Description
すなわち本発明の密封装置は、鉄道車両の車軸軸受部に用いられる密封装置であって、軸受の外輪に取り付けられる外環と、前記外環の内周側に嵌合される内環とを有する密封装置において、前記外環の内周面および前記内環の外周面に、凹凸の嵌め合わせによる両環位置決め構造を設け、前記内環は、前記外環の内周面に嵌合される外周筒部と、前記外周筒部の軸方向端部から径方向内方へ向けて設けられた端面部と、前記端面部の内周端部から軸方向へ向けて設けられ、回転側部品との間に微小間隙を形成して非接触式のラビリンスシールを構成する内周筒部と、を一体に備えることを特徴とする(請求項1)。

Claims (2)
- 鉄道車両の車軸軸受部に用いられる密封装置であって、軸受の外輪に取り付けられる外環と、前記外環の内周側に嵌合される内環とを有する密封装置において、
前記外環の内周面および前記内環の外周面に、凹凸の嵌め合わせによる両環位置決め構造を設け、
前記内環は、前記外環の内周面に嵌合される外周筒部と、前記外周筒部の軸方向端部から径方向内方へ向けて設けられた端面部と、前記端面部の内周端部から軸方向へ向けて設けられ、回転側部品との間に微小間隙を形成して非接触式のラビリンスシールを構成する内周筒部と、を一体に備えることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 請求項1記載の密封装置において、
前記両環位置決め構造は、前記外環の内周面に設けられた溝部と、前記内環の外周面に設けられるとともに前記溝部に係合するビード状突起との組み合わせよりなることを特徴とする密封装置。
