Claims (3)
- 気筒列方向に並んで配列された複数の吸気ポートを有するシリンダヘッドと、
前記気筒列方向に延びるサージタンクと、前記サージタンクと複数の前記吸気ポートとを前記気筒列方向の配列順に連絡する複数の分岐管と、を有する吸気マニホールドと、
前記吸気マニホールドの上方に配置され前記気筒列方向に排気ガスが通過するEGRクーラと、を備えた車両用エンジンであって、
前記吸気マニホールドを前記気筒列方向から見た場合、前記吸気マニホールドの上面は、その最上部が上下方向で前記シリンダヘッドの上端付近に位置するように湾曲する上向きの凸形状に形成され、
前記最上部よりも前記サージタンク側の前記吸気マニホールドの上面は、前記最上部から斜め下側へ延びる傾斜面に形成され、
前記シリンダヘッドの上端と前記傾斜面とがブラケットにより連結され、
前記ブラケットの上側に前記EGRクーラが固定されていることを特徴とする車両用エンジン。 - 前記サージタンクの上流端が、複数の前記吸気ポートのうち前記気筒列方向における端部に位置する外側吸気ポートの側方に配置され、
前記サージタンクの下流端が、複数の前記吸気ポートのうち前記気筒列方向における中央部に位置する内側吸気ポートの側方に配置され、
前記サージタンクに流入する空気の量を調整する吸気部品が、前記サージタンクの上流端に連結され、
前記ブラケットは、前記シリンダヘッドに連結されるシリンダヘッド側連結部と、前記サージタンクに連結されるサージタンク側連結部と、を有し、
前記シリンダヘッド側連結部は、前記気筒列方向で前記サージタンクの下流端の近傍に配置され、
前記サージタンク側連結部は、前記気筒列方向で前記サージタンクの上流端の近傍に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用エンジン。 - 前記EGRクーラは、前記気筒列方向に延び、前記気筒列方向の端部に排気ガスを取り入れる排気ガス取入部を有し、前記排気ガス取入部が前記外側吸気ポートに連結される前記分岐管の上方に位置するよう前記気筒列方向に位置決めされ、
前記ブラケットは、前記排気ガス取入部の下方へ延びる延長部を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両用エンジン。
