Description
更に本発明は、上記オルガノシランを含む表面処理剤、該表面処理剤で処理して成る物品を提供する。
R1は、
上記式において、pは互いに独立に1~6の整数であり、Rは水素原子又は炭素数1~6のアルキル基であり、Xは単結合又は炭素原子数1~6の2価炭化水素基であり、R4及びR3’はビニル基又はアリル基である。

式中、R5は炭素数1~20、特に1~15の、置換又は非置換の一価炭化水素基であればよい。非置換の一価炭化水素基としては、好ましくはメチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ビニル基、及びフェニル基が挙げられる。置換の一価炭化水素基としては、好ましくはエポキシ基、(メタ)アクリロキシ基、メルカプト基、アミノ基、アミノアルキルアミノ基、アルキルアミノ基、イソシアナート基、ポリエーテル基、ハロゲン置換アルキル基、パーフルオロアルキル基、及びパーフルオロポリエーテル基が挙げられる。A’は上記式(I)にて定義したAの選択肢と同じである。好ましくはメトキシ基、エトキシ基である。qは0~3の整数であり、特に0~2が好ましい。
[合成例1]
アリルイソチオシアネート(東京化成工業(株)製)198.3g(2.0mol)を秤量し、N-2-(アミノエチル)-3-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン(KBM-603、信越化学工業(株)製)222.4g(1.0mol)を滴下して黄色透明液体として下記構造式(VI)で表される化合物を得た。IRスペクトル測定により原料のイソチオシアネート基由来の2,100cm-1付近の吸収ピークが完全に消失したことを確認した。また、1H-NMRスペクトル測定の結果から原料のN-2-(アミノエチル)-3-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシランに特徴的なケミカルシフトの消失を確認した。得られたオルガノシランは25℃で液体であり、屈折率1.557、揮発分6.7質量%、純度97.9%を有した(オルガノシラン1)。
得られたオルガノシランの1H-NMRのデータを以下に示す。

アリルイソチオシアネート(東京化成工業(株)製)297.5g(3.0mol)を秤量し、3-[2-(2-アミノエチルアミノエチルアミノ)プロピル]トリメトキシシラン(LS-3750、信越化学工業(株)製)562.9g(1.0mol)を滴下して黄色透明液体として下記構造式(VII)で表される化合物を得た。IRスペクトル測定により原料のイソチオシアネート基由来の2,100cm-1付近の吸収ピークが完全に消失したことを確認した。また、1H-NMRスペクトル測定の結果から原料のLS-3750に特徴的なケミカルシフトの消失を確認した。得られたオルガノシランは25℃で液体であり、屈折率1.585、及び揮発分5.6質量%、純度90.0%を有した(オルガノシラン2)。

