Description
本実施形態の円錐ころ軸受3によれば、連結環13の内周面に、複数の非連続な爪14,15が形成されているので、連結環の全周にわたって爪が形成されている場合と比較して、大きな圧入力を伴うことなく容易に第1外輪部材91及び第2外輪部材92に連結環13をはめ込むことができる。つまり、容易に第1外輪部材91及び第2外輪部材92を固定することができる。
次に、実施形態2のハブユニットについて説明する。本実施形態のハブユニットは、連結環13Aの構造が異なる点を除いて、実施形態1のハブユニット100と同一の構成を有する。以下、連結環13Aの構造及び第1外輪部材91及び第2外輪部材92の連結構造について説明する。
連結環13Aは、樹脂の射出成形によって形成することができる。図9は、連結環13Aの製造方法の説明図である。なお、図9では、軸心L1から連結環13Aの内周面を平面的に見た図を示している。
実施形態2によれば、実施形態1と同様の効果が得られる。また、実施形態2によれば、連結環13Aの爪14Aと爪15Aとは、軸方向に重ならないように配置されているので、図9に示すように、2つの金型M1,M2を用いて連結環13Aを作製することができる。
(変形例1)
実施形態1及び2では、連結環13及び13Aが無端環状に構成されていると説明したが、特にこれに限定されない。例えば、図12に示すように、連結環13Bの一部が開環していてもよい。
上記の実施形態では、図4を用いて、各爪14のθの大きさ(°)の総和は、全周(360°)に対して、5%以上であることが、連結環13を第1外輪部材91に取り付けたときの安定性の観点から好ましいと説明した。しかしながら、各爪14のθの大きさ(°)の総和は、全周(360°)に対して、5%より小さい場合であっても、連結環13を第1外輪部材91に取り付けたときに優れた安定性を得ることは可能である。

Claims (2)
- 各々の内周面に軌道面を有し、互いに軸方向に接して配置された第1外輪部材及び第2外輪部材と、
前記第1外輪部材及び前記第2外輪部材を互いに固定する、無端環状の樹脂製の連結環と、
外周面に2列の軌道面が形成された内輪と、
前記第1外輪部材の前記軌道面及び前記内輪の2列の軌道面の一方の間に構成される空間、並びに、前記第2外輪部材の前記軌道面及び前記内輪の2列の軌道面の他方の間に構成される空間に配置された複数の転動体と、
を備え、
前記第1外輪部材は、
外周面に周方向に延びる第1の溝と、
前記第1の溝よりも前記第2外輪部材側において径方向に突出する第1凸部と、
を有し、
前記第2外輪部材は、
外周面に周方向に延びる第2の溝と、
前記第2の溝よりも前記第1外輪部材側において径方向に突出する第2凸部と、
を有し、
前記連結環は、
前記第1の溝に向かって突出すると共に、周方向に互いに離間して配置された複数の第1の爪と、
前記第2の溝に向かって突出すると共に、周方向に互いに離間して配置された複数の第2の爪と、
を有し、
前記複数の第1の爪が前記第1の溝に係合し、且つ、前記複数の第2の爪が前記第2の溝に係合することによって、前記第1外輪部材及び前記第2外輪部材が互いに固定され、
前記第1凸部は、前記第2外輪部材から遠ざかるにつれて外径が大きくなる第1凸部傾斜面を有し、
前記第2凸部は、前記第1外輪部材から遠ざかるにつれて外径が大きくなる第2凸部傾斜面を有し、
前記第1の爪は、前記第2外輪部材から遠ざかるにつれて内径が大きくなる第1爪傾斜面を有し、
前記第2の爪は、前記第1外輪部材から遠ざかるにつれて内径が大きくなる第2爪傾斜面を有する、軸受装置。 - 請求項1に記載の軸受装置において、
前記第1爪傾斜面および前記第2爪傾斜面それぞれは、連結環の端部に繋がる、軸受装置。
