Description
、切削箇所のレール本体の肉厚が薄くなることから、切削加工した段部が応力集中の起点
となり得るため、内圧負荷時に破損して漏れが生じるおそれがある。そのため、内圧負荷
時に破損が生じにくいものとするためにはレール本体を肉厚に形成しなければならずコス
トが高くつくものとなる。また、レール本体を切削加工する際に切粉が生じるため、この
切粉が異物となるおそれがあるとともに、切粉によりレール本体に傷が生じるおそれがあ
る。更に切削加工に切削油を使用した場合には、脱脂洗浄等の余分な工程が加わるものと
なるため製造が煩雑なものとなる。
ることにより、図1に示す如くエンドキャップ(1)の基端(4)外周に設けた当接鍔(5)がレ
ール本体(2)の端面(16)に当接するものとなる。このようにエンドキャップ(1)を形成配置
することにより、エンドキャップ(1)のレール本体(2)を横にした状態でろう付け作業を行
った際に、図1の矢印に示す方向に溶けたろう材が流れ出す。これにより、外観から
ろう材を視認することが可能となるため、レール本体(2)とエンドキャップ(1)との当接部
分全域がろう付けされたことを間接的に確認することができる。

Claims (2)
- レール本体の端部内方に挿入配置されるとともに、このレール本体の内周にろう付け固定されるエンドキャップにおいて、一対の側面及び底面から成るとともにろう材製リングを係合可能とする係合凹溝が、レール本体への挿入部の外周に備えられているとともに、基端の外周は、レール本体の外方に突出配置されるとともにレール本体の端面に当接可能とする当接鍔が設けられ、上記挿入部の外周とレール本体の内周、及び上記当接鍔とレール本体の端面との間には、上記ろう材製リングからの溶けたろう材が流出可能な間隔が設けられるとともに、上記係合凹溝は、その断面形状を底面と両側面とからなるコ字型とし、当該係合凹溝の両側面のうち、上記当接鍔側の一側面がレール本体の内周面に当接するとともに他側面がレール本体の内周面に当接しない構成であることを特徴とするエンドキャップ。
- 挿入部の先端面と外周面との間には、先端面側を径小としたテーパー形状のテーパー壁面を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1のエンドキャップ。
