Claims (18)
- 注射するためのシステムであって、
近位開口及び遠位針インターフェースを規定する注射器本体と、
プランジャ内部を規定し、前記注射器本体に対してストッパ部材を挿入するように手動で操作されるように構成されたプランジャ部材であって、
前記プランジャ内部に配置された針保持特徴と、
前記プランジャ内部に配置されて前記針保持特徴を遠位側から近位側に移動させるように構成されたエネルギー貯蔵部材と、
前記プランジャ内部に配置されたエネルギー貯蔵部材ラッチ部材であって、ラッチ状態でエネルギー貯蔵部材を遠位側に維持し、ラッチ解除状態でエネルギー貯蔵部材を近位側に拡張するように解放するように構成されたエネルギー貯蔵部材ラッチ部材と、を含むプランジャ部材と、
前記注射器本体の前記遠位針インターフェースに連結された針ハブアセンブリであって、
細長針近位部分とカラー部分と近位先端とを含む針近位端特徴を有する針と、
ハブと、
前記ハブに前記針を連結するように構成された針ラッチ部材と、を含む針ハブアセンブリと、を備え、
前記注射器本体に対して前記プランジャ部材を手動で操作すると、前記針保持特徴が前記針の近位先端を保持し、前記針の近位先端が前記エネルギー貯蔵部材ラッチ部材に当接して、前記エネルギー貯蔵部材ラッチ部材をラッチ状態からラッチ解除状態に変えて、前記エネルギー貯蔵部材が近位側に拡張して前記針保持特徴および前記針を近位側へ移動させることにより、前記針が少なくとも部分的にプランジャ内部に格納され、
前記エネルギー貯蔵部材ラッチ部材は前記プランジャ部材の内面と前記針保持特徴との間で相互連結され、
前記細長針近位部分が、実質的に一定の第1断面直径を有し、
前記カラー部分が、第2断面直径を有し、
前記第2断面直径が前記第1断面直径より大きく、
前記カラー部分が環状遠位対向面を備え、
前記針保持特徴は、前記針が前記針保持特徴に連結された時に、前記環状遠位対向面と協働して前記針保持特徴に対する前記針の遠位側への移動を妨げる複数のラッチ部材を有する受け部材を備え、
前記受け部材は、その遠位端に配置された剛性リングを有する、ことを特徴とする注射するためのシステム。 - 前記針が、前記針の格納を開始するために前記ストッパ部材を貫通するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記針が前記針保持特徴に連結された時、前記環状遠位対向面が、前記針保持特徴に対する前記針の遠位側への移動を妨げるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記針近位端特徴は近位向きテーパ面をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位向きテーパ面が近位尖端円錐を規定する、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のラッチ部材が2つのラッチ部材から構成され、
前記2つのラッチ部材の各々はアーチ形の断面幾何学的形状を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記複数のラッチ部材が4つのラッチ部材から構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記受け部材が複数のスリットをさらに有しており、前記複数のスリットの各スリットが前記複数のラッチ部材のうちの2つのラッチ部材の間に配置されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記受け部材は、前記針近位端特徴が前記受け部材を越えて近位側に移動することができる開放構成と、前記針近位端特徴が前記受け部材を越えて遠位側に移動することができない休止構成と、を有し、
前記受け部材が前記開放構成にある時よりも前記受け部材が前記休止構成にある時に前記複数のラッチ部材は互いにより近い、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記受け部材が前記休止構成にあるように前記複数のラッチ部材が互いにより近くに移動するように付勢される、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のラッチ部材は、前記針近位端特徴が前記受け部材を越えて近位側に移動させられて前記受け部材を前記開放構成に配置する時に互いに離れるように移動するように構成される、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のラッチ部材は、前記受け部材が前記休止構成に戻されるように前記針近位端特徴が前記受け部材を越えて近位方向に移動した時に互いに近くに移動するように付勢され、その結果、前記複数のラッチ部材と前記針近位端特徴の前記環状遠位対向面との間の相互作用が前記針保持特徴に対する前記針の遠位側への移動を妨げる、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記針近位端特徴は近位開口及び中空内部を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記針は、管状部材であって、当該管状部材の内部が前記針近位端特徴の前記中空内部に流体連通するように前記近位端特徴に連結された管状部材を備え、
前記管状部材が側面開口を含む、請求項13に記載のシステム。 - 前記針が、前記ストッパ部材を前記針上で押すために必要な遠位力を増大させるように構成された肩部を備える、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記近位開口は、前記針近位端特徴の鈍った縁部によって規定される、請求項13に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長針近位部分が中実である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記針の前記近位先端が第3断面直径を有し、
前記第1断面直径が前記第3断面直径より大きい、請求項1に記載のシステム。
