Description
Claims (9)
- ホットメルト接着剤を物品上に供給するスロットダイ組立体であって、
ホットメルト接着剤を受け取るように構成された複数のアダプター導管を有するアダプター本体と、
前記複数のアダプター導管と流体連通するように配置されるとともに、前記複数のアダプター導管から前記ホットメルト接着剤を受け取るように構成された複数のシム導管を有する複数のシムプレートを備える、シムパッケージであって、該シムパッケージは、前記複数のシム導管と流体連通するように配置された複数の接続導管と、該複数の接続導管と流体連通するように配置されたリザーバーと、該リザーバーと流体連通するように配置されたスロットとを更に備え、該スロットは、該スロットダイ組立体から前記ホットメルト接着剤を吐出するように構成される、シムパッケージと、
前記シムパッケージに対して当接関係で配置されたダイプレートと、
を備え、
前記複数のシム導管のそれぞれは、実質的に前記アダプター本体から前記ダイプレートに向かう第1の方向に前記ホットメルト接着剤を向ける複数のホットメルト接着剤流路の一部分を画定し、前記リザーバーは、実質的に前記第1の方向に対して反対方向に前記ホットメルト接着剤を向ける複数のホットメルト接着剤流路の他の部分を画定する、スロットダイ組立体。 - 前記複数のホットメルト接着剤流路は、前記複数のアダプター導管、前記複数のシム導管、前記複数の接続導管、前記リザーバー、及び前記スロットによって画定され、前記複数のホットメルト接着剤流路は、前記ダイプレート内には形成されない、請求項1に記載のスロットダイ組立体。
- 前記シムパッケージの前記シムプレートは、レーザー切断加工、ダイカット、ウォータージェット切断、ブレード切断、フライス加工、及びドリル穿孔のうちの1つ以上によって形成される、請求項1に記載のスロットダイ組立体。
- 前記シムプレートはステンレス鋼から作製される、請求項1に記載のスロットダイ組立体。
- 前記アダプター本体及び前記ダイプレートのうちの少なくとも一方は、硬化金属から作製される、請求項1に記載のスロットダイ組立体。
- 前記アダプター本体及び前記ダイプレートのうちの少なくとも一方は、工具鋼から作製される、請求項1に記載のスロットダイ組立体。
- 前記複数の接続導管は、実質的に高さ方向に前記ホットメルト接着剤を向けるように構成される、請求項1に記載のスロットダイ組立体。
- 前記複数の接続導管は、実質的に横断方向に前記ホットメルト接着剤を向けるように構成される、請求項7に記載のスロットダイ組立体。
- 前記リザーバーは、実質的に横断方向に前記ホットメルト接着剤を向けるように構成される、請求項1に記載のスロットダイ組立体。
