ことを特徴とする車両制御システム。
