Description
Claims (18)
- 脊椎腫瘍切除用の医療用装置であって、前記医療用装置が、
第1管状導電体と、
管状絶縁体であって、前記管状絶縁体の近位端部が前記第1管状導電体の近位にあり、かつ前記管状絶縁体の遠位端部が前記第1管状導電体の遠位にあるように、前記第1管状導電体を介して延在する管状絶縁体と、
第2管状導電体であって、前記第2管状導電体の遠位部分が前記絶縁体の遠位に配置されるように、前記管状絶縁体を介して延在し、脊椎腫瘍の切除作業中に、前記第2管状導電体の少なくとも近位部分が、前記第1管状導電体の近位部分に対して固定される、第2管状導電体と、
直線状の構成から非直線状の構成へと移行するように構成される、前記医療用装置の関節式遠位部分と、を備え、
前記医療用装置が、患者の椎骨内の切除のために作動した場合に、前記患者の前記椎骨内の組織を介して、前記第2管状導電体の前記遠位部分と前記第1管状導電体との間に電流が流れるように構成される、脊椎腫瘍切除用の医療用装置。 - 前記第1管状導電体の遠位端部及び前記第2管状導電体の前記遠位部分が、前記管状絶縁体の露出部分だけ長手方向にオフセットされる、請求項1に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記管状絶縁体の前記露出部分が、0.3cm~1.0cmの間の長さを有する、請求項2に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記医療用装置の前記関節式遠位部分が、前記患者の前記椎骨内の組織を機械的に変位させるように構成される、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記患者の前記椎骨内の骨を貫通するように構成される、先が尖った遠位端部を更に備える、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記医療用装置の前記関節式遠位部分が、単一平面のみにおいて、前記直線状の構成から前記非直線状の構成に移行するように構成される、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置。
- ハンドルを更に備え、前記ハンドルの操作が、前記関節式遠位部分の変位を引き起こす、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記第2管状導電体のチャネル内に少なくとも部分的に配置された細長いシャフトを更に備え、前記細長いシャフトの遠位端部が、前記第2管状導電体の遠位端部付近で前記第2管状導電体に取り付けられ、これにより、前記第2管状導電体の近位端部に対する前記細長いシャフトの変位が、前記医療用装置の前記関節式遠位部分の変位を引き起こす、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記第2管状導電体のユーティリティチャネルと流体連通するサイドポートを更に備える、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記第2管状導電体が、封止された遠位端部を備える、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記第2管状導電体の前記遠位部分に取り付けられた外スリーブを更に備え、前記外スリーブの大部分が外径を有し、前記第1管状導電体の前記外径と実質的に同一である、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記外スリーブが、蛍光透視可視化を容易にするための1つ以上の突出部又は貫入部を備える、請求項11に記載の医療用装置。
- 脊椎腫瘍切除用の医療用装置であって、前記医療用装置が、
第1管状導電体と、
前記第1管状導電体を介して延在する管状絶縁体と、
第2管状導電体であって、前記第2管状導電体の遠位部分が前記絶縁体の遠位に配置されるように、前記管状絶縁体を介して延在し、前記第2管状導電体の近位開口部から前記第2管状導電体の前記遠位端部における遠位開口部まで延在するユーティリティチャネルを形成し、脊椎腫瘍の切除作業中に、前記第2管状導電体の少なくとも近位部分が、前記第1管状導電体の近位部分に対して固定される、第2管状導電体と、
前記第2管状導電体の近位に配置されたポートであって、前記ユーティリティチャネルの前記近位開口部へのアクセスを提供するように構成されるポートと、
直線状の構成から非直線状の構成へと移行するように構成される、前記医療用装置の関節式遠位部分と、を備え、
前記医療用装置が、患者の椎骨内の切除のために作動した場合に、前記患者の前記椎骨内の組織を介して、前記第2管状導電体の前記遠位部分と前記第1管状導電体との間に電流が流れるように構成される、脊椎腫瘍切除用の医療用装置。 - 熱エネルギー送達プローブであって、前記熱エネルギー送達プローブが前記ポート内へと完全に挿入された場合に、前記ユーティリティチャネル内に少なくとも部分的に配置されるように構成された熱エネルギー送達プローブを更に備える、請求項13に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記熱エネルギー送達プローブが、前記医療用装置の1つ以上の電気接点に接触するように構成され、それにより、前記患者の組織への熱エネルギーの送達のための回路を形成する、請求項14に記載の医療用装置。
- 前記熱エネルギー送達プローブがスタイレットを更に備え、かつ1つ以上の温度センサが前記スタイレットに取り付けられる、請求項14に記載の医療用装置。
- 生検試料を得るための細長い切断器具を更に備え、前記細長い切断器具が、前記ポート内へと完全に挿入された場合に、前記ユーティリティチャネルの前記遠位端部の前記遠位開口部を介して延在する、請求項13に記載の医療用装置。
- セメント送達カートリッジを更に備え、前記セメント送達カートリッジが、前記ユーティリティチャネルを介した、第2管状導電体の前記遠位端部における前記遠位開口部からのセメントの送達を容易にするように構成される、請求項13に記載の医療用装置。
