Description
(1)前記圧入孔は、前記ハウジングにおいて前記回路基板から遠い側に近い側へと上下複数段に設けられ、前記退避部は、前記上下複数段の圧入孔のうち、前記回路基板に最も近い最下段の圧入孔と対応する部分にのみ設けられている。これによれば、最下段を除く圧入孔と対応する部分において、ハウジングと端子金具との接触代を確実に確保することができる。
以下、実施例1を図1~図10に基づいて説明する。実施例1の基板用コネクタ10は、図6に示すように、複数の端子金具20と、各端子金具20が装着されるハウジング60とを備えている。ハウジング60は、図示しないケースに固定され、且つ、図示しない相手ハウジングに嵌合される。各端子金具20は、ケース内で後述する基板接続部27を介して回路基板90に接続される。なお、以下の説明において、前後方向については、ハウジング60が嵌合開始時に図示しない相手ハウジングと向き合う側を前側とし、上下方向については、図8及び図9を除く各図を基準とする。
組み付けに際し、直線状の端子母材23(曲げ加工前の端子金具20)が背壁61の圧入孔65に後方から圧入される(図7を参照)。圧入開始時は、端子母材23の相手接続部26の先端が誘い込み部67に誘導されて圧入孔65へと挿入案内される。圧入完了時は、端子母材23が係止片32の係止作用によって圧入孔65に抜け止め保持される。また、端子母材23の張出片33が圧入孔65から誘い込み部67にまたがって収容される。具体的には、最下段の各圧入孔65を除く各圧入孔65に圧入された端子母材23は、張出片33の全体が圧入孔65及び誘い込み部67の双方の内側に収容され、最下段の各圧入孔65に圧入された端子母材23は、張出片33の下面後部が段差部75の下方空間に露出するものの、破断面34を含む残余の部分が圧入孔65及び誘い込み部67の双方の内側に配置される(図6を参照)。
図11は、本発明の実施例2を示す。実施例2は、最下段の各圧入孔65に対応する誘い込み部67Aの形状が実施例1とは異なる。その他は、実施例1と同様であり、実施例2において、実施例1と同様の構造には同一符号を付し、重複する説明を省略する。
以下、他の実施例を簡単に説明する。
(1)退避部は、一部が圧入孔を切り欠くようにして形成されるものであってもよい。この場合、背壁の背面において、圧入孔の開口を挟んで退避部側とは反対側の部分が相手接続部との間の接触代を十分にとることができるため、端子金具の保持力を確保することができる。
(2)背壁の背面にペンチのような狭持治具が当てがわれ、最下段の圧入孔に圧入された端子金具の曲げ加工が施されるものであってもよい。
(3)相手接続部の張出片は、圧入孔の内側にのみ配置されるものであってもよい。あるいは、相手接続部の張出片は、誘い込み部の内側にのみ配置されるものであってもよい。
(4)基板接続部は、回路基板に対しプレスフィットではなく半田付けして接続されるものであってもよい。

Claims (3)
- 相手端子金具に接続される相手接続部と、回路基板に接続される基板接続部と、前記基板接続部と前記相手接続部との間に配置される曲げ部とを有し、前記相手接続部及び前記基板接続部が前記曲げ部を介してほぼ直角に連成される端子金具と、
前記相手接続部が圧入される圧入孔と、前記基板接続部に対向する背面とを有するハウジングとを備え、
前記ハウジングの前記背面は、前記圧入孔の開口を挟んで前記回路基板に近い側と遠い側のうち、前記近い側に、前記遠い側よりも、前記基板接続部から離間する方向に退避した退避部を有し、
前記ハウジングの前記背面は、前記圧入孔の開口の周辺部に、前記相手接続部を誘い込むことが可能な傾斜状の誘い込み部を有し、前記退避部は、前記誘い込み部の傾斜部分を切り欠いた形状をなし、
前記誘い込み部のうち、前記圧入孔を挟んで前記回路基板に近い側で、且つ前記退避部が設けられる側の部分は、前記圧入孔を挟んで前記回路基板に遠い側の部分よりも、前記相手接続部の圧入方向に対する傾斜角度が大きい急斜面部を有している基板用コネクタ。 - 前記圧入孔は、前記ハウジングにおいて前記回路基板に遠い側から近い側へと上下複数段に設けられ、前記退避部は、前記上下複数段の圧入孔のうち、前記回路基板に最も近い最下段の圧入孔と対応する部分にのみ設けられている請求項1に記載の基板用コネクタ。
- 前記相手接続部は、前記圧入孔の内面に係止可能に張り出す張出片を有し、前記張出片の先端が破断面とされており、前記張出片が、前記圧入孔と前記誘い込み部の少なくとも一方の内側に位置するように構成される請求項1に記載の基板用コネクタ。
