Description
前記バンド層は、タイヤ周方向に螺旋状に巻回されたスチール製のバンドコードを有するバンドプライから形成され、
しかも前記バンドコードは、コード1本当たり、圧縮剛性が500N/mm以下、曲げ剛性が15.0g・cm以下、かつ49N荷重時のコードの伸びが0.5〜2.5%の範囲であることを特徴としている。
図1に示すように、本実施形態の自動二輪車用タイヤ1は、トレッド部2からサイドウォール部3をへてビード部4のビードコア5に至るカーカス6と、該カーカス6の半径方向外側かつトレッド部2の内部に配されるバンド層7とを具える。
(A)コードの撚り数が増すことにより、圧縮剛性が減少し、曲げ剛性が減少し、コードの伸びが増加するする。
(B)スチール素線12の本数が増すことにより、圧縮剛性が増加し、曲げ剛性が増加し、コードの伸びが減少する。
(C)スチール素線12の直径dが増すことにより、圧縮剛性が増加し、曲げ剛性が増加し、コードの伸びが減少する。
(D)型付け素線12Aの本数が増すことにより、圧縮剛性が減少し、曲げ剛性が増加し、コードの伸びが増加する。
(E)型付けの高さhが増すことにより、圧縮剛性が減少し、曲げ剛性が増加し、コードの伸びが増加する。
(F)型付けのピッチPが増すことにより、圧縮剛性が増加し、曲げ剛性が減少し、コードの伸びが減少する。
・コードの撚り構造としては、1×4構造、1×5構造、及び3×3構造が好適であり、特には1×4構造が圧縮/曲げの剛性バランスの観点からより好適に採用しうる。
・コードの撚り数は、8〜12回/10cmの範囲で調整するのが、コード強力と疲労性との観点から好ましい。
・スチール素線12の直径dは、0.15〜0.25mmの範囲で調整するのが、コード強力と剛性の観点から好ましい。
・型付けの高さhは、0.15〜0.25mmの範囲で調整するのが、ゴム浸入と剛性との観点から好ましい。
・型付けのピッチPは、2.5〜5.0mmの範囲で調整するのが、ゴム浸入と剛性との観点から好ましい。

バンドコードの打ち込み本数−−−36本/5cm
ドラム走行試験機を用い、試供タイヤを、リム(MT6.00×17)、内圧(200kPa)、負荷荷重(7.0KN)、速度(80km/h)、キャンバー角度(45度)の条件にて、ドラム上で走行させた。ドラムの外周面には、半径0.5インチの半円条の突起物が4箇所、周方向に分散配置されている。そして10、000km走行後にタイヤを解体し、バンドコードのコード切れの発生の有無を検査した。コード切れが無いものを○、あるものを×で示す。
試供タイヤを、リム(MT6.00×17)、内圧(200kPa)の条件で、大型自動二輪車(1000cc)の後輪に装着して、ドライアスファルトのタイヤテストコースを実車走行した。そして、速度120km/hで走行中に、レーンチェンジしたときの操縦安定性をドライバーの官能評価により3点法で評価した。指数の大きい方が良好である。又合格を○、不合格を×で示す。

Claims (2)
- トレッド部からサイドウォール部をへてビード部のビードコアに至るカーカスと、該カーカスの半径方向外側かつ前記トレッド部の内部に配されるバンド層とを具えた自動二輪車用タイヤであって、
前記バンド層は、タイヤ周方向に螺旋状に巻回されたスチール製のバンドコードを有するバンドプライから形成され、
前記バンドコードは、コード1本当たり、圧縮剛性が500N/mm以下、曲げ剛性が15.0g・cm以下、かつ49N荷重時のコードの伸びが0.5〜2.5%の範囲であり、
前記バンドコードは、n本のスチール素線を撚り合わせた構造をなし、
n本の前記スチール素線は、撚り合わせ前の状態にて型付けされた型付け素線を1本以上含み、
前記バンドコードは、コードの撚り数が8〜12回/10cmの範囲であり、
前記スチール素線の直径は、0.15〜0.25mmの範囲であり、
前記型付け素線の型付けの高さは、0.15〜0.25mm の範囲であり、
前記型付け素線の型付けのピッチは、2.5〜5.0mmの範囲であることを特徴とする自動二輪車用タイヤ。 - 前記バンドコードは、4本の前記スチール素線を撚り合わせた1×4構造をなすことを特徴とする請求項1記載の自動二輪車用タイヤ。
