Description
本発明の実施形態は、コバルト、シリコン、及びマンガンを有する磁性鉄合金を含む。例えば、前記磁性鉄合金は、約2重量%〜約10%重量%のコバルト(Co)、約0.05重量%〜約5重量%のマンガン(Mn)、及び約0.05重量%〜約5重量%のシリコン(Si)を有する磁性鉄合金を含む。Coは前記合金の飽和磁気誘導を向上させるが、特定の機械的特性を低下させ、比較的高価である。MnとSiは比較的安価な元素であり、合金の製造工程からの廃棄物を多くの等級において再利用可能な材料として利用してコストを削減することが出来る。本発明の実施形態による合金は、HIPERCO(登録商標)50及びHIPERCO(登録商標)27などの既知の合金よりも少ないCoを含みながら、なお適当な磁気的、電気的、及び機械的特性を維持している。
本発明の実施形態は、コバルト、マンガン、及びシリコンを上述のように含有する前記磁性鉄合金を製造する方法を、さらに含むものである。
Claims (16)
- 磁性等方性鉄合金であって、
鉄(Fe)と、
2重量%〜5重量%のコバルト(Co)と、
0.05重量%〜5重量%のマンガン(Mn)と、
1.3重量%〜5重量%のシリコン(Si)と、
0.09重量%〜3重量%のクロミウムと、
2重量%までのバナジウムと
からなる、磁性等方性鉄合金。 - 請求項1記載の磁性等方性鉄合金であって、さらに、
1重量%までのニッケルと、
0.05重量%までのニオビウムと、
0.02重量%までの炭素と
のうちの1つ又は複数を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。 - 請求項1記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は少なくとも40μΩcmの電気抵抗(ρ)を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項1記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は少なくとも20kGの飽和磁気誘導(Bs)を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項1記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は2Oe未満の保磁力(Hc)を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項1記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は少なくとも40μΩcmのρと、少なくとも20kGのBsと、2Oe未満のHcとを有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項1記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金はアルファ(α)単相を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項7記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は少なくとも95%のアルファ相を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項7記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は少なくとも99%のアルファ相を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項1記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は5重量%のCoと、2.2重量%のMnと、1.3重量%のSiと、0.29重量%のクロミウムとを有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項1記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は5重量%のCoと、1.0重量%のMnと、2.3重量%のSiと、0.29重量%のクロミウムとを有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 磁性等方性鉄合金であって、
鉄と、
2重量%〜5重量%のコバルトと、
0.05重量%〜5重量%のマンガンと、
1.3重量%〜5重量%のシリコンと、
0.09重量%〜3重量%のクロミウムと、
2重量%までのバナジウムと
からなり、前記合金は少なくとも40μΩcmのρと、少なくとも20kGのBsと、2Oe未満のHcとを有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。 - 請求項12記載の磁性等方性鉄合金であって、さらに、
1重量%までのニッケルと、
0.05重量%までのニオビウムと、
0.02重量%までの炭素と
のうちの1つ又は複数を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。 - 請求項12記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は少なくとも95%のアルファ相を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項12記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は少なくとも99%のアルファ相を有する、磁性等方性鉄合金。
- 請求項12記載の磁性等方性鉄合金において、前記合金は、
5重量%のCo、2.2重量%のMn、1.3重量%のSi、及び0.29重量%のクロミウムを含む合金と、
5重量%のCo、1.0重量%のMn、2.3重量%のSi、及び0.29重量%のクロミウムを含む合金と
から成る群から選択される、磁性等方性鉄合金。
