前記押圧された軸方向対象面(216)は増加した摩擦係数を示す、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の表面処理ツール(200)。 - 前記研磨機(220)が、前記第2の軸(A2)周りで円周方向に配置されたドラム研磨機(320)を含み、
前記ドラム研磨機(320)が、前記研磨面(222)と異なる角度に配置され、前記研磨面(222)と共に回転し、前記軸方向対象面(216)に接触する艶出し面(322)を含む、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の表面処理ツール(200)。 - 前記チャック組立体(202)に結合され、前記部品(210)の一部分を取り除くトリミングツール(226)をさらに備え、前記トリミングツール(226)が前記研磨機(220)から独立しており、
前記トリミングツール(226)は、前記第2の軸(A2)および第3の回転軸(A3)の一方周りで円周方向に配置されたトリミング要素(228)を含み、前記第3の回転軸(A3)は少なくとも前記第2の軸(A2)と異なっている、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の表面処理ツール(200)。 - 前記チャック組立体(202)の前記ツールアーム(206)は、前記研磨機(220)を前記部品(210)の前記軸方向対象面(216)に接触する位置と接触しない位置との間で移動させるためのトラック(230)をさらに含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の表面処理ツール(200)。
- 部品(210)を処理するための方法であって、
チャック(204)が部品(210)の対象面を第1の回転軸(A1)周りで回転させるステップと、
ツールアーム(206)により支持される研磨機(220)の研磨面(222)を前記第1の回転軸(A1)と実質的に非平行である第2の軸(A2)周りで回転させるステップと、
前記対象面(216)の回転中および前記研磨面(222)の回転中に、前記部品(210)の前記対象面(216)を圧縮変形させ、より大きい比表面積および低減された表面粗さを有する押圧された対象面(216)を生じさせるように前記研磨機(220)の前記研磨面(222)を前記部品(210)の前記対象面(216)にヘルツ接触させるステップであって、前記押圧された対象面と隣接する部品(210)との間の摩擦係数が、前記対象面と前記隣接する部品(210)との間の初期摩擦係数よりも大きい、ステップとを含む
方法。 - 前記部品(210)がホイールフランジ(214)を含み、前記対象面(216)が前記ホイールフランジ(214)に配置される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の回転軸(A1)は、前記ホイールフランジ(214)の回転軸と実質的に平行であり、前記第2の軸は(A2)前記第1の回転軸(A1)に実質的に垂直である、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記接触させるステップに続いて、前記対象面(216)をさらに変更することなく、ターボ機械(100)組立体内に前記部品(210)を配置するステップと、
前記部品(210)の前記ホイールフランジ(214)を、前記ターボ機械(100)組立体内で前記部品(210)に対して軸方向に隣接する前記隣接する部品(210)の別のフランジと接触させるステップと、
前記ターボ機械(100)組立体の運転中に、前記部品(210)と前記隣接する部品(210)とが同じ回転速度で回転するように、前記部品(210)と前記隣接する部品(210)との間でトルク伝達を行うステップと、
を含み、
前記対象面(216)と前記隣接する部品(210)との間の金属凝集が、前記部品(210)と前記隣接する部品との材料組成の類似性によって引き起こされる、請求項9または10に記載の方法。 - 前記部品(210)を受けるように構成されたチャック(204)を有するチャック組立体に前記部品(210)を配置するステップを含み、
前記部品(210)の前記対象面を前記第1の回転軸(A1)周りで回転させる前記ステップは、前記チャック(204)が前記第1の回転軸(A1)周りで前記部品(210)を回転させるステップを含む、請求項8乃至11のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記部品(210)と前記研磨面(222)との間でヘルツ接触している間、前記研磨機(220)は、前記部品(210)の前記軸方向対象面(216)の上で一方向に空回りせず、相対的に静止するか、または径方向に振動し、
前記研磨面(222)の比表面積が前記対象面(216)の初期比表面積よりも大きい、請求項8乃至12のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記対象面(216)を前記回転させるステップ中に、かつ前記対象面(216)を前記研磨機(220)に前記接触させるステップの前に、前記部品(210)を、前記部品(210)の一部分を取り除くトリミングツール(226)と接触させるステップをさらに含む、請求項8乃至13のいずれかに記載の方法。
