Description
図1に示すように、本実施形態の制御装置1は、エンジン3を駆動源とした車両に適用される。車両の駆動系には、エンジン3及び自動変速機4が設けられ、自動変速機4の出力軸4Bは駆動輪5に接続される。また、この車両には、エンジン3の実回転数Neに基づく値を表示するタコメータ2が設けられる。
自動変速機4は、トルクコンバータ10と、前後進切替機構20と、ベルト式無段変速機構30(以下「CVT30」という)と、ギヤ対40とがハウジング内に収納されて構成され、後述する制御装置1の変速制御部1Cによってその作動が制御される。
演出制御とは、所定の開始条件が成立した場合に、実回転数Neに代えて演出回転数Naをタコメータ2に表示させる制御である。演出回転数Naとは、CVT30の入力回転数の目標値(以下「目標回転数Nt」という)に基づいて算出される仮想的な回転数である。演出制御は、トルクコンバータ10がロックアップ状態であり、かつ、車両が発進時以外の加速状態であるときに実施され、加速状態でなくなったときに終了される。
本実施形態の制御装置1には、上述した演出制御を実施するための要素として、判定部1A,表示制御部1Bおよび変速制御部1Cが設けられる。これらの要素は、制御装置1で実行されるプログラムの一部の機能を示すものであり、ソフトウェアで実現されるものとする。ただし、各機能の一部又は全部をハードウェア(電子回路)で実現してもよく、あるいはソフトウェアとハードウェアとを併用して実現してもよい。
==開始条件==
条件1:トルクコンバータ10がロックアップ状態である
条件2:車両が加速状態である
図5は、上述した演出制御の内容を説明するためのフローチャート例である。このフローチャートは、車両の主電源がオンの場合に制御装置1において所定の演算周期で実施される。なお、ここでは疑似有段アップシフト制御を実施する走行モードが選択されているものとし、変化率αは固定値とする。また、車両に設けられた各種センサ(例えば回転数センサ6やアクセル開度センサ7)からの情報や、設定された目標回転数Ntの値は、制御装置1に随時伝達されているものとする。
(1)上述した制御装置1によれば、上記の開始条件が成立した場合に、実回転数Neに代えて、目標回転数Ntに基づいて算出される演出回転数Naがタコメータ2に表示されるため、実回転数Neの挙動にかかわらず、安定したタコメータ2の表示を行うことができる。さらに、目標回転数Ntの急変時には、実回転数Neの変化率の絶対値よりも演出回転数Naの変化率の絶対値を大きくすることで、タコメータ2の表示をキビキビとした動作にすることができる。これにより、運転者に加速意図がある場合に、視覚的な加速フィーリングを向上させることができる。
(4)さらに、このときの演出回転数Naの変化率αを、アクセル開度に応じて算出する構成とすれば、タコメータ2の表示を実際の車両挙動により近付けることができる。
上述した実施形態に関わらず、それらの趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々変形して実施することができる。上述した実施形態の各構成は、必要に応じて取捨選択することができ、あるいは適宜組み合わせてもよい。
上述した実施形態では、目標回転数Ntの急変時としてキックダウンと疑似有段アップシフト制御の実施中における変速時とが含まれる場合を例示したが、いずれか一方のみが含まれていてもよい。例えば、前者のみが含まれる場合には、制御装置1が疑似有段アップシフト制御を実施しないものであってもよい。
なお、タコメータ2の構成は特に限定されない。例えば、液晶画面に目盛りと指針とを表示する構成であってもよいし目盛りおよび指針の代わりに数値を表示してもよい。

Claims (3)
- エンジンと、トルクコンバータおよび無段変速機を含む自動変速機と、前記エンジンの実回転数に基づく値を表示するタコメータと、を具備した車両の制御装置であって、
前記トルクコンバータがロックアップ状態であること、および、アクセルペダルが踏み込まれて前記車両が加速状態であることを含む開始条件の成否を判定する判定部と、
前記判定部により前記開始条件が成立したと判定された場合に、前記実回転数に代えて演出回転数を前記タコメータに表示させる表示制御部と、
前記自動変速機の作動を制御する変速制御部と、を備え、
前記表示制御部は、前記アクセルペダルの踏み込みに伴って前記無段変速機の入力回転数の目標値が急変する時には、当該急変直前の前記目標値を前記演出回転数の初期値にし、前記演出回転数と前記目標値とがほぼ一致するまでは、前記実回転数の変化率の絶対値よりも大きな絶対値を持つ変化率と所定の時間間隔とを用いて前記演出回転数を算出し、算出した前記演出回転数を前記タコメータに表示させるとともに、
前記目標値の急変時には、前記アクセルペダルを急激に踏み込むことによるキックダウンが含まれ、
前記表示制御部は、前記キックダウン中に前記演出回転数を正の変化率で変化させるとともに、前記キックダウンが生じたときのアクセル開度に応じて前記キックダウン時の前記正の変化率を算出する
ことを特徴とする、車両の制御装置。 - 前記表示制御部は、前記演出回転数を前記変化率で変化させた場合に、前記演出回転数と前記目標値とがほぼ一致した以降では前記目標値を前記演出回転数として算出する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の車両の制御装置。 - 前記変速制御部は、有段変速を疑似して前記自動変速機の変速比を段階的に変化させつつ車速を高める疑似有段アップシフト制御を実施し、
前記目標値の急変時には、前記変速制御部による前記疑似有段アップシフト制御の実施中における変速時が含まれ、
前記表示制御部は、前記変速時に前記演出回転数を負の変化率で変化させる
ことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の車両の制御装置。
