Claims (10)
- バッテリーセルと、
上端に配設されたPCB収容部及びバッテリーセルのタブと電気的に連結されるケースリード部を備えてなるバッテリーセルケースと、
前記バッテリーセルの作動を制御するための保護回路を備えて、前記バッテリーセルケースの上端のPCB収容部に搭載されてバッテリーセルケースと結合されるプリント回路基板(PCB)と、
前記プリント回路基板と嵌合するように両端の側面に一対のフック(Hook)突起が配備されて、前記PCB収容部に搭載されるプリント回路基板の全面を覆う形状に前記PCB収容部に対向してプリント回路基板に結合される電気絶縁性の上端キャップと、
を備え、
前記上端キャップは、上端キャップの内周面から突設され、上端キャップが前記プリント回路基板に結合される場合、プリント回路基板に形成された電子部品の間に隔壁を形成する多数のリブを備えており、
前記リブは、前記バッテリーセルケースの高さと、前記PCB収容部に搭載されるプリント回路基板(PCB)の高さとの差分に対応する高さを有することを特徴とするバッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーセルケースは、前記PCB収容部と重なり合わない領域にバッテリーセルが収容されるバッテリーセル収容領域を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記上端キャップのフック(Hook)突起の位置は、リブ(rib)の高さと、前記PCB収容部に搭載されるプリント回路基板(PCB)の厚さとの和に対応する位置に前記フック突起が位置するように決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記上端キャップは、前面部材と、側面部材及び上面部材を備えてなり、
前面部材には、外部入出力端子が外部に延びる貫通溝が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記上端キャップの前面部材には、バッテリーセルケースの正(+)極/負(-)極のリードから発せられる熱を放出するための放熱孔を形成し、
前記放熱孔は、正(+)極/負(-)極のリードが外部に突出して離脱することを防ぐように前面部材を所定の高さに見合う分だけ取り残して形成されたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記上端キャップは、前記バッテリーセルとの結合力を増やすための結合補強部材としての背面部材を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックを製造する方法において、
封止されたパウチ型のバッテリーセルを生成するバッテリーセル生成ステップと、
前記バッテリーセル生成ステップにおいて生成されたバッテリーセルに保護回路付きプリント回路基板を連結するプリント回路基板連結ステップと、
前記プリント回路基板連結ステップにおいて前記バッテリーセルと連結されたプリント回路基板に上端キャップを嵌合する上端キャップ結合ステップと、
を含んでなることを特徴とするバッテリーパックの製造方法。 - 前記プリント回路基板連結ステップの前に、前記プリント回路基板に外部入出力端子を連結する入出力端子連結ステップを更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバッテリーパックの製造方法。
- 前記プリント回路基板連結ステップの前に、バッテリーセル収容部、ケースリード部とPCB収容部を有するバッテリーセルケースのバッテリーセル収容部に前記バッテリーセル生成ステップにおいて生成されたバッテリーセルを搭載し、搭載されたバッテリーセルのタブとバッテリーセルケースのケースリード部とを電気的に結合するバッテリーセル結合ステップを更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバッテリーパックの製造方法。
- 前記プリント回路基板連結ステップの前に、バッテリーケースのケースリード部をPCB収容部の内側に曲げ込み、その上にプリント回路基板を結合することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバッテリーパックの製造方法。
