上記化学式において、Aは、Ni、Co、Mn、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択され;Xは、Al、Ni、Co、Mn、Cr、Fe、Mg、Sr、V、希土類元素、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択され;Dは、O、F、S、P、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択され;Eは、Co、Mn、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択され;Tは、F、S、P、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択され;Gは、Al、Cr、Mn、Fe、Mg、La、Ce、Sr、V、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択され;Qは、Ti、Mo、Mn、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択され;Zは、Cr、V、Fe、Sc、Y、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択され;Jは、V、Cr、Mn、Co、Ni、Cu、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される。
「実施例1」
融点が110℃、粒子サイズが1μm、重量平均分子量が5,000g/molの第1ポリエチレン粒子(Mitsui社、Chemipearl W401)60重量%と、融点が128℃、粒子サイズが3μm、重量平均分子量が20,000g/molの第2ポリエチレン粒子(Mitsui社、Chemipearl W100)40重量%とで混合された混合物97.5重量%を、アクリル系ゴム(ZEON社、BM−900B)2.5重量%と共に水に混合して、有機層組成物を製造した。
空隙の平均サイズが0.05μm、空隙率が45体積%のポリエチレン材質の多孔性基材の両面に、実施例1で製造された無機層組成物を塗布して両面に無機層を形成することにより、セパレータを製造した。このとき、上記基材の厚さは9μm、上記両面の無機層の総厚さは5μmとなるように形成した。
融点が110℃、粒子サイズが1μm、重量平均分子量が5,000g/molのポリエチレン粒子(Mitsui社、Chemipearl W401)97.5重量%を、アクリル系ゴム(ZEON社、BM−900B)2.5重量%と共に水に混合して、有機層組成物を製造した。
正極活物質としてLiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O290重量%およびLiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O210重量%の混合物94重量%、導電剤としてカーボンブラック3重量%、およびバインダーとしてポリビニリデンフルオライド3重量%をN−メチルピロリドン(NMP)溶媒に添加して、スラリーを製造した。上記スラリーをアルミニウム(Al)薄膜に塗布および乾燥し、ロールプレスを実施して正極を製造した。
実施例1と比較例1および2によるセパレータについて温度に応じた抵抗変化を評価して、その結果を図4および下記表1に示した。

- 基材と、
前記基材の少なくとも一面に位置し、有機物を含む有機層と、
前記基材の少なくとも一面に位置し、無機物を含む無機層とを含み、
前記有機物は、第1有機粒子と、前記第1有機粒子と融点が異なる第2有機粒子とを含み、
前記第1有機粒子と前記第2有機粒子との融点の差が10℃〜20℃であり、
前記有機物の融点は、前記基材の融点より低く、
前記基材の融点は、135℃〜140℃であり、
前記有機物の融点は、100℃〜130℃である、
