窒素ガスが還流し温度調節が容易となるように冷却装置を設けた1L反応器に、エチルヘキシルアクリレート(Ethylhexyl acrylate、EHA)およびアクリル酸(Acrylic acid、AA)から構成される単量体混合物を投入後、溶媒としてエチルアセテート(Ethyl Acetate、EAc)を投入した。その後、酸素を除去するために窒素ガスを約1時間パージング(purging)した後、反応器の温度を62℃に維持した。混合物を均一にした後、反応開始剤としてアゾビスイソブチロニトリル(AIBN)400ppmおよび連鎖移動剤としてn-ドデシルメルカプタン(n-dodecylmercaptan、n-DDM)400ppmを投入し、混合物を反応させた。反応後にEAcを希釈して重量平均分子量が200万の共重合体を製造した。

前記のように製造された第1共重合体100gにエポキシ系架橋剤を添加して、エチルアセテート溶液に18重量%に希釈して投入した後、均一に混合した。前記組成を設計して重合された粘着剤組成物をコーティングに適当な粘度(500~1500cp)を有するように固形分を調節するための溶剤で希釈後、mechanical stirrerを用いて15分以上混合(mixing)した。常温で放置して混合中に発生した気泡を除去して、applicaterを用いて塗膜を形成した後、mathis ovenを用いて140℃、3分乾燥して粘着層-1を製造した。
前記のように製造された第2共重合体100gにエポキシ系架橋剤を添加して、エチルアセテート溶液に18重量%に希釈して投入した後、均一に混合した。前記組成を設計して重合された粘着剤組成物をコーティングに適当な粘度(500~1500cp)を有するように固形分を調節するための溶剤で希釈後、mechanical stirrerを用いて15分以上混合(mixing)した。常温で放置して混合中に発生した気泡を除去して、applicaterを用いて塗膜を形成した後、mathis ovenを用いて140℃、3分乾燥して粘着層-2を製造した。
下記表1に記載の物性を有するバックプレートの一面に前記製造された粘着層-1をコーティングし、前記粘着層-1の前記バックプレート基材と接する面の反対面に、下記表1の軽剥離離型フィルムをラミネーション(lamination)した。
前記実施例1~3および比較例1で製造したフォルダブルバックプレートの製造方法において、粘着層-1の代わりに粘着層-2を用いたことを除き、前記実施例1~3および比較例1で製造したフォルダブルバックプレートの製造と同様の方法で製造して、3layer(粘着層/バックプレート/粘着層)構造のフォルダブルバックプレートを製造した。

Claims (15)
- ポリイミド(PI、Polyimide)基材と、
前記ポリイミド基材の一面に備えられた第1粘着層と、
前記ポリイミド基材の前記第1粘着層が接する面の反対面に備えられた第2粘着層とを含むフォルダブルバックプレートであって、
前記ポリイミド基材の20℃での貯蔵弾性率(G1)が下記式1を満足し、
前記第1粘着層の前記ポリイミド基材と接する面の反対面をポリイミド(PI、Polyimide)に対して接合後の23℃で2時間放置後の粘着力が500gf/inch以上であり、
前記第2粘着層の前記ポリイミド基材と接する面の反対面をポリイミド(PI、Polyimide)に対して接合後の23℃で2時間放置後の粘着力が500gf/inch以上であるフォルダブルバックプレート:

1GPa≦G1≦5GPa - 前記第1粘着層および前記第2粘着層の-30℃での貯蔵弾性率はG2であり、
前記第1粘着層および前記第2粘着層の60℃での貯蔵弾性率はG3であり、
前記G2およびG3は下記式2および式3を満足するものである、請求項1に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート:

1×104Pa≦G3≦1×106Pa - 前記第1粘着層および前記第2粘着層の前記ポリイミド基材と接するそれぞれの面の23℃で2時間放置後の初期粘着力(gf/inch)はA1であり、60℃/湿度90%での20日放置後の後期粘着力(gf/inch)はA2であり、
前記A1およびA2は下記式4を満足するものである、請求項1または2に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート:

A1×0.8≦A2 - 前記ポリイミド基材の20℃での破断伸び率(elongation at break)が20%以上200%以下である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。
- 前記ポリイミド基材の200℃での熱収縮率が0.1%以下である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。
- 前記ポリイミド基材の厚さは10μm以上150μm以下である、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。
- 前記第1粘着層および第2粘着層のそれぞれの厚さは10μm以上100μm以下である、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。
- 前記第1粘着層の前記ポリイミド基材と接する面の反対面に備えられた第1離型フィルムと、
前記第2粘着層の前記ポリイミド基材と接する面の反対面に備えられた第2離型フィルムとをさらに含むフォルダブルバックプレートであって、
前記第2離型フィルムの前記第2粘着層からの剥離力は23℃で20gf/inch以下であり、
前記第1離型フィルムの前記第1粘着層からの剥離力が、前記第2離型フィルムの前記第2粘着層からの剥離力より低いものである、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。 - 前記第1離型フィルムの前記第1粘着層からの剥離力は23℃で15gf/inch以下である、請求項8に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。
- 前記第1離型フィルムおよび第2離型フィルムのそれぞれの厚さは10μm以上150μm以下である、請求項8または9に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。
- 前記第1離型フィルムおよび第2離型フィルムは、シリコーン系である、請求項8から10のいずれか一項に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。
- 前記第1離型フィルムおよび前記第2離型フィルムの表面抵抗は500V以下の条件で1010Ω/sq以下である、請求項8から11のいずれか一項に記載のフォルダブルバックプレート。
- ポリイミド(PI、Polyimide)基材の一面に第1粘着層をコーティングするステップと、
前記第1粘着層の前記ポリイミド基材と接する面の反対面に、第1離型フィルムをラミネーション(lamination)するステップと、
第2離型フィルムの一面に第2粘着層をコーティングするステップと、
前記第2粘着層の前記第2離型フィルムが接する面の反対面を、前記ポリイミド基材の前記第1粘着層が形成された面の反対面にラミネーション(lamination)するステップとを含むフォルダブルバックプレートの製造方法であって、
前記ポリイミド基材の20℃での貯蔵弾性率(G1)が下記式1を満足し、
前記第2離型フィルムの前記第2粘着層からの剥離力は23℃で20gf/inch以下であり、
前記第1離型フィルムの前記第1粘着層からの剥離力が、前記第2離型フィルムの前記第2粘着層からの剥離力より低いものであるフォルダブルバックプレートの製造方法:

1GPa≦G1≦5GPa - 前記第1粘着層および前記第2粘着層をコーティングするステップは、直接コーティングである、請求項13に記載のフォルダブルバックプレートの製造方法。
