Description
以下、実施の形態を詳細に説明する。
図1は、本実施の形態1による車両に設けられるヘッドライト装置10における概観の一例を示す説明図である。図1(a)は、自動車などの車両100に設けられるヘッドライト装置10の概観図であり、図1(b)は、図1(a)のヘッドライト装置10に注目した概観拡大図である。
図6は、図4のヘッドライト装置10が有する近赤外光照明ユニット17における構成の一例を示す説明図である。
図7は、図3のヘッドライト装置10が有するコリメータユニット22における構成の一例を示す説明図である。図8は、図6のコリメータユニット22が有するコリメータ131の一部を拡大した断面の説明図である。
ここで、シャッタ81の作用について説明する。
ここで、fはプロジェクタレンズ18の焦点距離である。
図10は、図3のヘッドライト装置10が有するプロジェクタレンズ18における結像特性の一例を示す説明図である。
前記実施の形態1では、図1に示したように車両100が有するヘッドライトがロービーム用のヘッドライト装置10aとハイビーム用のヘッドライト装置10との2つのヘッドライト装置から構成された例を示したが、本実施の形態2においては、ハイビームとロービームとを照射することのできるヘッドライト装置について説明する。
図11は、本実施の形態2によるヘッドライト装置10の一例を示す断面の説明図である。図12は、図11のヘッドライト装置10による赤外光を照明した際の一例を示す説明図である。
次に、ロービーム用のヘッドライトである照明ユニット90は、図11において、偏光素子84の左側に配置されている。
図13は、図11のヘッドライト装置10のシャッタ81が閉じられた状態の一例の断面を示す説明図である。

Claims (9)
- 車両に取り付けられて前記車両が走行する路面上に照明光を照射するヘッドライト装置であって、
前記照明光を発生する光源ユニットと、
前記光源ユニットの光軸上に設けられ、前記光源ユニットから照射される照明光を配光して投射するレンズと、
を備え、
前記光源ユニットは、
光を放射する少なくとも1つの半導体光源素子と、
前記半導体光源素子から出射される光を略平行に変換するコリメータ部と、
を備え、
前記光源ユニットから出射される照明光の配光を制御する配光制御素子と、
前記配光制御素子と前記レンズとの間に設けられ、前記レンズを通して入射する太陽光から前記配光制御素子を遮蔽する遮蔽部と、
を有する、ヘッドライト装置。 - 請求項1記載のヘッドライト装置において、
前記レンズは、多数枚からなる、ヘッドライト装置。 - 請求項2記載のヘッドライト装置において、
前記レンズは、3枚である、ヘッドライト装置。 - 請求項1記載のヘッドライト装置において、
前記配光制御素子は、透過率を制御する液晶パネルである、ヘッドライト装置。 - 請求項1記載のヘッドライト装置において、
前記車両に搭載される車載カメラに用いられる近赤外光を照射する近赤外光照射ユニットを備える、ヘッドライト装置。 - 請求項4記載のヘッドライト装置において、
前記液晶パネルによって配光制御された光を偏光する偏光素子を備え、
前記偏光素子は、前記液晶パネルと分離して設けられる、ヘッドライト装置。 - 請求項4記載のヘッドライト装置において、
前記液晶パネルによって配光制御された光を偏光する偏光素子を備え、
前記偏光素子は、透過偏光に直交する偏光を反射する反射型偏光素子である、ヘッドライト装置。 - 請求項1記載のヘッドライト装置において、
前記光源ユニットは、
前記コリメータ部の出射面側に設けられ、前記コリメータ部から出射した光を偏光波に変換する偏光変換素子と、
前記偏光変換素子が偏光変換した光を前記配光制御素子に反射および集光する自由曲面ミラーと、
を有する、ヘッドライト装置。 - 請求項5記載のヘッドライト装置において、
前記近赤外光照射ユニットが照射する赤外光は、ダイクロイックミラーにより合成され、前記レンズから出射される、ヘッドライト装置。
