Claims (8)
- バッテリーパックにおいて、
バッテリーセルと、
内部に前記バッテリーセルを搭載し、上端に保護素子アセンブリー収容部を有するバッテリーセルケースと、
前記バッテリーセルケースの正極リード部又は負極リード部と連結されて保護素子アセンブリー収容部に搭載される保護素子アセンブリーと、
を備えてなり、
前記保護素子アセンブリーは、
両側に接合のための金属薄板が形成された高温遮断素子と、
前記バッテリーセルケースの正極リード部又は負極リード部と接合される第1の接合部、前記高温遮断素子の一方の側と接合される第2の接合部及び高温遮断素子の他方の側と接合される第3の接合部を有する板状の伝導性連結部材と、
前記伝導性連結部材の第1の接合部、第2の接合部及び第3の接合部の上端の表面に形成される放熱部材と、
を備えてなり、
前記伝導性連結部材は、前記バッテリーセルケースの負極リード部又は正極リード部との段差を減らすために曲設された段付き部を備えてなることを特徴とするバッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーセルケースは、前記保護素子アセンブリー収容部と重なり合わない領域にバッテリーセルが収容されるバッテリーセル収容領域を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記放熱部材は、ペースト状に塗布されるか、あるいは、テープ状に貼着されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- バッテリーパックを製造する方法において、
バッテリーセルケースの内側にバッテリーセルを搭載して、バッテリーセルアセンブリーを生成するバッテリーセルアセンブリー生成ステップと、
高温遮断素子を備える保護素子アセンブリーを前記バッテリーセルケースの正極リード部又は負極リード部に電気的に連結するリード部連結ステップと、
前記リード部連結ステップにおける正極リード部又は負極リード部と保護素子アセンブリーとが連結された個所に放熱部材を取り付ける放熱部材取付けステップと、
を含んでなり、
前記放熱部材取付けステップ後に、バッテリーセルケースの負極リード部又は正極リード部と前記保護素子アセンブリーの連結部材との間の高さ差が減るように連結部材を折り曲げる連結部材折曲げステップを更に含んでなることを特徴とするバッテリーパックの製造方法。 - 前記バッテリーセルアセンブリー生成ステップは、
バッテリーセルケースのバッテリーセル収容部に搭載されたバッテリーセルのタブと、バッテリーセルケースのケースリード部とを電気的に結合するバッテリーセル結合ステップを更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーパックの製造方法。 - 前記リード部連結ステップ前に、前記高温遮断素子を前記保護素子アセンブリーに接合する高温遮断素子接合ステップを含んでなることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーパックの製造方法。
- 前記放熱部材取付けステップ前に、バッテリーセルケースの保護素子アセンブリー収容部に前記保護素子アセンブリーを搭載する保護素子アセンブリー搭載ステップを更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーパックの製造方法。
- 前記放熱部材取付けステップにおいては、
前記保護素子アセンブリーと高温遮断素子とが接合された個所に放熱部材を更に取り付けることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーパックの製造方法。
