Claims (13)
- 所定の燃料油をエンジンの燃料として使用する途中で他の種類の燃料油を前記エンジンの燃料に転換する船舶用燃料油の転換システムにおいて、
燃料油を供給する供給部;と
前記供給部から燃料油が供給されて、燃料油を循環させる循環部;と
前記供給部及び前記循環部を制御する制御部;とを備え、
前記供給部は、それぞれ異なる種類の燃料油を貯蔵する複数のタンクと、これらの異なる種類の燃料油を混合したものを混合燃料油とし、この混合燃料油を前記循環部に供給する供給ポンプと、この供給ポンプの下流に設けられて、前記循環部に送られる混合燃料油の流量を測定する第1流量計とを備え、
前記エンジンは前記循環部から混合燃料油が供給され、前記エンジンで使用されずに残った混合燃料油が前記循環部で再循環され、
前記制御部は、前記複数のタンクから排出される各燃料油の流量をそれぞれ制御して、前記エンジンに送られる混合燃料油の混合割合を調節すると共に、前記エンジンの単位時間当たりの燃料油消費量と同等の流量を前記第1流量計が指示するように構成され、前記エンジンで消費された燃料油の流量分だけ混合燃料油が前記循環部に送られるようにしたことを特徴とする、船舶用燃料油の転換システム。 - 前記供給部は、
前記複数のタンクから燃料油が排出される複数の排出ライン;と
前記複数の排出ライン上にそれぞれ設置される複数の調節バルブ;とをさらに備え、
前記制御部は、前記複数の調節バルブの開度をそれぞれ調節して燃料油の混合割合を調節することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。 - 前記供給部は、前記複数の排出ライン上にそれぞれ設置される複数の逆流防止バルブをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。
- 前記循環部は、燃料油の圧力を上昇させて燃料油を循環させる循環ポンプをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。
- 前記循環ポンプは、前記循環部を循環する燃料油の圧力を8~10barに維持することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。
- 前記循環部は、前記エンジンの最大燃料消費量の約3倍に相当する流量が循環することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。
- 前記制御部は割合計算装置を備え、
前記循環部は、
前記エンジンに供給される燃料油の温度を測定する第1温度センサー;と
前記エンジンに供給される燃料油の粘度を測定する粘度センサー;とをさらに備え、
前記第1温度センサーが測定した燃料油の温度値と前記粘度センサーが測定した燃料油の粘度値とは、前記割合計算装置に送信され、
前記割合計算装置は、前記循環部を循環する燃料油に含まれる互いに異なる燃料油の混合割合を計算することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。 - 前記割合計算装置は、
前記循環部を循環する燃料油に含まれる各成分の粘度をcStで表した値がvである場合、「VBI=14.534×ln(ln(v+0.8))+10.975」の式で粘度ブレンド指数(VBI)を求め、
混合された燃料油におけるA成分の重量比をw_Aとし、各成分の重量比(w)を同一温度で決定された値を使用した場合、「VBI_blend=(w_A×VBI_A)+(w_B×VBI_B)」式、混合された燃料油の粘度をv_blendとした場合、「v_blend=exp{exp(VBI_blend-10.975)÷14.534}-0.8」式に基づいて、w_Aとw_Bとを求めることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。 - 前記制御部は統合自動化システムをさらに備え、
前記統合自動化システムには、
前記割合計算装置で計算した燃料油の混合割合の値;と
前記第1温度センサーから前記割合計算装置に送信された燃料油の温度値;と
前記粘度センサーから前記割合計算装置に送信された燃料油の粘度値;とが前記割合計算装置から送信されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。 - 前記統合自動化システムは、
前記割合計算装置から送信された燃料油の粘度値が、前記エンジンで要求される粘度を満たすように、燃料油の温度と燃料油の混合割合とを調節し、
調節した燃料油の温度に関するフィードバックは、前記割合計算装置から送信された前記第1温度センサーが測定した温度値から受け、
調節した燃料油の混合割合に関するフィードバックは、前記割合計算装置から送信された前記粘度センサーが測定した粘度値から受けることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。 - 前記循環部は加熱器をさらに備え、
前記加熱器は、前記循環部を循環する燃料油の粘度が前記エンジンで要求される粘度より高い場合に、燃料油を加熱することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。 - 前記循環部は冷却器をさらに備え、
前記冷却器は、前記循環部を循環する燃料油の粘度が前記エンジンで必要される粘度より低い場合に、燃料油を冷却することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。 - 前記循環部は前記エンジンの下流に設置され、前記エンジンで使用されずに残った燃料油を一時貯蔵する燃料油管をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶用燃料油の転換システム。
