Abstract
【解決手段】 上記内輪3aの内端面に円すい凸面部18を設けると共に、この円すい凸面部18を上記かしめ部11により抑え付ける。この結果、このかしめ部11の形成時に、このかしめ部11から上記内輪3aに加わる径方向外方に向く力を、このかしめ部11から上記円すい凸面部18に加わる径方向内方に向く力によって緩和できる為、上記課題を解決できる。

Description
又、このうちの内輪相当部材は、その外周面に上記複列の内輪軌道のうちの何れか一方の内輪軌道を直接又は別体の部材を介して形成した軸部材と、その外周面に他方の内輪軌道を形成した内輪とを備える。そして、上記軸部材の一端部に設けた小径段部に、この内輪を外嵌している。これと共に、この内輪の一端面を、この軸部材の一端部に設けた円筒部のうちこの内輪の一端面から突出した部分を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成したかしめ部により抑え付ける事で、上記内輪を上記軸部材に結合固定している。
そして、使用時には、上記外輪と上記内輪相当部材とのうちの何れか一方の部材を懸架装置を構成するナックルに結合固定すると共に、他方の部材に車輪を支持固定する。
又、本発明の場合には、間座等の別体の部材を設けていない為、部品点数が増大する事はなく、これに伴う不都合が発生する事もない。
この様に傾斜角度θの値を規制する理由は、この傾斜角度θが小さ過ぎると、上記円すい凸面部を通じて上記内輪に加わる径方向内方に向く力が不足し、この内輪の直径が広がるのを抑制する効果が十分に得られなくなる為である。又、反対に、上記傾斜角度θが大き過ぎると、上記かしめ部の形成時にこのかしめ部に亀裂等の損傷が発生し易くなり、発生した場合には、このかしめ部による抑え付け力を十分に確保できなくなる為である。

Claims (1)
- 軸部材の一端部に設けた小径段部に内輪を外嵌すると共に、この内輪の一端面を、この軸部材の一端部に設けた円筒部のうちこの内輪の一端面から突出した部分を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成したかしめ部により抑え付ける事で、上記内輪を上記軸部材に結合固定している車輪支持用ハブユニットに於いて、上記内輪の一端面に、径方向内方に向かう程軸方向に突出する方向に傾斜した円すい凸面部を設けると共に、この円すい凸面部を上記かしめ部により抑え付けている事を特徴とする車輪支持用ハブユニット。
