Claims (11)
- 内部通路(82)が内側に画定されたコンポーネント(80)を形成する方法であって、当該方法が、
第1の材料(322)から形成された中空構造体(320)を用意するステップと、
前記中空構造体(320)を内側コア材料(326)で充填してジャケット付きコア(310)を形成するステップであって、内側コア材料(326)が内側コア(324)を形成し、ジャケット付きコア(310)が、先端部部分(312)及びルート部部分(316)を含む、ステップと、
モールド(300)に対して前記ジャケット付きコア(310)を位置決めするステップであって、位置決めするステップが、インベストメント鋳造プロセスによって前記モールド(300)を形成するステップを含んでおり、該インベストメント鋳造プロセスの間に、前記先端部部分(312)及び前記ルート部部分(316)のうちの少なくとも1つが前記モールド(300)内に包み込まれる、ステップと、
溶融状態のコンポーネント材料(78)が、前記モールド(300)のキャビティー(304)内の前記ジャケット付きコア(310)の一部分から第1の材料(322)を少なくとも部分的に吸収するように、溶融状態のコンポーネント材料(78)を前記モールド(300)のキャビティー(304)内に導入するステップと、
前記コンポーネント(80)を形成するために、前記キャビティー(304)内のコンポーネント材料(78)を冷却するステップと、
前記内部通路(82)を形成するために、前記コンポーネント(80)から前記内側コア材料(326)を除去するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 前記コンポーネント材料(78)を導入して冷却するまでの間に前記ジャケット付きコア(310)が前記モールド(300)に対して固定されたままになるように、前記モールド(300)に対して前記ジャケット付きコア(310)を固定するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コンポーネント(80)から前記内側コア材料(326)を除去するステップが、前記コンポーネント材料(78)を劣化させることなく、前記コンポーネント(80)から前記内側コア材料(326)を除去するステップを含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記中空構造体(320)を内側コア材料(326)で充填するステップの前に、前記内部通路(82)の選択された非線形的な形状に対応するように、前記中空構造体(320)を事前形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記コンポーネント(80)が、ローターブレード(70)及びステーターベーン(72)のうちの1つを含み、前記中空構造体(320)を事前形成するステップが、前記コンポーネント(80)の軸線方向の捩じりに相補的な前記内部通路(82)の非線形的な形状に対応するように、前記中空構造体(320)を事前形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記内側コア(324)の外部表面(332)が、少なくとも1つの凹んだフィーチャー(334)を有しており、当該方法が、前記少なくとも1つの凹んだフィーチャー(334)の形状に相補的な少なくとも1つの通路壁部フィーチャー(98)を備える内部通路(82)を形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記中空構造体(320)を内側コア材料(326)で充填するステップの前に、前記少なくとも1つの凹んだフィーチャー(334)の形状を画定するように前記中空構造体(320)を事前形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記中空構造体(320)を事前形成するステップが、少なくとも1つの窪み(340)を形成するように、前記中空構造体(320)をクリンプするステップを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記中空構造体(320)を内側コア材料(326)で充填するステップの後に、前記少なくとも1つの凹んだフィーチャー(334)の形状を画定するように前記ジャケット付きコア(310)を操作するステップをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ジャケット付きコア(310)を操作するステップが、前記内側コア(324)に少なくとも1つの切り欠き(352)を形成するステップを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