1H-NMR(300MHz,CDCl3)、0.68 (2H, m), 1.47 (1H, bs), 1.62 (2H, m), 1.80 (1H, m), 2.63 (1H, t, J = 5.3), 2.69 (1H, t, J = 4.3), 2.74 (2H, s), 2.81 (1H, t, J = 4.4), 3.42 (1H, bs), 3.59 (9H, m), 3.82 (1H, bs), 3.90 (1H, bs), 4.06 (1H, bs), 4.32 (1H, t, J = 4.1), 4.34 (1H, t, J = 4.1), 5.30 (2H, m), 5.93 (1H, m).
アリルイソチオシアネート(東京化成工業(株)製)99.15g(1.0mol)を秤量し、3-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン(KBM-903、信越化学工業(株)製)179.29g(1.0mol)を滴下して黄色透明液体として下記構造式(VIII)で表される化合物を得た。IRスペクトル測定により原料のイソチオシアネート基由来の2,100cm-1付近の吸収ピークが完全に消失したことを確認した。得られたオルガノシランは25℃で液体であり、屈折率1.513、及び揮発分16.6質量%を有した(オルガノシラン3)。
得られたオルガノシランの1H-NMRのデータを以下に示す。
1H-NMR(300MHz,CDCl3)、0.64 (2H, t, J = 5.9), 1.67 (1H, t, J = 5.5), 1.70 (1H, t, J = 5.5), 3.39 (2H, bs), 3.53 (9H, s), 4.07 (2H, bs), 5.21 (2H, m), 5.85 (1H, m), 6.09 (2H, bs).
下記実施例1~6及び比較例1~12で使用したオルガノシランは以下の通りである。
1)合成例1で得たオルガノシラン1
2)合成例2で得たオルガノシラン2
3)比較合成例1で得たオルガノシラン3
4)3-メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシラン(KBM-803、信越化学工業(株)社製)
5)3-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン(KBM-903、信越化学工業(株)社製)
6)3-チオシアナトプロピルトリメトキシシラン(信越化学工業(株)社製)
上記から選ばれるオルガノシラン、メチルエチルケトン(MEK、東京化成工業(株)社製)、及びCAT-AC(アルミ系硬化触媒、信越化学工業(株)社製)を表1に示す質量部で混合し、表面処理剤を調製した。得られた表面処理剤を、アクリル基材(アクリライト、三菱ケミカル(株)社製)、ガラス基材、またはPET基材(コスモシャインA4300、東洋紡(株)社製)にバーコーターNo.10を用いて塗布し、120℃に設定した乾燥機で30分間加熱することで、表面処理剤で基材を表面処理した物品を得た。
(1)外観観察
目視により表面にハジキ、ムラまたは白化が確認されたものは不良、ハジキ等が確認されずに透明性を保って成膜されたものは良と評価した。
(2)密着試験
JIS K5600-5-6に準じて25マスによるクロスカット試験を行った。(剥離せず残ったマスの数)/25を表1~3に記載した。
(3)鉛筆硬度
JIS K5600-5-4に準じ、750g荷重にて鉛筆硬度を測定した。
上記実施例1~6で得た被膜物品及び比較例2及び3で得た被膜物品上に、下記の方法に従い、活性エネルギー線硬化性組成物(コーティング組成物)から形成される膜を形成した。
1,6-ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート(HDDA、大阪有機化学工業(株)社製)10質量部、メチルエチルケトン(MEK、東京化成工業(株)社製)10質量部、ダロキュア1173(ラジカル系光重合開始剤、BASF社製)0.05質量部を混合し、コーティング組成物を得た。得られたコーティング組成物を上記実施例又は比較例で得た被膜物品表面にバーコーターNo.10で塗布し、120℃に設定した乾燥機で20分間加熱後、高圧水銀灯で積算照射量600mJ/cm2となるように光を照射して、コーティング組成物を硬化させた。
得られた物品の外観、密着性および鉛筆硬度を、上記と同じ方法にて評価した。結果を下記表4に示す。
これに対し、1分子中にチオウレア結合を2個以上含有する本発明のオルガノシランを含む表面処理剤を用いて処理した基材は、ハジキ、ムラおよび白化が見られず、優れた密着性および表面硬度を兼ね備えている。また、表4に示されるように、本発明の表面処理剤で処理された基材表面にハードコート層を形成した場合にも、外観良好で密着性と鉛筆硬度に優れる被膜物品が得られた。
Claims (8)
- 下記構造式(I)で表されるオルガノシラン
- R4及びR3’がビニル基またはアリル基である、請求項1記載のオルガノシラン。
- 1分子中にチオウレア結合を2個以上有する、請求項1又は2記載のオルガノシラン。
- 請求項1~3のいずれか1項記載のオルガノシランを含む表面処理剤。
- 水又は有機溶剤の少なくとも一方をさらに含む、請求項4記載の表面処理剤。
- 硬化触媒をさらに含む、請求項4または5記載の表面処理剤。
- 基材の少なくとも1の面を、請求項4~6のいずれか1項記載の表面処理剤で処理して成る物品。
- 請求項7記載の物品において、硬化性組成物を前記表面処理された面にさらに塗工し、硬化して成る、物品。
