Description
交流電力を直流電力に変換する電力変換装置であって、
サイリスタを含む整流部と、
前記整流部の後段に設けられるコンデンサと、
前記サイリスタの点弧を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記交流電力の電圧がゼロであるゼロクロス点に到達したときから、前記交流電力の所定周波数に応じて定められた所定時間後に、前記サイリスタの点弧を行うことで、前記コンデンサに電力を供給させるとともに、前記サイリスタの点弧を行う度に前記所定時間を短く設定し、
前記交流電力の周波数が、前記所定周波数から変動した場合、前記所定周波数に応じて定められた所定時間後に前記サイリスタの点弧を行わないように制御する。
電力変換装置100の力率改善部130を正常に動作させるため、コンデンサ134の電圧値を所望の電圧値にプリチャージする必要がある。しかしながら、コンデンサ134が十分にチャージされていない場合、コンデンサ134の電圧値と、交流電力の電圧値との差分が過剰となる。その結果、当該差分に起因して、突入電流が過剰になり、周辺回路に影響を及ぼす可能性がある。

Claims (8)
- 交流電力を直流電力に変換する電力変換装置であって、
サイリスタを含む整流部と、
前記整流部の後段に設けられるコンデンサと、
前記サイリスタの点弧を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記交流電力の電圧がゼロであるゼロクロス点に到達したときから、前記交流電力の所定周波数に応じて定められた所定時間後に、前記サイリスタの点弧を行うことで、前記コンデンサに電力を供給させるとともに、前記サイリスタの点弧を行う度に前記所定時間を短く設定し、
前記交流電力の周波数が、前記所定周波数から変動した場合、前記所定周波数に応じて定められた所定時間後に前記サイリスタの点弧を行わないように制御する、
電力変換装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記ゼロクロス点に到達したときから、前記所定時間経過するまでの間に、前記交流電力の電圧波形を検出することで、前記交流電力の周波数が、前記所定周波数から変動したか否かについて判定する、
請求項1に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記所定周波数に応じて、前記交流電力の1周期内における、所定タイミング毎の複数の電圧値の電圧範囲をそれぞれ設定し、
前記交流電力の電圧値が、当該電圧値に対応するタイミングで設定された前記電圧範囲から外れた場合、前記交流電力の周波数が、前記所定周波数から変動したと判定する、
請求項2に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記交流電力の周波数が、前記所定周波数から変動した場合、所定周期の間、前記サイリスタの点弧を行わない、
請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記交流電力の電圧値を検出する電圧検出部を備え、
前記制御部は、前記交流電力の電圧値に基づいて前記所定周波数を特定する、
請求項1~4の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記電力変換装置は、車載された電池を充電するための車載充電器であり、
前記コンデンサを有する力率改善部と、
前記力率改善部の後段に設けられるDC/DC変換部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、前記コンデンサの電圧が所定電圧に到達した場合、前記力率改善部および前記DC/DC変換部を動作させて前記電池を充電する、
請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記整流部は、前記サイリスタと、ダイオードとで構成される整流回路である、
請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載の電力変換装置。 - 前記整流部は、前記サイリスタと、スイッチング素子とで構成される整流回路である、
